It was so great, I decided then that I'd go back the next time I needed a trim - and it was the best decision I've made about my hair and my eyebrows since the early 2000's when I decided to stop perming my hair Today (August) I went in for an eyebrow wax and a trim. Eric N (I made an appointment with him, and absolutely recommend him - I'm pretty sure he's the manager) once again took great care of me. If he didn't remember me from my previous visit, he certainly faked it well! He was conversational, listened to what I wanted, and didn't get pushy with products. The eyebrow wax was literally the best I've had in years - I didn't know my brows could look so good! He kept the shape and fullness I had, which I asked him to do, but cleaned everything up so nicely. Thanks for a great experience!

I have been trying out different hair salons in Duluth for years. I've been wanting to cut my hair…read moreshort for around 5 of those years. My experience was always the same, I'd show my stylist some photos of things I wanted or say what I wanted, and the stylist would always choose the longest cut or convince me to keep it "long enough to tuck behind my ears". Well, this place was different. Megan Youngren gave me the best haircut I've had in a long time. She actually listened to my input, discussed with me how the style would look on me vs the pictures, and showed me how to style it afterwards! No next week hair flops for me! She also waxed my eyebrows, and they were mostly well done, but I think she went a little too thin on one spot. The staff is very friendly. Aside from my own conversation, I heard almost every other client having lively discussion with their stylists. Overall, this was the best experience I've had at a hair salon, and my hair looks great!

I can't believe this is the first review for this place! Well, actually maybe I can. I had no idea…read morethey existed until my mom/aunt/cousin all told me it was awesome....but they've been around for 4 years, so I thought it must just be that I was really unobservant (and I didn't live in the area). I got a great cut here. I have really thick, curly hair. Even though I requested a straight style cut, she made sure that it would still look good if I wore it curly, which I didn't ask for, but I reaaaally appreciate! I asked her some product questions, and she recommended some products that she doesn't even sell! So I knew I could really take her advice. Two reasons it gets four instead of five stars: When she was done, I asked her to make my bangs just a little shorter, and she took off about 1/2 an inch, when I was thinking more like 1/4 inch. So they were a little awkwardly short, but it's partly my fault for not being really specific. The second reason is because the location is not super beautiful. It's defintely nice, but it doesn't feel like a luxury. But I suppose that is maybe why the haircuts are only $30!
