We had such a great time at Bowlero in Norwalk! The whole place has an awesome vibe. The staff was honestly one of the best parts of the experience. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the night even better. The food and drinks were also really good, which was a nice surprise for a bowling alley. Everything we ordered was delicious and the drinks were great too. Overall it was just a really fun night out. Great atmosphere, great staff, and great food and drinks. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful, but our food server was rude and unpleasant. The menu said each taco order comes with three tacos, so I assumed I could mix and match and asked for three different ones. Our server couldn't just clearly explain that we couldn't do that, and kept saying "you can order one of each but each one would be the full price" (which makes no sense and is obviously not what I wanted). He seemed very agitated and annoyed so I asked him to calm down, which seemed to make him even more upset. While I was trying to order something else, he asked if I wanted another server, and I said no and tried to move on, but then he walked off anyway. A different server came over a few minutes later after we went searching for one, and cleared it all up in seconds. Later, when we asked the original server for help with bumpers for the kids, he said "I'm no longer your server" and walked away again. Not to mention they don't allow multiple cards for food orders, with prices that rival movie theaters. All this with bad service to boot? No thanks. The bowling itself was fine, and the arcade looked fun, but this server's attitude and inability to communicate really soured the visit. read more

We had a very disappointing experience because of one of the servers, who I believe was named Devin (Hispanic, skinny, with curly hair tied in a ponytail). When we were ordering, there was some confusion about one of the taco combo meals. Instead of helping clarify the menu, Devin became unnecessarily aggressive toward my husband. He then abruptly said he would get us a different server and walked away without ever returning or telling anyone else to help us. After waiting for quite a while, my sister-in-law had to find Devin herself just to ask who was supposed to be serving our table. Only then did another server finally come over and take our order. Unfortunately, the poor service didn't end there. Later, my brother-in-law needed help setting up the bowling bumpers for the kids. Devin happened to walk by, so he politely asked if he could assist. Devin's only response was, "I am not your server," before walking away without offering any help or directing us to someone who could. Even if he was no longer assigned to our table, basic customer service and common courtesy would have been to either help or point us to the appropriate employee. Instead, his attitude throughout our visit was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Thankfully, the server who eventually took over our table was polite and helpful. However, Devin's behavior left such a negative impression that it overshadowed the rest of our visit. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should be treated this way over a simple question about the menu. read more

Weird behavior from staff here. Went for Father's Day and apparently they had a promotion running, $23/pp, unlimited, includes shoes. Cool, didn't expect that but we took the cashier up on the offer. Less than halfway through our 3rd game (only 4 of us so games go by pretty quick) the lane shuts down. Weird. A server comes over and checks on us, says he'll check with the manager, apparently it's because the "unlimited" promotion ends at 3pm. Ok, would've been good to know when we were told about the "unlimited" promotion or else one may be mistaken and think it's "unlimited"... as the name says. We ask about extending the time so we can finish since there was a misunderstanding, and we're only on the 3rd frame. Server says he'll check with manager, comes back and says manager said if we do a survey we can get 20 min. Weird way to do business but I guess it's bowling so what do we expect... Turns out it's a survey on someone's old receipt. We didn't order food or anything but I guess a previous customer did and now we're typing in their receipt number and ID to get 20 minutes to bowl on Father's Day. Server stood over us the whole time to watch us fill out the survey. Train staff to tell customers the extent of what a promotion offers. And don't be shady trading us 20 minutes for a review on someone else's receipt. Weird behavior. Bad business ethics. read more

What a fun experience! Bowling is one of my favorites, and cosmic bowling is even more fun. Great, high-energy music, friendly staff (server, front desk, manager), issue-free operating system, ball return, and pin reracking, as well as a huge arcade area. It was $37/person for unlimited bowling, shoe rental, and a $10 card for the arcade tonight (Sunday night). Pro tip: Avoid lanes 30 and higher that are right by the bathrooms. My family and I visited for the first time yesterday. We were able to play two games which came to about $60 for the three of us. We did order a food sampler which was $40. There were a lot of birthday parties going and quite a few children running through our area of bowling, which was a little annoying. We enjoyed playing and the video screens of videos were a nice, although a bit distracting. We plan to be back. There is an arcade and two restrooms one on each side me the room. read more

