Darlish ice cream with 3 locations in London. They focus on premium ice cream with Middle Eastern flavors. Some of my favorite ice cream. I went to the Convent Garden location and had a 2 scoops - one of the Saffron, Pistachio & Rose, and one of the Orange Blossom & Rose. I'm a sucker for Middle Eastern & floral flavors in ice cream. The ice cream is super creamy, and the flavors are perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. I can taste the saffron, rose & orange blossom, but they enrich the ice cream instead of being too light or too floral. I'm not an ice cream person, and I pretty much ate the entire thing on a street corner in Convent Garden, while people passing by gawked a little at an adult woman enjoying ice cream with wild abandon by herself. I think they stared a lot cause I looked so HAPPY. Anyways, def a must try in my book if you are over there. Do go for the interesting flavors, there's kinda no point in going to a place like this and trying their vanilla flavor! IG: teaandcc

I find that many places in Leicester Square and Convent Garden are over hyped, but this is one of the better ice creams I've tasted recently! Darlish serves Persian ice cream and the flavors are pretty interesting. So far I've tried the Saffron, Rose & Pistachio and the Sweet Cream & Sour Cherry and they were both really yummy! They generally taste really creamy without being overly sweet. They also seem to be known for their baklava ice cream sandwich and cool toppings so I'll be back for more this summer.

The pistachio ice cream was not bad and cone was pretty horrible though. Overall, it was okay not recommended to try and i myself would not come back again. Cheers! Not worth £4 because of the bad cone but anyway cheers maybe other people like it but i dont just being honest a hard to please person here.

It is described as soft serve ice cream, oat crumble, and apple cinnamon stew. I love apple pie and ice cream and I saw potential for a nice treat. The girl behind the counter said she was willing to take my order if it is something simple. She was ok with making an applesolutely for me. Ohh it was so delicious as I walked off in bliss. It was just short of an actual apple pie slice stuffed in a cup of ice cream. The sweetness and the spices there had the apple stew flavor just right. It's hard to find good apple pie or apple desserts with good flavors that's reminiscent of grandma's apple pie. The ratio of apple filling to ice cream was even perfect. My sister sampled it and was at the counter 5 minutes later and the same girl was nice enough to make her one! It's a shame that sometimes you find the best foods far away from home.

Located in a small shop at the…read morecorner of Brick Lane and Bacon St. (just to add to its appeal), the vintage feel jives with the overall ambiance of the Brick Lane experience. But inside this shop is an experience all its own. Those of us well into our adult years will still get that proverbial "kid in a candy store" sense when walking into a place like this. The immediate reaction is "I'll take one of everything". The number of choices and sheer number of chocolates displayed in a confined space are both exhilarating and overwhelming at the same time. It was clear from the choices that this was a true artisan shop. In an act of fiscal and dietary restraint, we took away a half-dozen pieces. My wife always compares chocolatiers using their Chocolate Orange Peels (Chocolate Orangettes is what they called them at this place) as a benchmark. This place passed with flying colors. They also offered an intriguing Mango-infused Dark Chocolate with a pipet of Mango compote that you could inject before eating. It was also a highlight. The prices are fair for what this place is and the service is friendly, polite and efficient. If you are meandering up and down Brick Lane, this establishment is worth a stop. If you are a Chocolate fan, then this place is a must-stop. I guess there are people out there who are not chocolate lovers (or at least likers), but that is like not being a fan of oxygen from my perspective. I would like to stop again sometime to try one of the chocolate drinks. We opted to not get one this time on top of the candy pieces we bought to avoid the sugar overload. But they looked amazing from what I saw of others who did indulge.

To our surprise we walked past this unique cronut / donut spot, and my foodie senses started to take over. We strolled in to a pleasant aroma of sweetness! The cronuts in the case looked absolutely stunning so our group decided to try a few and share. We indulged in the Nutella, Yum Yum, Zebra, and the Oreo Dough. All were scrumptious, slightly dense, and extremely filling! Definitely plan to share as one of these bad boys can easily be plenty for 2 people. That being said, the leftovers came home with us...so I'm not complaining. The fellas behind the counter were very friendly and answered all our questions. They also serve ice cream, but I had no room to partake on this visit. Needless to say, don't be a Dum Dum...go try this Donutterie!

I went in close to 1pm on a Thursday and they were already sold out of many flavors. I got the Almond & Pistachio Cro and it did not disappoint; fragrant, toasty almond cream centered in between layers of the flaky dough, dusted with sugar all over, topped with icing, and perfectly decorated with pistachios. The cream was more like a paste but the sweet almond flavor was very nice. Super heavy and good as a breakfast or snack if you're looking for something filling. £3.50 was not a bad price to pay, although it equates to the $5 USD it costs at the overly-hyped Dominique Ansel Bakery. Easy to miss as it is very small, but it's located a few shops next to the Shoreditch Station, on the bottom floor of Boxpark, which is filled with gimmicky Instagram-worthy food. I'd say to give this place a try if you aren't sure about Dominique Ansel, which sells their cronuts for only £0.50 more, but overrated, IMO.
