I went to Dr. Saadat last year to have the wax cleaned out of my ear. -I found him to be uncomfortable and in a rush - not patient in doing what he was doing. -He did not appear to be very gentle. -He said well your ear wax is too firmly packed in your ear. You have to put more solution in your ear and it will soften up and then come back. -I thought the heck with this and went to an urgent care nearby and they flushed out my ear with warm water and patience. It turns out at some point I'm going to need reconstructive surgery for a broken nose, and I may choose him after so many positive reviews for him. But as far as ent goes, he's great. My experience with Santa Clarita ENT was horrible. I was referred there by my GP due an inner ear issue. I was dealing with vertigo and my doctor also thought there was some kind of blockage. I, of course reported these symptoms to the intake people so they knew these were the issues. After waiting 45+ minutes Dr. Saadat came in, gave me a cursory examination, told me he doesn't deal with vertigo and did a slight cleaning of my ear. (Why did they schedule me if they "don't do" vertigo?) It was a waste of my time and money - and the long wait was infuriating. To add insult to injury -- I paid a 25 dollar co-pay and then received another bill for 40.00 more. When I called to dispute or at least get an explanation of this charge, one email and two phone calls were not returned, they simply charged my credit card which they insisted be put on file when I checked in. I will NEVER deal with these people again. read more

I am having pain around my throat and neck for last 6 months. So I went to Santa Clarita ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery Dr. Saadat ENT Specialist. The 1st visit was 6 or 7 months ago. I waited around 45 minutes to an hour. He came with her assistant. He numbed my throat and checked my throat with camera. He said you don't have cancer and gave me Rx Omeprazole. Explained him that I was using Omeprazole for 2 weeks OTC. Now after 6 months, my problem didn't get better, I still have pain in my neck and throat. I Had an appointment today with Dr. Saadat at 3:45PM. Arrived there at 3:30, payed my 40$ copay. At 3:50 an assistant asked me to go inside. At 4:15 his assistant opened the door and asked me what's happen? I said I still have pain in my throat but now both sides. She said you have acids reflux and last time Dr. Gave you Omeprazole.I said I stoped the Rx 2 days after 1st appointment cause my throat got better. She said you had to continue your Rx or see GI Specialist.I told her at least I need a scan just to see if everything's ok. I asked her I am in this office to see Dr. Saadat. It seems I was his last patient of the day and they had to check me as fast as possible. Finally At 4:45PM he came to the room and right away he talk to me about scan. He is a nice guy but he was in such a hurry. It seems his assistant inform him that this patient wants scanner and she didn't want to come with him to the room like 1st time to assist him. So Dr. Saadat checked my throat with tip of camera light for 10 Seconds. The way he checked my throat was like anybody can check it with iPhone back light. He said everything is ok and gave me referrals for imaging lab. At the end front office charged me an extra 129.81$ for camera, but I haven't seen this time any camera even any numbing. It is like you go to a Doctor and you pay your copay and at the end of your visit the front office ask you to pay 100$ because Doctor used a Stethoscope to check your heart. In this case I went to a ENT. So what is the ENT job? Of course checking your ear or Throat or nose. If he check my nose it doesn't mean that they have to charge me an extra 130$. I haven't even received a Rx. I waited 45 minutes for nothing. Today I saw with my own eyes that this office making fraud over PPO patients and playing with patients' life's . If you are patients of this Santa Clarita ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery and had same problem, don't forget to call your insurance and ask for answer. In my case, I'll call Blue Shield of California tomorrow morning to see what Santa Clarita ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery is doing and why did they charge me more than they have to? read more

Dr. Sadaat is like a miracle worker. I had been to the ER at least three times with severe nosebleeds (epistaxis) and no one knew what to do, I just kept being sent home and told to clamp my nose and use a humidifier. I was losing so much blood but felt like I couldn't get much help. I was also terrified of getting any provide done to my nose. But Dr. Sadaat made my experience the best it could be! He was funny, patient, and skilled. I don't think I was the easiest patient to deal with but Dr. Sadaat handled everything like a "G". The whole staff was amazing also! No more epistaxis for me! read more

