These guys are great. The owner and the team are hard workers and are committed to doing a great job and ensuring customer satisfaction. I wanted a completely new sprinkler system installed. The team installed the system rapidly and worked with the city on the permitting and inspection. They held great attitudes every step of the way, and made modifications the city inspector requested (the city can get a little fickle with what they want, and appears to be a disconnect between the staff who permits vs inspects the final system). Now I am able to apply for the ET controller exemption with the city, which was the end goal of having these installed. We were quoted $5,500 to remove stumps, lay new sod and install sprinkler system. We paid him $1,000 up front to buy the necessay supplies. He started as agreed and worked on the yard for several days. on the last day he requested additional $1,000 to buy the rest of the sod. He always wanted a check written out to him and not the company. My wife thought he was done and paid him the remaining amount. The next day we noticed there were a lot of issues. 1. Some of the sprinklers did not work 2. There were areas that he did not install sprinklers 3. The grass was dying in some areas 4. The grass was to high along the house and externinator could not spray 5. We found a stump that was hidden by the workers 6. The grass was not level and looked bad We have been trying for weeks for him to come out to fix these issues but he never has time. He never calls us back. Hopefully Angie's List can contact him and make sure he resolves these problems. Final review: alot of the sod he planted died because his sprinkler system didn't work and he did not respond to our calls. We had water standing in our side yard despite the sprinklers being off and 105 degrees outside. My wife got their name from Angie's list, where I am going to also post this. I called them and they made an appt to come out the next AM, which they did and were on time. The man said he needed to turn off the water to the sprinklers and come back in 2 days, since there was too much water for him to work. I thought that is just great, they are going to charge me twice, but I was wrong. He said there was no charge for the first day. I was there 2 days later and it was Nelson who came out. After digging around a while, he said that the PVC was broken and the valve was fine. He then wanted to check and make sure all the sprinlers worked before he left. The price I was charged was less than quotes from the competition and he took my credit card. He could have easily charged me more and told me that he replaced the valve, but he was honest. After I paid, I told Nelson that I did not know where the cut-off valve was for the sprinklers. Nelson not only showed me where it was, he went to his truck to get some pliers and showed me how to turn it on and off. I would certainly use them again! read more
