With that being said, the venue left more to be desired. We were welcomed into the event space, which was beautifully decorated. Soon after my friend arrived, the manager/owner (?) announced that the food was being served. In my opinion, it was too soon. They didn't give her a chance to make her rounds and greet everyone that was there for her. Yes, the guests had been there for maybe 30 minutes, but it was a surprise event and the hosts should have been in charge of the timing and event itinerary. We ate and everything was really good. The food was awesome so I have no complaints with that. We played a cpl games and then they announced the cake service. Again, it felt super rushed. By this time, it was only around 230 and feel like we were only there for 2 hours. It wasn't supposed to be over until around 4/430,as per the invitation. They had a dessert table with tons of treats. We had containers to take the extras home. I asked one of the servers for a plastic bag and he told me I would gave to wait because it was the chef's birthday. I thought that was an off response, but he mentioned that the staff was singing him happy birthday in the back, which meant anything we needed was on hold until they finished. I thought that was an odd explanation. Why couldn't they wait until after the event? Very odd. Another odd thing I noticed was that one of the servers walked around and began serving red and white wine to the guests seated at the tables. I found it odd because there was an open bar and most of the guests were elderly women, pregnant women, and young girls, that were not drinking any alcohol. At least three tables out of the 5 or 6 in all, did not drink alcohol because they were either teens, pregnant or elderly. I also did not drink any wine because I already had a drink from the bar, so it was I was double fisting and left the wine that was poured, untouched. I'm unsure if my friend was charged for that but I would have been pissed if I was charged for that. The unopened bottles should have stayed on the table unless a guest opened one or asked for it to be opened, and no one requested this. In the end, everything was beautiful. I really wish that I didn't leave so early. I thought the event was over because if felt like the venue was rushing us out and there was still 90 minutes left. It halted because of one of the kitchen staff member's birthdays. On the bright side, my gf now has a beautiful and precious baby girl and I'm extremely happy for her.

Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the night even better. The food and drinks were also really good, which was a nice surprise for a bowling alley. Everything we ordered was delicious and the drinks were great too. Overall it was just a really fun night out. Great atmosphere, great staff, and great food and drinks. Definitely a 10/10 experience and we'll for sure be coming back!

Our server couldn't just clearly explain that we couldn't do that, and kept saying "you can order one of each but each one would be the full price" (which makes no sense and is obviously not what I wanted). He seemed very agitated and annoyed so I asked him to calm down, which seemed to make him even more upset. While I was trying to order something else, he asked if I wanted another server, and I said no and tried to move on, but then he walked off anyway. A different server came over a few minutes later after we went searching for one, and cleared it all up in seconds. Later, when we asked the original server for help with bumpers for the kids, he said "I'm no longer your server" and walked away again. Not to mention they don't allow multiple cards for food orders, with prices that rival movie theaters. All this with bad service to boot? No thanks. The bowling itself was fine, and the arcade looked fun, but this server's attitude and inability to communicate really soured the visit.

More than half of my guest did not eat until after 10:00pm. Every table that I went to, to see how everything was, said either that the food was not good or not cooked or they had no food yet! My parents table, which is the second most important table there, the food was cold to the touch, their steaks were rare after which they specified that they wanted well-done. My salmon, which I was the most important to satisfy, was like cardboard, I DID NOT eat at all that night, my husband and best man did not eat either!...My entire family brought home made desserts which were displayed three tables and I also brought to-go containers for the END of the night if my guest wanted to take desserts home. Now prior Chatham Manor had told me that they would put out plates for my guest and it would be self service for the desserts during the party. I didn't find out until the next day, that Chatham Manor did not put out plates for my guest. AND my aunt went to ask them for plates and they told her NO. But instead they decided to put my to-go containers and people were sitting at their table eating out of a to-go container. I was so upset when i heard that! HOW EMBARRASSING!! AND another thing people were taking the desserts with there HANDS, Chatham Manor would not even put a spoon or fork so people can pick up the dessert and put it in their plate. One of the most important days of my life I spent it running back and forth into the kitchen asking about food!
