I was supposed to get a return call, that was 2 weeks ago! Thanks anyway, I'm all set. No communication and horrible customer service!

I had high hopes for MSC Cruises, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing…read morefrom the start. When we arrived, our room wasn't cleaned, even though they told us it was ready. The sheets were damp, stained, and the entire room had a strong, unpleasant odor. Despite reporting it, no one came to properly clean or replace the linens. We ended up staying in a room that felt dirty, cramped, and honestly unsanitary. Service overall was extremely lacking. We struggled to get help with simple things like directions or the Wi-Fi, and staff either didn't have answers or didn't seem interested in helping. The ship might look impressive from the outside, but it doesn't live up to the visuals-it felt poorly maintained and overrated. The dining experience started off promising--my appetizer soup was great, and the waitress was kind. But the main dish, lasagna, was a disaster. It had the texture of mushy creamed soup, with no structure or flavor. For dessert, I ordered a cake that didn't list any allergens, but it contained nuts--which I'm allergic to. Thankfully, I caught it in time, but that's a huge safety issue. The islands were beautiful and they had some really fun parties and wonderful shows and activities, but overall I would say save your money. I rarely leave negative reviews, especially when it comes to people working hard in hospitality--but this felt careless and unsafe. Dirty rooms, inconsistent service, and serious allergy risks made for a miserable trip. Would not recommend.

    Segway Tours of Delray Beach

Bottom Line: Friendly tour guide, reasonable price, decent scenery…read more Overview: Apparently, there are a couple Segway businesses serving the Delray Beach area, as of February 2011. I decided on utilizing this business, primarily because they were the most responsive of the two via email. Note that I had not been on a Segway in several years. My experience on a Segway prior to this was on one of the original Segways and was limited in terms of time actually on the Segway. One other note, I am biased towards Segways in the fact that I think they are a great way to see a city, if you are short on time and energy. I took a tour at about 2-3pm in the afternoon with two other people. My tour guide was Kyle. Training: I was quite impressed with the level of training the instructor provided us. He wanted to make sure everyone was comfortable on the Segway before we headed out to ensure we had an enjoyable ride. Generally, we had an opportunity to learn how to maneuver the Segway for short distances. We were also taught how to get on and off the Segway comfortably. We were later taken to a large plot of grassy area and allowed to ride the Segway at faster speeds and try some more "advanced" riding. Again, this just helped bolster my confidence on the Segway. I appreciated it. Tour: Our guide gave us the option whether we wanted historical facts along the ride or just wanted to ride the Segway and enjoy the scenery. We opted for the latter. I did later ask the guide for a few facts, and he obliged. Of course, I can't recall them now, unfortunately. We were given an opportunity to ride up along the beach, as well as along some of the dock along the inland waterway (what is that called?); I assume it is called a 'canal'. Tour Guide: I cannot say enough good things about the tour guide, Kyle. Very helpful and quite professional. If you like golf, you may want to talk with him about that. He might have some suggestions for you as to good courses in the area. He did mention that one of their guides was more versed in historical facts. I don't recall that guides name, but you may want to request her if that is the tour you are looking for, specifically. Summary: Although I do not have a whole lot of Segway tour experience, I was quite pleased with the experience I had with this company. I had a chance to cover alot of ground on the tour, and I would not hesitate to suggest this company for anyone that wants to tool around on a Segway in Delray Beach.

I took a five-day cruise on Margaritaville at Sea Paradise to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday,…read moreand overall, we had a really good time! The price was reasonable, the food was great, and there was plenty to enjoy throughout the cruise. The buffet in particular was better than I expected and had a nice variety of options. We opted to eat at the steakhouse a few times, as well as the sushi restaurant. We were happy that these options were available. There were a few hiccups. Margaritaville now charges purchases to your account throughout the cruise instead of waiting until the last day, and we had some issues with making payments on the account. My girlfriend's suitcase was also damaged during the cruise, which was frustrating. We also had a period where the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly, and the room became extremely hot. Despite those issues, they didn't ruin the overall experience. We had a good time celebrating, and for the price, I think it's a solid cruise option. I'd definitely sail with Margaritaville at Sea again, I just want to try out some of their other ships next time!

I've been on the Paradise ship out of West Palm Beach 3 times but this is my first review. First…read moreoff, this is a smaller budget friendly ship. If you're looking for a Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, or princess experience, this is not for you. It's an older ship but you can tell they've tried to make upgrades where possible. Give this ship a try! But go in knowing what it is and what it isn't!!! The Paradise is great for a cheap getaway. It's no frills but still nice for the price. They offer a lot of deals and specials for veterans, repeat customers, and casino players. The crew is amazing. Very hard working and friendly. Never saw anyone without a smile on their face. I booked a grand suite and it was very nice. Yes, it's showing its age but I'm more concerned about cleanliness. My cabin steward, Paul, did an excellent job. Loved the towel animals. It had a balcony but it's old so the wall is high. You can't see over the ledge if laying down on the sun lounger. It's a big balcony. My only complaint is it's not covered. I was out during the sail away party and the people in the pool deck were hanging their drinks over the railing. I was nervous someone could throw something and land on the me or the balcony. The suite has a separate living room and bedroom. Very nice size! The bathroom is big for a cruise ship - jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. The food isn't bad. I went to JWB Steakhouse one night. It's an extra fee to eat here. I don't think it's necessarily worth it but you get a lot of food. I ordered the ribeye. I like my steak rare and the meat cut is too thin to get it rare to my liking. The seasoning was good. You get an appetizer, soup or salad, entree, and dessert. The shrimp cocktail was good. I absolutely loved the onion soup. Steak was just ok. And I was too full for dessert. The buffet has a lot of good choices. I wish Cheeseburger in Paradise offered a turkey burger. Some things on the buffet are better than others. The reubens at the sandwich station are awesome. I got one with turkey and it was also delicious. Fins, the main dining room, is hit or miss for me. They post the nightly menus outside of the restaurant so you can pick and choose what nights you want to go by the choices. They don't switch up the menus so if you got often it's the same thing. The standouts for me were the hearts of palm appetizer and the curry shrimp entree. The mushroom rotini wasn't bad either. The sauce was thin. I thought the key lime sponge cake dessert was too sweet. Crazy sweet. Disembarkation was a cluster you know what as usual. Not a lot of direction - especially when people don't follow the order to get off! Suites are supposed to get priority after ADA but so many people clog the elevators and hallways. But you can technically be off the ship and in your car by 8:30/9 if all goes well. The casino has a decent variety of slots and tables. Free drinks while gambling but the servers tend to favor the tables. If you have the drink package, it's a quick walk to the bar to get your own. I had to do that several times. On each sailing, they have a veteran's ceremony. They recognize all the veterans on board and the cruise director speaks. It's very nice and one of the things that sets this ship apart from others. I know I'm missing stuff but my review is long enough!!!
