Casondra was awesome! She gave me a fantastic cut and color. She clearly has a lot of experience working with curly hair. I don't always enjoy going to the salon because while I really do like to look good, I don't always have the spoons to deal with it or to bother conforming to beauty standards. It's more like a sometimes thing for me. If I can keep up with haircuts, that's ideal, but if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't. Awesome experience here with Cassandra. She was recommended to me by my previous stylist who moved out of the area. Cassandra was super knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough, and I loved the cut! She's a curly hair specialist with curly hair products. The studio is located upstairs, it's small and super fun/eclectic inside. Marchelle just cut my hair for the first time. I brought along a picture and she thoroughly explained the amount of styling required with the cut. She dry cut my hair, then gave my an awesome shampoo and scalp massage. I wish I could come back for this part every day. Marchelle spent over an hour with me, double checking her work to make sure my cut looked perfect. She taught me to recreate my style at home too. I'm really excited I found Marchelle! I lost my usual stylist a couple of years ago, so I had just been getting trims at strip-mall places, and tried home coloring so my hair was over-long and dried out. She gave me the best cut, color, and style I have ever had. I left minus 5" of dead ends, and the color was perfect. I looked as just as good after my second visit. Love Marchelle! I was so nervous trying a new stylist because they all seem to 'overcut' my hair but not Marchelle! She actually listens and takes her time and if you say 1 inch she really only takes 1 inch! I like it that she is really really precise and takes her time as well which is important to me. Super friendly and she's worth the hour and 15 minute drive from my house.
