Lindsey Wolff insisted on payment in full in advance, then did not follow through with turning over…read morethe wedding photos for half a year! She is personable and takes good photos, but has a pattern of failure to keep promises and failure to respond to attempts to contact her. My daughter was married on 5/17/17. My daughter was told she would get a USB with all the wedding photos, as well as the option of ordering prints through Lindsey Wolff's website, and that she would get a "sneak peek" of photos in a couple weeks. Well, no sneak peek arrived despite polite inquiries. Photos were eventually posted on line, but could not be downloaded for six months, and no USB ever arrived. Lindsey claimed it was mailed, but did not replace it ever. We were unable to print photos from the on line photo gallery until a few days under six months after the wedding, despite intense frequent requests by me (the mother of the bride) and my daughter (the bride.) The newspaper will not print marriage announcements after six months, and we barely got a digital photo in time to have it printed. Even when Lindsey claimed she had fixed the website so we could download photos from that, it turned out she had not completed the download on her end. In despair after over five months with NO wedding photos at all I ordered $130 in prints on line from Lindsey Wolff, hoping that we would at least get physical prints even if we never got the digital photos. It has been two months and no photos have arrived despite several reminders sent to Wolff. I have requested my money be refunded. Based on Lindsey Wolff's past behavior I suspect I will be suing her in small claims court. I can not convey how frustrating, time consuming, emotionally draining, and difficult this experience has been. Lindsey has given excuses, but if she has had difficulty dealing with he deaths of two people close to her family many months ago, to the point she can not handle her business by now, then maybe she needs to stop taking on new photography assignments and just finish up her unfulfilled contracts for now. I have also read of Lindsey Wolff treating other customers this was on other review sites. I can not recommend this photographer.

Josh knocked it out of the park! They showed up early, kept everything for cocktail hour and dinner right on schedule and service was just perfection. It was also his first time working at our venue, but everything was just seamless and that's a true testament to his skill/ability and his staff. Our guests raved about how good the food was (the mashed potatoes 10/10), my husband and I had our ribeye option and a sample of our pasta option and it was amazing! While the bridal party was taking photos, there was a cocktail hour with passed hits d'oeuvres. I tried the Mini Lump Crab Cakes with Sriracha Mayonnaise, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Mediterranean Chopped Salad with Kalamata Olives, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Red Onion, & Feta Cheese, and Balsamic Marinated Hanger Steak with Caramelized Onions, Sriracha Cream Cheese on Baguette. All of them were very yummy, but the hanger steak and chopped salads were the stars of the show. Inside the Peninsula Room, there was plenty of room for dining and dancing. Everyone was given the cherry pecan salad to start, and it was amazing. The wedding meal options were Grilled Whole Filet Mignon with Red Wine Reduction, Pan Roasted Slow Cooked Chicken Breast with Morel Chicken Jus, and Herb Crusted Whitefish with Citrus Vinaigrette. I had a taste of all of them, while they were all very good, the filet mignon was outstanding. The reception lasted until midnight. Around 10pm, pizzas were brought over from Jolly Pumpkin brewery next door, which was a much-appreciated tasty treat after a long night of enjoying the open bar. Service was outstanding. There was a server named Andrew who was extremely helpful and attentive. I didn't catch the bartender's name, but she was great too. If you're going to plan a beautiful, memorable Pure Michigan wedding experience, I highly recommend looking into seeing if The Peninsula Room fits your needs and price range.