Opted for the alley sampler and kids tenders meal. The fries were a tad salty, a couple of wings were chewy, and the cheese bread slightly stale. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall food quality was good, with the sampler priced at $35.99 and kids tenders around $7.99 or $8.99. Ate at the bar tonight for my son's 14th birthday. He loves your chic fingers. The service was terrible. Ordered electronically from the menu so that's easy for the team, right? Well after ordering myself and still tipping 22% before getting any service the bartender decided It was a good idea to roll her eyes when I asked for salt on a margarita. It was the first drink so...it wasn't me. Then she was slow and seemingly annoyed when I asked about our other drinks she was missing. I tried to make things easy by going to the bar but she was uninterested at best. It was annoying and for 150.00 of bad food and drink I wasn't thrilled. This place is a decent bowling alley but isn't as clean as other Bowlero franchises I have been to. They have a decent selections of beer served in glasses, pitchers and towers. That's about great to hangout with friends and share a tower. We celebrated my daughter's 11th birthday here last month and I would definitely consider hosting another birthday here in the future. We were actually looking for a place to do laser tag and while they didn't have just a laser tag party option, we all enjoyed ourselves. Here's why I gave them 4 stars: - I went into Bowlero to inquire about their parties on a weekday afternoon and it was so hard to find someone to help me. I stood at the desk for at least 10 minutes and staff would just pass by and ignore me. I walked the entire place trying to find someone after being ignored. The desk staff wasn't very knowledgeable or helpful about parties. I was told I needed to call the number on the website. Thankfully the service the day of the party was much better. - My daughter didn't decide what she wanted to do for her birthday until the week of. I called Bowlero on a Tuesday and was able to book a party for that Saturday! - Robert, who is the person on the phone who books the events, was very helpful. He understood my needs and offered me just that. I didn't feel like I was being "sold" on anything extra. He answered all my questions and even followed up afterwards. - When we got there we were assigned two people to help, one was the bartender, Gabrielle, and the other, Tim, was in charge of the party. They were super helpful and as attentive as they could be given it was a very busy Saturday. - We had two lanes and one of them kept having issues with the pins not resetting. Since it was a busy day we kept having to wait for the mechanic to come and fix it. Overall I think the kids lost about 30 mins of bowling time because of it. Tim made it up to us by adding an extra round of laser tag and giving extra arcade credits. The kids didn't seem to mind. - I appreciated that while the kids played laser tag we were still able to keep our lanes so that we could keep the groups' belongings together, and my youngest who is not tall enough to play laser tag kept bowling. - Food was included in our party package - cheese pizzas and soft drinks were lightly refreshed. They pizzas were just ok, but again no one complained. - Arcade is kinda small but the kids found a way to use all their tokens. They don't get a lot of tickets for each of the games so it's hard to get more than a cheap, plastic party favor with tickets unless you're spending a lot of money on tokens. My daughter did win a huge ball from the claw machine though! Overall, this place was great for a birthday party. They offer bowling, laser tag and an arcade, and the food is just ok. Had we not had issues with the pins resetting and the poor service when I went in the day to inquire about the party, I would have rated them 5 stars. We would definitely consider hosting another party here in the future. read more

We asked someone to help and they failed to fix it. Instead of offering a new lane or a refund, they told us we just had to deal with it. Furthermore, the screen to order food donot work. Arcade: - Can become a BIG money drain because it's card driven not coin -very good prizes compared to my three sons - great games that all work - simulated rides - arcade good for all ages - wish it were a tad bigger but with young kids definitely manageable. Drinks and food: -great strong drinks (we needed that lol) -The pretzels were only thing we had - Food was very expensive but drinks were reasonable in price. Two drinks were the cost of almost over that would be smaller in other bars or resturants. - wait staff was nice. Attentive add best he could be in a crowded place! The worst possible service you could ask for!! Bowling was fun. That's all I can say that's nice. We spoke to five different people and still were not able to get a manager until we found a manager almost an hour later. Our food arrived ice cold. Basically, don't come here hungry. We spent over 300$ tonight and it was a waste of time and MONEY. Our food arrived ice cold and we spent about 80$ on it....We sent back the cold food and we waited over an hour and they still never brought back the food they said they would remake and we never even got our nachos at all. (Even though we paid for them). A normal, regular, establishment would make the customer happy and apologize for the wait and for the poor quality of the food. You should always make the customer happy. Instead, they took off one order of fish tacos and the nachos only from our bill and TOOK THE FOOD AWAY (that was re made because we sent it back) once it came (an hour and a half later). I've been in the business for a long time and this is a complete no. You Never do that. At the very least, comp the meal and apologize that it took so long. We came hungry and are leaving hungry.
