Very pricey. The floors of my townhouse had streaks from their cleaning supplies. The townhouse was very clean already. It just needed a touch up for dust on the chandelier and celing corners. I would have cleaned it myself for the new tenants but I was extremely pressed for time. I paid $850 without windows for a 3 bedroom condo. Too expensive considering the condition of the house. In my opinion, it was at maximum a $550 job with windows inckuded. She showed up late due to traffic. She did not text me until 20 minutes after our scheduled time. I don't like to write negative reviews especially during Covid. However, I feel the need to especially since I chose this company based on good reviews. Maybe it was an off day? My house is 1700 square feet. We are preparing for pictures to sell our home and scheduled a DEEP Clean. We were charged $550 for 2 hours of 2-3people cleaning!!! Do the math! For that price and that quickly done I expect a really good job. What I got was a normal clean at at crazy price. The floors in almost every room still had dirt in the corners. The bathroom cabinet had dirt along the seems . Some of the were not cleaned to the edge. My shower still had soap on the floor board and she said maybe it's scratched. I scrubbed it off myself. The dinning room table had dirt under it and a pencil mark from my kid that easily washed off, meaning none even put a mop there. Not every table was cleaned except for the top. The blinds were just dusted, no wet cloth. The rug was still visibly not vacuumed in a few parts. The faucet in my kitchen was not scrubbed behind and dirty. Her mop kept leaving pieces around the house and then she swept them onto my porch. It seems like scrubbing was not included in that price. Also when I had a deep clean with Luz cleaning they always included baseboards, not this company. I'd give 1 start except that the owner tried to make it right and really wanted me to me happy. She spent 45 min going around with me pointing things out and she was very kind about fixing them. Eventually I just wanted her out of my house. I shouldn't need to point anything out. Meanwhile her workers stayed outside while she fixed all the mistakes. Lastly I left for a min and came back in to one worker with her mask pulled down. Hopefully it just fell off. read more

5 stars for the cleaning - 2 stars for the price/value. I was looking for a housekeeping service to be a regular service but none of my friend's recommended housekeepers had openings. Went to Yelp and contacted Ana Rosa's. The actual owner, Ana, called me back, which is always a good start. She said she is always present at every job doing the cleaning, another good start. I have a 3bd/2bath 1400 sq ft house. She quoted me $500-$600 for the first "deep cleaning" (depending on the condition of the house) and then $250 for every 2 weeks. The only other non-"chain" cleaner on Yelp was a little cheaper but didn't respond right away. Also, my wife cleans our house weekly and we figured that it would surely be closer to the $500 mark. We went with Ana Rosa's. She had an open schedule and we made a plan for Wed for 1230-1. Around 1pm she wasn't there and I texted her. She called me back shortly after and said she had some car trouble out at the coast and couldn't make it and didn't have service earlier to let me know. This was very inconvenient as my wife scheduled the afternoon to make herself available and at home, but I understand these things happen. She was able to come the next morning, so that was a decent save. (I'll just trust that the scheduling issue was really due to car issues.) When she showed up, she checked out the house. She then asked me if I wanted the (inside) windows cleaned. I was a little surprised since I had assumed that was part of a pretty pricey "deep cleaning" that we hired her for. I asked how much it would cost and she quoted me at $150 extra.... I felt like I was getting taken advantage of at that point and declined that service. (To her credit, she did ultimately clean the windows in the kitchen and back slider door "no charge".) Anyway, there were 2 cleaners (including her) and they cleaned the house for approx 2.75 hours. So 5.5 hours of labor. I thought for sure that we'd be at $500. Again, the bathrooms had been cleaned and the house vacuumed no more than a week prior, and just a few dishes were left to do. (no laundry done etc) When it was time to pay I asked her how much and without hesitation she said $600. I was surprised, but it was within the original quote, so I paid it, but it definitely felt like I was being overcharged. My wife and I both wondered what the condition of the house must have been required to come in at $500. That being said, the house looked great. It was what we were hoping for when we hired a cleaning service. We were interested in retained her services and I asked her how much it would be for her to come every 3 weeks, since the original quote of $250 every 2 weeks was out of our budget. We also figured