Dr. Combs is the best dentist that I ever had - and I had many to deal with my problematic teeth! His expertise is extensive- starting with routine dental treatments and all the way to very complex cases - implants, crowns, etc. My daughter had multiple dental problems, and Dr. Combs managed to save her teeth. I was a loyal patient but recently there has been a lack of communication with delivering messages to the Dr. Darrin Combs and getting back to me. The office lead receptionist has been neglecting my concerns for more dental care and hasn't followed up me after several calls & messages. My last message was a request to speak with Dr. Combs directly and it's been over a week and no response, text, or email yet. I've decided to go somewhere else and it's unfortunate because Dr. Combs does great work and appear to care about his patients. The office staff is the root of this situation and neglectfulness! I had my first year's semi-annual teeth cleaning on Tuesday and a molar extraction on Wednesday. All the procedures went very well with little to no discomfort. I am still (in love) completely satisfied with this office. Friendly and Professional. Two years ago - I was diagnosed with cancer then I needed a tooth to be removed. Implant next. Then a tooth broke and needed a crown. Cancer has been dealt with except now for checkups! Dr Combs and staff were Awesome helping me thru that time and now They are very compassionate. Dr. Combs is a terrific dentist/periodontist and just the nicest guy you'll ever want to meet. Performed 3 separate bone grafts to replace bone my husband had lost. Very successfully. Very nice office, great staff, esp. hygienist Nicole. Dr. Combs moved his office from Broadripple to Zionsville. We have lots of dentists around Broadripple but I prefer to remain his patient. Dr. Combs and his staff are wonderful! I had to have a graft placed on my lower gum line related exposed roots (it was a 2 part procedure) and my dentist told me he's never seen a job this good! He said if he didn't know where the surgery took place he wouldn't of been able to point it out! Not only did Dr. Combs do an amazing job, but he made me feel safe, and well cared for. Horrible office staff.espicially the receptionist and hygenist.They make inappropriate comments about appearance, gossip they have heard about this person or witness at same event they went to making dregatory remarks about patients that you can hear when you sit in the waiting room. I just stared at them for them to know I could hear their inappropriate and unprofessional conversation. I wanted to let the patient know as they went to leave the office. They make gestures and faces at each other about patients when patients have their backs turned them. They continually repeal my reviews but the general public has a right to know how they will be treated when visiting this dentist office. This is not an isolated incident I witness this every visit which is every 6 months and I'm fed up ... I was walking in front of the hygenist towards the desk to check out and the receptionist was making faces and trying to hold back a laugh I turned to look at the hygenist who was waving her arms and making faces I turned back to the receptionist and she was trying to keep a straight face because she knew I was angry - grow up be professional. I am finished with this office disrespectful and unprofessional way they treat their patients! read more