Did not have a very good experience here. I came to see Dr. Friedman for severe ear aches and echoing in my ear. There's a lot of potential problems but Dr. Friedman had everything so very wrong. He decided to put me on medications before even doing a hearing test, dragging me through medication that made me sick. First I had Eustachian Tube Dysfunction which could have been from inflammation. So here, take these. Nope, didn't work. Maybe it's your jaw? Do you grind your teeth? TMJ? Yeah, take these. Nope. Hm, probably fluid in the ear. Let's take some water pills. Nope. Hm, maybe it's sinuses, here's some steroids and nasal sprays? Nope? Huh. Let's do a CT Scan to rule out everything. Well, that looks fine. And almost $1000 later - Well, I finally said, can we do an audio test? (as a recommendation I got from someone online). Well, we did the test and look at that... The test showed no fluid in the ear. Well, maybe we should've done the audio test first? Okay... So then he says "Oh, well it's probably otosclerosis and unfortunately there's nothing you can do but just keep an eye on it." He obviously just wanted to get me out because he didn't have an answer for me. I have ear aches every single damn day and he's telling me to keep an eye on it? I was just being nice because I wanted to follow through to see what he would come up with but after that visit I said screw it and didn't even want to deal with it. As I got a second opinion from one of the top specialists at UCLA, he told me it doesn't even make sense how he came up with otosclerosis from such little data. In fact, the audio test I did at the new facility was MUCH quieter and had much better equipment. Guess what? My test at the new facility was 100%. My hearing is completely fine, ruling out otosclerosis. Not only that, Dr Friedman said my CT Scan was normal. WRONG. The specialist said I had an obvious amount of swelling in my right nasal area and that needed to be addressed, also. So what did conclude? That my issues were actually caused my TMJ (Friedman's second possible diagnosis) but what friedman failed to do was check my jaw for tenderness and soreness. At UCLA, the pain I was feeling in my jaw was an obvious TMJ issue so I now have to see a specialist for my jaw which coupling with allergy medicine should clear my earaches. I would not recommend this doctor for such advanced issues. If you think you have an ear infection or allergy problems, that's one thing, but he didn't seem to have a clue about eustachian tube dystfunction. My problem with the doctor is as follows. If you aren't 100% and you're not sure about something, refer your patient to a specialist. It's okay if someone knows more than you, but do NOT misdiagnose and drag your patients through a roller coaster of emotions because you can't put your finger on what the issue is. 2 starts because the staff is nice and they let me know in advance what I was paying since I was a cash patient. These doctors are some of the greediest I've encountered in my life. Two different doctors here have suggested surgeries for myself and my husband for issues that were remedied by other doctors without surgery! Dr. Vadapalli is great but unfortunately they haven't trained the front desk to politely and compassionately deal with sick patients. That's a God-given gift perhaps that can't be taught. I've encountered some of the meanest front desk people, it's quite astounding really. I hope the doctors are reading these reviews so they know how off-putting their front line is; I will be finding a new ENT even if I have to drive to LA. My son had throat infection. My family visited this clinic after looking rating at yelp. Dr. Saddat saw my son for literally less than 10 minutes, looks like the guy was in much hurry. In those few minutes he gave 4 medicines to my 12 year old: An antibiotic, nasal spray, Zyrtec and the last one a steroid. First of all it does not make any sense for a doctor to specify 4 medicines in less than 10 minutes. When we went to pick up the steroid, pharmacist explained us the side effects and I got shocked that doctor can be so irresponsible in ignoring those. Looks like this is a money making shop with no ethics. We are never going back to this practice. read more

