I recently called this office in an attempt to establish care with a primary care physician, and…read moreunfortunately, my experience with the front desk representative, Jill, was very disappointing. While I understand being short-staffed can be stressful, I was placed on hold multiple times during the call while Jill repeatedly emphasized that she was working alone and assisting patients in the lobby. Although I tried to remain understanding and patient, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the reason for my visit regarding pre-operative care, I was told that I needed to drop off my pre-op orders before even being able to schedule an appointment. While I was willing to comply, the process seemed unusual and was not clearly explained. What concerned me most was Jill's demeanor when I politely asked for her name and role at the office for my own reference. She appeared offended and questioned why she was "being interviewed." Her response and overall attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a prospective patient. Customer service and professionalism are extremely important in healthcare settings, especially for new patients seeking care. Unfortunately, this interaction left such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable establishing care at this facility.

Doctor Lavi is unprofessional, unreliable, and a liar. My husband was diagnosed with Gout after an…read moreurgent care visit and was indicated to follow up with his primary doctor. During his visit with Dr. Lavi he insisted he get new blood work to confirm his diagnosis yet failed to submit the right order. The office acknowledged their mistake but said the doctor refused to put in the correct order because my husband had been approved to see a podiatrist (for an unrelated issue) so he recommended he have the podiatrist treat him for gout. When I called member service to report him they disclosed the doctor had no notes about gout in his file. He failed to do his job in every way.

We have to give my son this yucky medicine everyday and he was telling my kid the great news that he gets a bowl of his favorite ice cream every time he has to take it. This made my son feel relaxed and now we refer to him as Dr. Icecream .... The medicine is working and we are waiting for insurance approval to do a skin test. I have not had a bad experience with the front desk but it's obvious they are slammed so you just have to push and follow through on your own which isn't a big deal to me. I think this man is great with children and that goes a long way in my book. I also don't think the office was dirty at all. The rooms were small but I'm not trying to move in so I'm okay with that too...

If you are looking for allergy shots and work full-time, or even a part-time job with irregular…read morehours, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Even for a child receiving care, I think it may present a notable magnitude of difficulty to consistently return to clinic. The limited hours at this clinic make it quite difficult to receive allergy shots regularly, only being open during weekdays as above: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. In my mind, this absolutely makes sense for the availability of the physician onsite for consultations or follow-ups, but for the clinic as a whole failing to be more available to simply administer repeat allergy injections, I'm struggling to understand. The care I received was fine, and all the clinicians are pleasant. The physician was swift with the consult, the nurses are quick with administration of treatment, and the front-desk gets the job done. It's worth noting that after an initial consultation and plan to start allergy shots, the shots won't be ready for a significant amount of time. I believe mine were not available until around 5-6 months after my consult. I hope to work out a solution, since I have already paid for the entirety of allergy shots but began working full-time shortly after my treatment was approved. I'll provide an update if we can come to a resolution.
