Extremely disappointed! This company is a scam! ZERO stars! My husband and I closed on our house in December 2022. We decided to move into our home at the end of January 2023, so we could have some updates completed. The previous owner of our home lived between two houses while selling ours, ours not being her main home. We decided to hire a cleaning company, being as I am currently 3 months pregnant, and have a one year old, and two teenagers. I used Yelp project to search for a cleaning company for a "Move In, Move Out" cleaning. Amanda's company was one of the 10 companies contacted. In the requested, I provided the number of rooms and bathrooms, and noted the previous owner had dogs. Amanda responded, stating, "We handle move in cleanings often and specialize in deep cleaning. We go over baseboards doors, windows inside, blinds - kitchen cabinets etc." She informed me that she works with wineries and short term rental properties, so our home wouldn't be a problem. She stated her price range for a home my size, 2,800 sq ft, was between $500-$650. She seemed legit, so I scheduled for her to clean our home January 28th. We settled on a price we both agreed to. She stated she would work from 7am, and it would take her and her assistance 6 hours. I asked her if we could switch the appointment to Thursday, January 26th because all of the repairs in our home were completed early, and we wanted to move in asap. Amanda did not have a problem switching days, but boy, am I glad we did. My husband met with Amanda and her assistant Thursday morning at 7:00am. He walked her through the completely empty house. When he came home, he expressed concern because Amanda stated our home was much bigger than what she expected. An hour and a half later, Amanda request for me to call her, and stated that she would not be able to clean our home for the original price she provided, and said she had to add on an additional $125. Though we were not pleased, my husband and I said ok. We had no one else at this point and we just wanted our home cleaned. About 4 hours later, Amanda texts me, stating that our home required "extra attention," and, "is more like a Move Out cleaning." (I didn't know what that meant since we requested a Move In/Move Out cleaning. She stated that for a home our size, she normally charges $0.50.sq ft, which would make the cost roughly $1,400. She said she called other cleaning companies and received the quote she told us. She then proceeds to say that she would complete our home for a total of $1000. At that point, my husband and I knew we were getting scammed. I informed Amanda that I would provide her with compensation for the work she had completed, and requested for her to stop working. I informed her of my disappointed with her professionalism as well as not having a completely clean home. I also told her not one company quoted us $1,400 for our home. She began sending a multitude of texts stating she would complete the downstairs portion of our home for the price we agreed upon, and she would stay until 5:00pm. She then begun sending me videos and photos of some of the work she had completed. A large majority of the photos were of her dusting. I don't believe the photos and videos were actually for me. She informed me that she utilizes social media to generate clients. My husband and I met at our home at 5:00pm, to pay Amanda and survey what she had done. As we looked around house, it was hard to see her work. Our home was not completely clean in any way. When my husband asked her what she had done, she said everything. When we begun to point out dirty countertops, drawers that were not wiped out, dirty windows, etc, she begun to give us a myriad of reasons why she was unable to complete the job. She blamed the previous owner, the size of the house, the pet hair, the dust, etc. To say we were frustrated would be an understatement. My family and I had to clean our home in order for us to be able to move in on Saturday. She used some type of product on my kitchen countertops that has completely ruined the grout. It is impossible to remove, and now, we have to regrout sooner than desired. None of the restrooms were clean, except for one toilet. None of the floors were swept or mopped. The stairs were not vacuumed. I believe only the floors in the bedrooms were vacuumed. I could continue but, you get the point. Did she clean some things? Yes. Did she do what she said she would? No. After 10 hours of work, she had very little to show. Beware. You work hard for your money. Choose someone who will respect that. read more

I needed a deep clean and declutter both-- think of it as almost a move-out/estate cleaning, except that I'm staying in the house.
