My review is far overdue. I'm no professional, by any means, but sometimes I get lucky and I take a decent photo with my nothing-special digital camera. It was important to me that our wedding photography wasn't like a collection of get-lucky semi-great photos with maybe two amazing shots. I've heard too many horror stories about poor wedding photography. However, when I saw Dapper Images' work, I thought DANG. It's consistently beautiful and it's a testament to the talent behind the lenses! When you meet with them and have a chance to browse through an extensive collection of weddings and events you'll notice at least two important things: 1) everyone in those photographs (hundreds from the same event) looks great - grandma, awkward groomsman, inebriated guests - everyone; 2) the shots are beautiful, creative, and moving, whether it's of a little newborn or an engagement session. I am so very pleased with our decision to have them shoot our wedding this past May. Yasmine and DeShun are incredibly talented and so wonderful and comfortable to work with. Our outdoor wedding day weather turned sour for what had been projected to be a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. No big deal for Yasmine and DeShun. They beautifully captured the mood, our love, all the emotions, and the people who shared our day with us. I've received so many compliments on how gorgeous the photos are and how gorgeous the mister and I look in them. I HIGHLY recommend this professional, sincere, fun-to-work-with duo. Dapper Images works hard to deliver complete satisfaction when it comes to your photographs and the time they spend with you at your session or event. You will never find a better photographer no matter where you look, Yasmine and Deshun the most amazing and artistic couple we've ever met, after seeing the wedding pictures of a couple of our friends we were hooked on the photo's alone, once we met them we knew that there was no one else that could capture us for who we really are, so much so that we flew them from San Diego to our home town in New York. They are so in love with the work they do and so in touch with their clients, and incredible with the guests and family ( even with a very Irish and a very Italian family). Their quality of work is no less then superb. They made us feel like there was nothing more important to them then our day. We went with Dapper for our engagement and our wedding and we will be going back for wreck the dress, maternity, and new born pictures, as well as any other excuse we come up with work with them. I live in the mid east and am an entrepreneur. I've used Dapper Images twice now and am AMAZED by their work!! It explains why I've chosen to travel miles away to San Diego to use them as my photographers. It has been difficult for me to find photographers that would even compare to the artistry, creativeness, experience and beauty that Dapper Images provide. My husband and I found Deshun and Yasmine (Dapper Images) using google and I am so thankful that we did! They were truly incredible from our first meeting them at their studio we knew they would be the perfect team to photograph our special day. They showed us video of their work and actually showed a video of them while working. They are so professional and they show you exactly how to pose or stand before taking the shot. We had so much diaglouge before the wedding they knew without a doubt what I was wanting / expecting for my special day. They went above and beyond what I could have dreamed of. There are not enough words in the world to express how amazing Deshun and Yasmine's work is. I have booked six different photo shoots with them (Engagement, Boudoir, Bridal Shower, Friends Session, Wedding and Maternity) and each session takes my breath away. They have managed to capture very personal and meaningful moments in my life and I can continue to relive each moment through their pictures. They make all sessions (even personal ones like a boudoir) comfortable and fun. They have a way of putting all anxieties at ease and working wonders with their cameras. Going into the wedding my wife and I were nervous about the pictures because they are such a huge part of the wedding experience and the awesome memories. It was such a pleasure to have this highly talented team of photographers be a part of our wedding experience. My photographs are the most valued part of my wedding (besides my husband, of course). Dapper Images perfectly captured my wedding as it happened and I remember in my head. Their detailed consultations and willingness to work with our budget before our wedding made me feel so comfortable. The day of they were so calm though I was running late and slightly frantic. They made sure they got the moments that were important and the moments I would never have thought would now mean so much to me. I have had the privilege of working with Dapper (Yas and Deshun) on multiple occasions; two of those times were for my engagement shoot 10/11 and wedding 4/12. They are amazing and I have recommended them to everyone I know looking for photographers! WOW...is all I have to say. Dapper Images exudes professionalism, creative style, fun and awesome customer service. We live in Seattle, WA so I was a little concerned that we wouldn't be able to afford them due to the travel, but Yasmine adjusted some of their packaging prices and made it happen. They can be as traditional as you like, but can also bring new innovative ideas to your wedding photo package. They had our digital photos available to view within 3 weeks of the wedding and were really responsive to all my questions. I never got the feeling that I was just another client on their books. I couldn't agree more with the previous reviews. I used Dapper Images for my wedding this past weekend and I couldn't be happier with them! Both Yasmine and DeShun are hardworking, professional, and great collaborators. I hired Side by Side Cinema and the four of them all worked well together. No egos, nothing. It was 'hey, I'm going to do this is that ok?' We took pictures on the dock and DeShun was laying down on the dock and/or sitting on it to get the best angle shot. Both of them kept us on our timeline, getting us on time to our ceremony, and on time to our reception. We are really looking forward to getting our pictures!! read more