that since she now saw how clean and maintained we kept the house, the price would go down. She quoted me at $300 for every 3 weeks. (I followed up with my friends who have house cleaners and they all laughed. My friend in Marin who has the same sized house pays $110 for every 2 weeks, his friend who has a "mansion" pays $225 (for every week though). Our Santa Rosa friends with bigger houses pay much less as well... We just couldn't justify the cost per hour (it is much higher than my wife makes per hour, so the math doesn't work out.) If her prices were comparable to other house cleaning services, I would absolutely recommend her cleaning services. If money is not an issue and you need good cleaning done, I recommend her. If you are looking for value, I'd look elsewhere. read more

I needed special assistance with cleaning a senior's living space that had gotten an overpowering bad smell and she swept through removing all sources. She even found some spots that I was unaware of. Considering the incredibly unpleasant task at hand and the distance required to travel, the cost of service felt appropriate. We hired Ana Rosa Cleaners to clean our new to us house to move into. We did not realize what a poor job they did until we moved in. After paying $775 for house cleaning of a 1,400 sf house I expect significantly better. I used to house clean for a living and received way less money than that for way more quality! They had as much time as they wanted and didn't even need to clean the stove or fridge because we are getting new ones. (Please note I reached out to her first before posting and never received a response) 1. The cabinets were not even vacuumed much less wiped down and were still disgusting. Refer to the photo of uncleaned cabinets. The last thing we wanted to do when moving in is clean everything before we could unpack! 2. Surfaces at best were wiped but not scrubbed including but not limited to kitchen counter, around kitchen sink, bathroom tiles, glass sliding door (handles were dirty, glass was dirty), cabinet faces (even ones I pointed out), and more. If I can gently scrape at something with my nail and it comes off, that's not clean. You can see a before and after example of just 60 seconds of scrubbing the scuff marks on the kitchen sink and a photo of the dirt on the sliding glass door. 3. Less important but still annoying was the owner failed to give us a heads up that something came up on her end and her crew was going to be 2 hours late. I had to reach out and see why she wasn't there after the time they were supposed to start. My only guess is all the other 5 star reviews are because the owner was present for quality control (for example there was a huge patch of mold I spotted right away and she fixed it during a quick walk through). Unfortunately she was not available to oversee her crew on the day they came. Either way, we got royally ripped off and she should get better workers. :[ Edit 1/12/2021: The owner of the company reached out and informed me she overcharged me by nearly double and promptly cashed our check and ceased communication. She stated we lied about the cost, but if that was so then she should not have cashed our check and defrauded us (we verbally confirmed the price three times so she is in fact lying). UPDATE: In response to Ana Rosa's comment, from our very first conversation and upon arrival, I told her it was a PARTIAL clean of the house, it was not the full 7000sq/ft. And although they were there for a bit over an hour, the first several minutes Ana Rosa surveyed the space and kept increasing her quote for things like wiping down kitchen counters, cleaning bathrooms, etc so they only cleaned for 45min - I timed it - and it was only vacuuming and moping, NOTHING ELSE. Was recommended by our Real Estate Agent. Although the house was clean when they finished, they are overpriced. Charged over $140/h (doubt they split it evenly). When you ask if they used petsafe chemicals they always say yes, but really don't know what that means. We had to air out our whole house for 4 days so we would not kill the bird. Kitchen/laundry floor wasn't that dirty that they add to do it 4 times. They left trash outside that I found 3 days later. Many walls were scuffed. Unbelievable- granted my house was a mess but I asked for kitchen and bathrooms . She stacked my husband' s antiques in a giant pile , put all my office stuff outside ! Took some jackets that were on the banister and threw them at the top of the stairs. She was not willing to make an estimate or give me any clue about her charges without coming out first. The next time it took her 45 minutes to find my apartment - which is in a well marked complex. She couldn't figure out how to use the directory at the door. It's not hard many others have had no problem. When she came in she started talking about deep cleaning and how they would get all the cobwebs and dog hair etc. We have NO cobwebs and no dog. If she had really looked she would have seen the cat.