Front desk personal seems very dull and unfriendly , uncaring. Check in is by ipad and way too many questions, even that takes longer than checking in at any other doctors. Not sure why we have to make appt when they seem to never be able to keep their time. I came here twice, but unless you have nothing else to do all day, this will take up half your day for sure! My husband went to see Dr Saddat. Nice enough DR . We were to have a sleep study done through the office in Palmdale. Scenario: Sleep study at home machine. Action : The Drs are said to bill insurance and are in my network . They use CPT codes that pertained to this study ( billing codes ). These codes in turn get submitted to our health insurance company and happen to be fully covered under our insurance policy. Knowing that our insurance covers pretty much 100 percent of this service, the staff tried to get extra money UP FRONT to the tune of hundreds of dollars. The office staff tried to do this even though they knew patient financial responsibility was ZERO up front cost, except for when the test gets interpreted. The office staff were making false statements claiming deductible etc and trying to confuse a patient and trying to get erroneous up front cost We knew something was wrong and called to get to the bottom of with Drs office . After getting same false story, we were advised to have a 3 way a conversation with our insurance company to solve this billing issue the Drs office tried to tell us our insurance was "lying " to us on what is covered for diagnostic service and to pursue the insurance. I did the 3 way conversation and followed up on our insurance. The insurance company called the the billing dept at Drs office. The insurance explained to billing what was covered under our plan and they should NOT be charging those fees . After that the office staff were scrambling to keep us as a patient We gave them a second chance because surely they would not commit the same problem twice, you'd think ! I need to add we even received a confirmation voicemail stating our billing issues were solved and re confirmed what we were trying to explain to them all along was is correct. Relieved with this resolve, my husband took off work again to go to this second chance appointment, the office staff treated him poorly and were confrontational. This time they were trying to collect for 4 drs visits codes ( copay for office visit ) for a code that allows the pick up a self administered test machine, That code was to be at 100 percent by insurance !!!! You can not bill for a dr visit unless you are seeing the physician! We were floored again and they resorted back to taking advantage of the patient while treating him unprofessionally . The office was now collecting for services not rendered yet, times 4! This situation is not a misunderstanding as they would like to claim , it's shady billing practices at the very least! It needs to stop . They are 100 percent aware of it too. BE WARE , All PPO patients please Know your insurance !!! Most sleep studies are covered under labs and diagnostics most of the time. Again, check with your carrier. I'm wondering how many patients paid these amounts upfront to never really check on what their insurance says their responsibility is? What are they using the money for until you have to beg for it back? What if the patients do not ask for their money back and the company gets an insurance claim as well? I was scheduled three times last week for telemedicine appointment and the office called me three times having to cancel my appointments and Office set me for an appointment on May 26th at 10:30 so I called the office at 10:45 . So I called the office and told them I had a 10:30 and they stated he was running late. I called the office at 12:05 and the office staff said he left for the day? So I assume he was not calling me. I called the office on May 27, 2020 and I said the Doctor Saadat never called me back yesterday? Office staff said they can set me up for telemedicine on May 29,2020 at 10:30 Am. I have had a terrible ear infection for over a month. I went to Facey Medical in the SCV. I have a history of chronic ear infections. They ignored this. I had to get multiple medications from them and visit multiple times...all of this while they knew I had no insurance. The last visit they referred me to an ENT. They wanted me to go to the Facey ENT, I chose Dr. Friedman at Santa Clarita ENT instead. SO GLAD I DID! I was in and out in minutes! He also gave me advice for caring for my ears while the infection was clearing up, something they did not do at Facey. I am an Audio Engineer and my ears are my livelihood! Although Facey knew this they yanked me around, SCV ENT did not do that! Very nice facilities, friendly staff, they will take care of you and make sure you are fully informed!!! Dr. Saadat is laughs. Great comic relief. The kind of guy you feel comfortable with. That is, when you can catch him. He is generally 45-60 minutes late to his appointments. So plan for that. The night before my surgery I had cold feet and he spoke with me at great length to reassure me about the operation. I ended up going through with it and am SO glad I did! The whole procedure went very well. The nurses and staff were so great. He even called me afterwards to check up on me. The only thing is, getting in to see him for a follow up takes forEVER. Bring a good book. A long book. Like, "War and Peace." Because you will be waiting. A very. Long. Time. But he is worth it. read more

