Absolutely the worst insurance agency with zero integrity. Only care when signing you up for new insurance. Trying to get answers on claims is impossible and refuses to provide management or Agents information to find out why claim is not being for customer. Office does not return calls and is very unprofessional. Pick another Insurance company. read more

The commercial agent sent a generic email asking for information. No phone call...no follow up. No personable communication. Reached out AGAIN through another agent. Commercial person NEVER called me. Going elsewhere for my policy. And I do have my home & car policies through yall. Very disappointed in the commercial side. Losing my business there. read more

They have a policy that no other insurer I've worked with enforces -- they upcharge customers based on who they live with, not who actually drives the vehicle. It's a dishonest and profit-driven tactic that punishes paying customers for things completely unrelated to their driving risk. What makes it worse is how they intentionally delay taking action when you try to provide the documentation they request. They give the impression that if you do your part, your policy will be corrected -- but it absolutely won't. They drag their feet, avoid processing requests, and make the situation worse. Customer service is just as bad. When I tried to escalate the issue to a manager, I was flat-out denied, even though Direct Auto was attempting to add hundreds of dollars to my monthly payment. Refusing escalation when people's real financial situations are at stake is unacceptable and unprofessional. This company plays with people's lives and budgets for profit, and the lack of transparency, accountability, and basic ethics is alarming. I would not recommend Direct Auto Insurance to anyone who wants fair treatment or honest business practices.

Paid off two trucks in full over 6 months ago. Asked to close out my accounts upon doing so & they…read moreassured me I would have my titles in 3-4 weeks. Still have yet to receive either title. When I called to ask about it they informed me that due to me not having a minimum of $25 in my accounts that were "supposed" to be closed they decided to hold 60k in truck titles that were 100% paid for. I was never contacted via phone or mail about this issue. I had verified when I was there today that they had my correct address and phone number to where they could have contacted me but failed to do so. The employee I spoke to informed me that I could schedule an appt with the DMV and go pay to get copies of the titles. After making it very clear that I was not happy with the service or lack there of I was finally offered for them to mail them out with a timeline of 3-6 weeks.
