I do recommend going here for a piercing but I don't recommend doing any hoop until your piercing is healed because it can effect the tissue in your skin and you don't want to damage anything (just trying to help with an infection as well.). I called to see if he could change the piercing, he didn't return my call, I went to "Stay True Piercing" in Newington and they were astonished by what the piercer at Transcend did to me. Said the method as from 1992. I was in pain with the most uncomfortable piercing. transcend may be good for,tattoos, but go to a reputable piercer. do NOT go here.

It smelled nice and everything was clean. The art was tasteful. They sterilized everything and showed us the chemical strip that showed that everything was sterilized. Nicholas was warm and kind and answered all my questions. I was shocked at how painless my septum piercing went; I wanted to add on a service but got scared. Because of all this communication was limited to email and occasional phone calls. Sounds stressful right? NOPE! Ashley (who is the shop owner/badass btw) made everything stress-free with drawn ideas sent back and forth to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We all got the same basic brontosaurus stencil and then some of us jazzed it up to our own personal style or taste. Last day of camp finally comes and we arrive early. Ashley is finishing up another client, but one of her other artists, Will, is there and is able to start a few of us. I have to say, you would have never guessed that we never met Ashley or Will....We were hanging out and talking like we were all the best friends. Everyone's tattoo came out AMAZING!!!!! When I tell you it is 1000% exactly what we wanted I'm not even kidding. The line detail on everyone's is spot on. I had mine done with watercolor with blue and green and it came out better than I had dreamed. The strokes of color mimic the visual I had in my mind PERFECTLY. All my friends' tattoos came out how they wanted as well. We were the shops last clients for the night and we closed up shop. I follow the shop on instagram and I see that they do a lot of community work and fundraising as well which is very important to me. Also, WOMAN OWNED SHOP. HELLO!!!! Also payment is easy as hell. They accept Venmo and CashApp as well so you can forget your wallet and still have a sick tattoo. I unfortunately don't live in CT otherwise I would be back more often, but I'm there once a year and it looks like it is gonna be a tradition I'm willing to travel for. Due to her (well deserved) popularity the appointment was a ways out but it was well worth it. She works so fast and efficiently and is a delight to chat with.
