I was a prior customer, who had several house cleaners in the past year pr twp. One in particular "went on her own," and I'm contacting DofC once again. I have mobility issues, and am home 24/7 living with my 7 year old sweet cat. Aside from general cleaning, there are sever tasks that must be done on a regular basis: empty trash, take rent check to the office, run errands to UPS, Walmart or KP for medications and/or returns (not very often). Inconsistent erratic too many different cleaners. Then when u finally settle down with one they start off good but over time they do a lot less thorough job. Owners should thoroughly train crew. They said they don't. If someone can't come it's just a no show. I run an Airbnb I can't operate with inconsistent attendance. $150 is a lot to pay. They come every other week to clean my house and I can say enough good about the company. Sonia and Sury are the same team that come each time and they get my house clean in a very timely manner. I go have breakfast, take my dog for a walk and by the time I return, my house is super clean and smelling fresh. Plus they are very accommodating about scheduling. This is a huge deal for me. They are flexible. I would recommend them to anyone and indeed I have. They have done work on a family members house as I was preparing it to be rented. And also recommend them to friends who ask. We live out in the redwoods of west Sonoma county, in a small unincorporated town. So it's very hard to find competent service professionals. When our former house cleaner decided to double the price we agreed on without warning, we expected it would be difficult to replace her. Someone we met recommended Dash of Clean, so I gave it a try, expecting to hear that they didn't service our area (most city-based referral agencies won't send people out here...even before gas was $6.50 a gallon). To my shock, they found us a cleaner who would! She was set to do an initial detailed clean, and then come monthly after that. We could add on spring cleaning services like the blinds, the fridge, and the oven whenever we wanted, and they charge for those individually. When we saw the pricing we were happily surprised: the initial clean price was quite reasonable, while the regular monthly clean was almost HALF what we'd been paying before! And the cleaner, Laura, was awesome. She was detailed, reliable, did extra organizing that we didn't even expect or pay for, and was easy to communicate with. She wore a mask like we asked, and used our hypoallergenic products even though they required more elbow grease. We are psyched to expect her back in a month, and every month after that. Pro tip: they give $100 discount off your first cleaning (which is more intensive) if you book a regular cleaning schedule along with it. It can be anywhere from monthly to weekly, and they don't penalize you for the longer intervals. And you can cancel or reschedule if necessary, although they ask you to consider that the cleaners are relying on the income, so giving lots of notice when possible is appreciated. It was a nice touch that they advocate for their cleaners to be treated as people, who rely on their clients for income just like every other self employed person. All in all I give Dash of Clean, and Laura, a well deserved five stars. read more

I needed a professional home cleaner for move out and I was so pleased with the service! The home was mostly empty, and when I walked in it smelled so amazingly fresh and clean. I added extra services of blinds and baseboards which was perfectly done. The rental home is a bit older but I really think it looked better than when we moved in after that clean. We made an appointment for a cleaning about a 5-7days out. I am expecting to give birth this sat/sun, so Friday was the cleaning day. And the day before, Thursday, they needed to cancel because a cleaner hurt her wrist at another job. We were asked if we had any flexibility which we unfortunately do not. They should have more cleaners in their cleaning pool to cover issues like this. Ultimately, we had to hustle around to find another cleaning agency that could do a cleaning the following day at short notice. We weren't offered a discount, or anything for having to cancel. Let me be clear, no one was rude, it's just no one seemed to really care that we had to change our plans because they couldn't backfill a cleaning position. After 2 years of never asking for anything extra and in fact often requesting less than what was contracted for, and dealing with 3 different cleaners in the last 3 months, this company took a one sided approach based on a misunderstanding of their cleaner and terminated their contract with me. The reason given is my house is too small of a job and they can't find a cleaner for it. This is based on their regular hourly rate so what does it matter if it only takes 2 hours? They are young and have no business experience getting both sides of the story. If you want a company that only listens to it's cleaners and doesn't listen to the customer then this is a good choice. read more

Diem the owner is a scaming con artist who will shift all the blame on to you if you attempt to complain. Absolutely sickening business practices here. Diem will misconstrued the situation. I am on a time crunch with no wiggle room in the schedule. She will leave out the deeply unprofessional conduct of the people she contracts, like the fact that they will show up 2&1/2 hours early. They do sub par work and will break and ruin anything you lend them in an attempt to get the job done. She should be ashamed of herself. I have attached a picture of the damage that was done to my rug cleaner that I lent to one of the housekeepers. It is a stationary handheld carpet cleaner. I had Ezmerelda come to my Small Apt. Paid for 3hrs. Got 1 hr. Free at $132.00. I gave her a $30 tip in cash. I check her work after she left. OMG It was Discusting. I have (13 Brain Tumors) also getting MRI tomorrow on knee. Just started with Cane due to instability. Bending has been very Difficult. I told Owner this. Fridge, Oven, Dishes were most important. She took Dirty filthy towels off floor I used & told her were dirty she put on counter & put mostly clean & Dirty dishes on to dry. Oven overhead was not touched nor was under burners. She put dishes on other counter & (Hid) 10 sports glasses ect. behind & in dishwasher some dirty in between clean. I have NEVER been so Disgusted in my Life. 85 percent of job agreed on was not done. Dash of Clean is a referral service which means they are the liaison between the client and the cleaners. It was such a pleasure to communicate with Diem and let her know what my priorities are. She speaks English and can be reached by email or phone. Also important to me is they take credit cards. I have worked with individuals in the past that weren't able to take credit cards and I found that difficult. I know that Diem is keeping notes (because she called me after my service to discuss) on special requests and what is important to me.
