I have been a client for yearssss and I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by many artists there. You are never "Pawned" on a lesser artist. Everyone that works there is Stellar. Jim and Tracey want nothing but the best for their clients. I appreciate that they are willing to let their other artists take on clientele if they can't be fit into their own schedules. They would never force anyone to get a tattoo with someone else, only offer the choice. No matter who you go to there, you will come out with an amazing piece of art. In fact, I'm going again on Wednesday. I will only go to Lucky Soul and I told my kids they can get tattoos but they have to be done there.

I felt insulted and told them I don't want them to tattoo me anymore. I'd rather go without the tattoo than be tattooed by someone I don't trust. PS I got a tattoo from Lucky Soul tattoo 11 years ago and they did not operate the way they operate now. Their customer service and frankly respect for their customers has gone down the toilet. PSS 11 years ago when I requested an "in demand artist", I had no problem getting an appointment and I was NEVER pawned off on another artist. This place has such "good" artists (in that they CLAIM they're such good artists) that they think they can treat the customer like cr*p and that we will keep coming back for more. Disgusting. Disreputable. This is NOT how you do business!!!

It smelled nice and everything was clean. The art was tasteful. They sterilized everything and showed us the chemical strip that showed that everything was sterilized. Nicholas was warm and kind and answered all my questions. I was shocked at how painless my septum piercing went; I wanted to add on a service but got scared. The whole place was tastefully decorated with Angel's artwork (more on him later). Next, the receptionist (I'm kicking myself for not catching her name) was absolutely lovely. She was very kind and accommodating. When she learned it was my first tattoo, she explained exactly what to expect and reassured me that I was in good hands. We had a pleasant conversation until Angel was ready to take me back. When Angel escorted me back to the private tattoo room, the positive notes from the reception area continued. Everything was very clean and Angel explained each step of the process, even telling me exactly where he was going to rest his arm while he worked. I watched him set out his equipment and, again, he kept things clean and remained kind. The tattoo itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's a small lotus flower tucked behind my ear. I was completely blown away by the level of detail he was able to achieve with such a small design. The shading is exquisite and he added his own touch to the design that I had provided. It's perfect! So, if you're looking for a location to get a tattoo, big or small, Guardian Art Gallery is the place to go and Angel is the best man for the job. I do recommend going here for a piercing but I don't recommend doing any hoop until your piercing is healed because it can effect the tissue in your skin and you don't want to damage anything (just trying to help with an infection as well.). I called to see if he could change the piercing, he didn't return my call, I went to "Stay True Piercing" in Newington and they were astonished by what the piercer at Transcend did to me. Said the method as from 1992. I was in pain with the most uncomfortable piercing. transcend may be good for,tattoos, but go to a reputable piercer. do NOT go here.