I was sick all the time, I had been fighting being sick with tons of antibiotics and finally I was led to Dr. Amoils. What a life saver, I had my tonsils removed and I am so much better. I was 36 years old so the recovery was not fun but Santa Clarita ENT staff was amazing. Everyone was always on top of it, little wait time for office visits, nurses on the phone were amazing also. Dr. Amoils is very kind and followed up right after the surgery with my husband and followed up w a phone call later that day. Thank you so much! But it doesn't stop there, my oldest son had his adenoids and tonsils removed 3 years ago at the age of 4 and my youngest just had the same thing done 2 weeks ago, just shy of 4. Good doctors and Stacy the Physicians Assist is great. What makes this office a nightmare is the office staff and billing procedures. They literally suck the life out of you before you see someone. I was charged unnecessary "deductible" fees. When I questioned the billing gal she was insistent on me paying. Turns out I don't have to pay my deductible!!!! Had they been in-network I would have paid my $30 copay and that's it. First I got a bill for $250 since they are out of network, and I called to question it. Thank God for doctors like Dr. Saadat. He is a truly genuine, caring doctor with excellent clinical acumen. He is a very careful listener and will be direct in his plan and treatment. I'm so saddened with those that feel entitled because they have insurance. Just because one has insurance doesn't mean that you will not have a co-pay or deductible. Yelpers please do not be misdirected by others simply because they had to pay a co-pay or they were out of network. That is a reflection of their insurance not this doctor. Doctor Saadat is a really nice guy but after one septo plasty and one rhino plasty, my breathing is still constricted. He said he was going to reduce the turbinates and he never did because after one year and a half of recovery, I went to another doctor and he said they were never touched. After receiving no lasting results for my chronic nasal issues from another ENT, I was referred to Dr. Friedman by my wife. She has been very happy with his treatment of her condition. From my first appointment I found Dr. Friedman to be pleasant, caring and very thorough. By thorough I don't mean that he up sells you procedures that you don't need. In fact he encourages you to be involved in managing your own health care along with him. Because my condition was pretty bad and after much discussion with Dr. Friedman I made the decision to have surgery. He carefully explained every aspect of the procedure and answered all my questions truthfully. He did a great job and was involved all the way through recovery. By the way, it wasn't too bad. And now that I am recovered I must say that it is life changing. I can breathe great, I sleep much better and best of all, no more sinus infections! They gave me another 5 papers to fill out in the office and one was a request for a credit card to keep on file. "In case the insurance company doesn't pay us or you neglect to pay your copays". WHAT? I have never heard of this. I don't have a credit card so what to do? Well, they will take my debit card info! I don't think so. I have had my identity stolen twice and do not give that info out. It is bad enough that they took my and my husbands social security numbers. What else does a thief need to steal our identities? I have had only GREAT experiences with Santa Clarita ENT. I see Dr. Saadat, who was referred to me by a friend whose nose he repaired after a botched/collapsed rhinoplasty elsewhere. Her nose looks amazing, so that was enough of a recommendation for me! I had severe sinus infections for about 20 years of my life and was very ill during my pregnancy 4+ years ago (almost lost the baby because of it). After I had my son, another doctor wanted to do sinus surgery on me and tried to talk me into rhinoplasty. I was skeptical, so went for a second opinion to Dr. Saadat. He is so kind and listened to all of the problems. He notified me that it was not necessary to do all that the other doctor was trying to do and gave me options. Saadat ended up doing my surgery, and my quality of life is sooooooo much better because of not being sick all of the time and passing it along to my husband and son too. My husband is now getting ready to have his septum fixed and tonsils removed by Dr. Saadat. We have the utmost confidence in the staff at Santa Clarita ENT! read more

My husband was referred to this office for bleeding in his ear. He was told the bleeding in his ear he was 99% sure was cancer he would do a biopsy and all would be fine. It had been two weeks and we heard nothing so thinking that is unusual I call our primary Doctor to see if the referral was even put in and come to find out no not right away and the day I called it go approved. There is no sense of urgency at all. Disappointment #2 My husband had to run an unexpected errand for me before his appointment so I called to say he would be just a couple minutes late right away the office girl Jessica snapped he cant be any more than 15 minutes late. I said I feel bad he is never late which I know upsets him then to boot he has office meetings first thing at work so I asked if there would be a long wait before he gets seen? It is a biopsy. She replied there is no way to know that. When he gets here we will call him in??? You know when it seems someone hates their job! Well this was the feeling I got from this girl and that is a shame. I was as nice as pie and still told her how nice she was, thinking maybe that will ignite some kindness in her! read more

Make sure YOU check if your insurance is valid here. The front desk will tell you anything to get you in. Dr. Saadat is my third ENT (#1 died, #2 moved away) for the same problem (chronic nose bleeds treated by cautery) over the last 35 years. He spent about 10 minutes establishing rapport, 1 minute treating the problem. The bleeds were previously once per day and are now 5 to 8 times daily. On top of that, I'm out of network and was charged $300. read more

I have Cigna insurance. Santa Clarita E.N.T. (Dr. Amoilis and Dr. Saadat) are Cigna insurance network providers however, Santa Clarita E.N.T. informed me that I either had to : 1) provide a credit card that would be placed on file to charge against for any unpaid balance or 2) pay $180 and then wait for reimbursement once Cigna processes the claim. I have never had to provide my credit card or pay such a large amount to be seen by a doctor. My insurance co-pay is $30. When I refused to provide a credit card or pay $180, Santa Clarita, E.N.T. refused to see me so I was not seen by the doctor to treat a sever sinus condition. There should be legislation to prevent doctors from refusing to see a patient when that patient has insurance. I would never recommend Santa Clarita E.N.T. Beware of this doctors office. read more
