The closing process itself went smoothly, but the real test of a title company is how they handle issues after closing. Unfortunately, that is where my experience completely fell apart. Since closing, I have had to deal with underpaid utility balances, a lien issue that was not properly addressed, and repeated attempts to obtain documentation and answers. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication. Emails and requests for updates often went unanswered, and resolving these issues has required far more time and effort than it should have. It has now been over two months, and I am still seeking confirmation regarding matters that should have been addressed promptly. As a customer, I expected responsiveness, accountability, and assistance in resolving post-closing issues. That has not been my experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to consider a title company that provides reliable support both during and after closing. The transaction doesn't end on signing day, and customers deserve assistance when problems arise afterward.
