I recently upgraded my computer to an i7 9700k and a MSI MPG z390 gaming plus motherboard and the computer would not get past boot. I took it to Earl and their new store after calling him on the phone. I arrived to the store at 6:30pm and left the store around 10:30pm almost all of the time was spent working on the computer, diagnosing the problem, then tweaking the system after the repair had taken place. We had to try several different possibilities, around 7, before the solution was clear, an out of date BIOS on the motherboard. The price was not revealed to me , so i cannot comment about his prices as I was able to trade in some old computer parts that I had laying around; ( broken GPU, a bent pin motherboard, and my old processor/ MOBO combo) all of which i was never going to use again. He also tweaked some system information within windows which makes my system preform A LOT snappier than it was prior to the improvements. Throughout the entire experience with Earl he was very professional and while we were waiting on the system to load, or transfer files over we had very pleasant conversations. If you need anything repaired he has the most wealth of knowledge about computers that I have met. He will get you taken care of and will do so in a timely manner. 5/5 would recommend to anybody. read more

The best anywhere. If you are having problems with your computer, take it to DataCorp- ask for Earl Richards, Hes the man, he talks to you, and will do a very good job. You want have to take it home, and bring it back because of sloppy workmanship. When he fixes something, he knows the part it needs, and makes sure it is in working condition, so you will be satisfied. Do not go to this guy. He's a british guy and he's a thief. He takes care of himself before he takes care of his customers first. I bought a Toshiba Notebook a while back, not from him. It comes with a restore cd. I gave it to him incase he needed to use it to help him out. He CLAIMED to misplace it and offered to give me a copy of it, which I though was odd. Then his employee came out and said, "Is this what you were looking for, it was laying right over there." He then gasp and gave his employee that you stupid I wanted to keep that look. Lied to my face because he wanted that disc Next, He told me my computer was done and it was just finishing the updates. I can go pick it up. When I got there it was still updating. So, we were up front BSing and I was just preparing and got the cash out. I didn't hand him the cash. The computer wasn't even done updating yet. He snatched the money out of my hand, grabbed my computer and basically shoved me out the door. It was like he got his cash so now he didn't care if my computer was fixed. Furthermore, my computer was frozen updating and I still had to take it back to him to get it fix. I didn't pay him that next time Bottom line is, I had to take my computer to this guy multiple times. It always came back screwed up. He seems like a nice guy but that is just him being 2 faced. O.K. Where do I start on the long list of things? #1. Carried our computer in for a DPC Watchdog Violation. Which all my computer friends told me was a common issue and should only take about an hour to fix. When I got to Data Corp. The smell of the armpits & foot odor hung in the air until you could taste it. After being treated RUDE several times we decided to leave and come back in a few hours. We were called and told that the problem was so extensive that he would have to keep the computer over night. The next afternoon the computer was picked up. Two days later we hooked the computer back up and it was running good as I was on Facebook and then went to You Tube listening to music and BOOM FROZE UP! I called Data Corp and was asked to bring computer back only to be blamed for the problem at hand. After being asked to stay while he looked at the computer, He would not let us get NEAR it to see what was going on. The combination of the smell and the no where to move or sit we decided to leave the computer and come back in a couple of hours. Before we could call back he called us and told us that we had went into the computer and caused the problem. We had not (as I said earlier my you tube FROZE) there is no explaining anything to this guy because you are not allowed to talk just listen or walk away. After the 1st $90 charge we were informed that it was our fault and said he wanted $45 dollars. After a few choice words with him about us not causing the problem on the computer, he tries to force my disabled fiance to come to his store to come retrieve her computer right then! (Which was never going to happen) then when my mother in law went the next day to pick it up he called and said that if we was never comeing back to his store he was just going to give mom in law the computer and not charge us. to keep any more trouble down my girl told him we would back and was going to pay him his 45 dollar ransom. he told mom in law he'd need a few minutes to run a few more things to finish repair. after saying it was ready the day before. this stinks of the fact that if my fiance had not said she was still going to use his services he was going to send our computer home with something wrong with it. all in all he didnt fix the computer the frist time he worked on it and then blamed my fiance for resetting what he had done and messed it up. witch is B.S because when it froze up we called and unhooked it and carried it to him. all he could say was i know what she did i can see it ... and then turn around and asked over and over what was it you was doing when it froze. he's a joke. he got me for 120 dollars. but i hope he use it well because it's the last he'll ever get from us or any one we know. the smell in the place alone is enough to warn off new customers. please beware. the coast of his work can be matched by the geek squad. 2-10-2018. we got our computer back from the my mom n law late tonight. and guess what hooked it up and it let us get as far typeing in the pass word to unlock the screen and then froze up with the same DPC WATCH DOG VIOLATION. BLUE SCREEN IT HAD BEFORE!!! and will not let us past that point. all this after he tolds us it was fixed the frist time. and then blamed us the second time we took it back and charged us again. my fiance is heart broken because she is disable and her computer is he link to the world out side.i told her to use my PC but hers is set up the way she likes and is comfortable on hers. she will of corse use mine but thats not the issue. he has lied and taken money we dont realy have to just give away to a low life con artist like this. i knew when mom n law said she had to wait on him to finish a few things to finish the computer after telling us the day before it was ready he was going to trash her computer. i hope one day to see him in a crowded store some were because i have a few words that i've got to say to him and i want a lot of folks around to hear what he is. i i could aford it i'd pay some one to picket out side his shop all week long to show every one that goes by just what he is and how he robs people of there money.i called the geek squad and there coast was only an little higher and it would cover both our PC'S for a year and it was an issue to were my girl couldnt bring it in because of he inabelity to drive they would come and do it her for just a small service call fee. belson in remerton is also good. i've ussed him a few time and never had to return any thing. i hope he's still open. i do know he still has a site up and running witch is were this one is going. because now we dont have the yearly coast of geek squad after this man and i use that trem very loosely. ripped us off. i'm working man and we life paycheck to pay check as im shure alot of you do. my next step is to the BBB and report his just lie and take your money practices like he cant be touched. and i won't stop there rant and rave in the times is next. so spread word. i'm not going away read more
