The picture doesn't do this haircut justice, but there's more to it than meets the eye. In this case, it's Noami herself. I was a little skeptical at first because it's a little difficult to find a barber, barbershop, or anything of the sort that's actually 5/5 stars, but I think she deserves that and more. My experience was beyond amazing and it's all for the simpliest reasons. She responds pretty quickly on Yelp and text. She'll first provide a brief consultation to ensure you can visual the haircut you want. Then, she'll explain what she'll do and wait for your approval. She's super friendly and can definitely keep a conversation going. The best part of the entire experience was the knowledge that came with the haircut and getting my hair washed. She also blow dried my hair and applied wax all for the purpose of showing me how I need to take care of my hair in order to fully shape it into the pictures I presented to her before I came. I highly recommend her services, but plan ahead because I believe she works on appointments only. I'll be back for sure! FYI. My hair was pretty short and my ask was pretty simple, so my haircut was about $20 today before tip. Cons - nothing as of yet. read more

TL;DR Naomi is great! Highly recommend for anyone needing a haircut. Pros: - extremely easy to converse with and does not lose focus when she's talking with you! - as an asian american, its hard to find barbers who know your hair style and want whats best for you. She does an incredible job explaining hair products/cuts that i was interested in - man is she fast! I got in and out in less than 30 minutes. Most of the barbers I go to in LA spend at least 40-50 minutes. Cons: - honestly, none. I can't recommend her enough. Wow!!! It was my first time with Naomi. Her suite is so clean and private. Also, my first haircut was only $7 and can't beat that price. She also do the best cut. She truly care about my hair.
