Hired this contractor to install a new wood floor downstairs due to a…read moreleak from a pipe that ruined the prior floor. During the installation of the new floor another pipe busted causing water damage. The contractor only ripped up a portion of the new floor for replacement. Two new contractors have run moisture tests showing moisture underneath the floor that was not ripped up. Both contractors agree that moisture has moved throughout the downstairs causing the damage. The contractor for Luxury Wood and Stairs also stated the sealant used was not high traffic sealant causing further damage. The new floor appeared well done. Over the next two years multiple boards became uneven and separated from other boards. I contacted Frank, who I believe is the owner of the company, nothing short of 15 times. He always forwarded me to his floor manager Mo. Mo never returned my texts and calls to discuss what appeared to be faulty workmanship. Finally after roughly 30 months Mo and Frank evaluated the floor. They agreed to repair the floor but asked we give them a few weeks to get it on the schedule. Frank sent a long email outlining what they planned on doing. This is the last I have heard from Frank. Clearly we should not be having issues with a floor that is 2 to 3 years old. I strongly suggest you do not use this company.

This time it hurts. This was his second chance. On 7/22/25 we called Michael Fletcher with The…read moreHandyman's Daddy to repair our sprinkler system. He was contracted to repair leaks on Station 2 and 6 as well as change 10 heads on Station 2-11. Mr. Fletcher came out and worked for a couple of hours and let us know the job was complete. I paid the invoice for $475. Throughout the night of 7/22/25 a leak of 4,608 gallons of water happened. He came back and changed the solenoids he had replaced. He said it was dark. The next morning the sprinklers we disabled came on automatically. I called Mike. 3rd visit! Now everything was fixed, right? On Aug.4, 2025 I woke up to a tremendous water leak again, this time it was 6,109 gallons of water used overnight. Contacted Mr. Fletcher again to let him know this was too much, water was still leaking, and I needed him to come and take care of this issue or refund half my money and pay for my water bill from the 2 leaks. He proceeded to state that he had done me enough favors. That he was contracted to work on Station 6. But actually he was contracted to change or cap heads on all the stations. See invoice. Mr. Fletcher is very unprofessional and unreliable. 13k gallons of Wastewater later. Do not Waste your time or money for this guy.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Gregory late 2017.  We had existing plans drawn up for a…read moresecond-story addition.  Gregory was working on a project close by, and we got his contact information from the sign.  We gathered three bids. His bid was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive, but we went with him because of his calm demeanor, professional presentation, and no high-pressure sale.  It was an extensive project, so we moved out of the house during the construction.  Since we were out of the house, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity. We ended up gutting almost the entire lower level. Essentially Gregory built a new house, we went from approximately 2500 ft.² to approximately 4500 ft.². The project was not without its challenges as every person will tell you that has ever had significant construction, there are always problems, the difference is in how the contractor handles adversity. This is where his calm demeanor came to be quite reassuring.  We did have quite a few issues with rain getting into the construction area.
