It's just lunch, Cincinnati This service is extremely…read moreexpensive. I paid for a package that promised me 12 dates in 12 months. I also was led to believe that I would get feedback on my dates and they would be specifically for me, in reality you only get that service if you pay for the next level, which was not cleared yet at the time. I'm about halfway through my dates, they often skip months and are very difficult to get a hold of. Usually I get very little information about my date, they are usually in my age range and in the Cincinnati area and that looks like they're only qualification. I don't feel like much effort is put into making sure we have things in common. Don't waste your money, it has definitely not been worth it for me.

RUN AWAY FROM IT'S JUST LUNCH!!! Worst financial investment in my entire 30 years on planet earth…read more I've had 4 dates with women I was completely incompatible with. Women I would have NEVER gone for in real life. High level, they were overall self centered, materialistic, and high strung type A personality. I specifically dictated I didn't want to match with high strung type A "feminist" type women. The ONLY thing I bonded with these women over is how awful It's Just Lunch is and how much they regret their decision to join. 4 dates, one-and-done for all 4. I asked "Julie" (you never know if it's their real name because I've heard from some strange matchmakers; Obed, Laquanda, etc.) for a good faith partial refund of my $2,500 wasted. I asked for $1,000 back b/c I was so dissatisfied and she BS'd me and played some games for as long as possible. She even told me (As a VP) she didn't have that authority. Really?! Truth is she and the company are trying to hold onto my money at all costs. Julie asked me to take down my review on Google because they re-activated my expired account in good faith. I didn't want 2 more lousy dates with high strung self-centered women. I wanted a less than half refund based on my horrible experience. I hope the BBB gets involved or there is some kind of class action lawsuit against IJL. They are PREDATORS!!!

I have been duped!!! This review comes as a result with my personal experience with Kentucky…read moreSingles. They can be persuasive. They know how to work their psychology on people. They know how to twist the facts in their favor. They know how to pressure you into signing so many papers all at once your head spins and you sign without reading what you are signing. Everything that you sign is in their favor. The non-refundable payment, the service that is not delivered and the phone calls that are not returned or messages not responded to, the time lapse without any communication or update. The spiel about the wonderful gentlemen on their database are so eager to meet females. is just that...a spiel.. There are no guys on the list. And then there is the obligation that each member is required to do. MEET the guys. Wow. Who are these guys? Was a background check performed? Are they educated? Are they personable? Are they emotionally or psychologically stable? How about their financial stability or will I end up with a stalker or a scammer? Kentucky Singles does not offer this guarantee. But they ask you,,,it is your obligation.... to go and meet their referrals at your own risk. WOW. I want my money back. I do not need their lousy service if they pick homeless guys off the street to introduce to me. They offer no guarantees of any sort. They say they do a background check, but do they? They take your credit card as a form of ID at the onset of the interview. After I filed a complaint with the BBB, then I started to receive emails and phone calls from them. They also asked that I call their client relations. I am not one to get into a discussion over the phone. Too many miscommunication and misinterpretation occur. I asked that they email me and send me what they would like to discuss so i can document the conversation. They still keep calling. I finally got an offer. They want to take 50% of what I paid them for doing nothing. I say, they refund my money in full. What does the public say out there...? No service, no delivery of service per contract, and no referrals for a long time. NOT ONE. So...if there is a contract, is it binding only for clients to pay the fee? Is it not also binding on them to perform the service that i paid for? Or do they abscond with my money because i signed a piece of paper that says, payment is non-refundable? My word. Non-refundable if I actually received the service and I defaulted because i wrote up a false feedback or I lied to them saying that I am really not single? i AM NOT GUILTY OF ANY OF THESE. SO, WHERE IS MY MONEY? DO NOT SIGN UP. DO NOT PAY. DO NOT BE DUPED.

Absolutely do not waste your time and money on this place. I had came out of an abusive…read morerelationship. I was in court because my ex had almost killed me and I had an order of protection. The last thing in my life I needed was to date but I was alone, vulnerable and didn't have much but a credit card. I went to this place and got suckered into giving them over thousands of dollars. I was not in the right mind to be dating or making those types of decisions. I was honest but they took complete advantage of it. I think they sat me up with three dates. They were completely incompatible. The last one was an alcoholic and had similar issues to my ex. This place should be ashamed of their vulture like behavior. Don't give these people a dime. They will promise you the world and you might have few cups of coffee with someone you have nothing in common with over three years. You would have much much better odds with plenty of gis

I asked if I could see pictures of the women they were fixing me up with. They said NO, that was too personal. The 5 women I met were someone I would NOT have asked out. Then again, maybe I am no prize either ? Some say the older we get, the more fickle we get. People don't want to "settle" and then be unhappy the rest of their life. So there are a lot of single "shoppers" out there.

This matchmaking service has a good concept. However, if you are considering paying for this…read moreservice think twice then think again. Their "Dating Director" for the Louisville/Lexington area is horrible. Not only is this "Director" terrible but there is not a local office as they claim. The "Director" I spoke to did not take my feedback, which I was required to provide, into consideration when setting up the matches. I got the 5 "matches" guaranteed by the contract. However, they were not matches! From the beginning I told the Dating Director that smoking is a deal breaker. She said "I have a great match for you". I went to meet him, big time smoker. He was not secretive about it, said he had told the director he smoked often. I also wanted to meet someone that lived within 75 miles of my home city. Only one person that I was "matched" with lived within 75 miles of me. Even after multiple messages to reiterate this requirement. Like I said, they met the requirement of 5 dates but that is all. They did not meet their end of contract requirements. Honestly, I don't want to hear from them again anyway. It was pointless for me to have the 90 min conversation about my likes, dislikes, etc. They were not taken into consideration. Beware, the first person you speak to is only there to sell the service. She is good at the sales pitch. I drank the kool-aid. This person will mention "multiple matches" in the first conversation, but beware! You will never hear about these matches again as they are more than likely not from your area. Buyer Beware is my input.
