​I visited Darkside Window Tinting because my dealership specifically recommended them as the third-party company they use for their own vehicles. Since I just bought a new 2026 SUV, my salesperson suggested that maybe mentioning the referral could lead to a discount; however, when I brought it up, the staff simply laughed at me and stated a discount only applied if paying in cash. Ok. So I paid in cash and left, but the "one and done" job turned into a frustrating, weeks-long ordeal. ​Despite following all curing instructions, I had to return three separate times at 8:00am to fix installation errors. Second week/trip: The significant bubbling on both front windows. When I returned, the staff blamed the vehicle's design rather than their own poor application. ​Third week/trip: After the first fix, I discovered severe wrinkles on the rear driver-side window, requiring yet another trip. ​To add, Communication: The shop is extremely difficult to reach by phone; I called multiple times over several days with no answer, forcing me to drive down in-person. You leave a voicemail, they don't call you back. ​While they reapplied the film at no charge, the lack of quality control and the wasted time/gas were unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle. I have already notified my car salesman of these issues and advised him to stop recommending this shop to their customers. They didn't apologize once for the inconvenience or do a full check of all the windows to make sure they were acceptable in the eyes of a professional. I would suggest looking elsewhere for more reliable craftsmanship and professionalism. read more

Business website said opens at 8 am called got a quote and made appointment. Get there at 10 am and nobody there, no sign. Called left message and got a call right back down the street be there in a few minutes. So I waited, they get there and when I get into their office never said anything about not being open ( 1st red flag) just discussed which tint color I wanted and again quoted me another price so felt like batit and switch move (2nd red flag). I would not recommend because my driver side tint started to peel from the bottom after 2 weeks. Brought it back and they said they're tint never peels and will charge me to redo it . Thanks! now I know why they called them the dark side. read more

Brought my '22 M3 and paid for their best tint. $642. Every window but one small side window had trash in it. The color was also purple. During removal the manager didn't want to give me a full refund. Was argumentative and just walked away as I was talking. Finally after walking in the garage he agreed to removal and full refund. They said they refunded me. That was done on Aug 29th. Still no refund to this day. Doesn't surprise me. Stay away these guys are a rip off! read more

Poor workmanship I've called 3x and sent them photos to give them the chance to address the issue. They have not responded. I was told it would take about a hour when I set the appointment and it was closing when I called to check on the status. The guy said they where having issues with the back window but it was ready. After researching on this site, I call the company on 6/11/20 to take an appointment for tinting about 6 windows at my house. Even though the business closed at 5 PM, the operator assured me that someone will come to my house between 5-5:30 PM to provide a free estimate. No one came, no one bothered to call. The day after, I called to find out what happened and casually the operator stated: "Oh, we ended working late last night, can we reschedule ?". No apologies were offered. This is not a way to conduct business. No customer service provided. Potential client's time is valuable ! Of course, I will not take a chance to reschedule and do not recommend this company ! read more
