Teheran is extremely flexible and will work with any schedule, and the price is very affordable. When you walk in, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. It smells really good too! There is a comfortable couch to relax on while you are waiting. I was offered something to drink...and a little wine (smile). Nice touch. Be careful...You don't want to over do it (LOL). Anyway, there is a private massage room off to the left. When you step into the room, you will be walking into a world of soft music, soft sheets, hot stones, hot towels, and a total "to die for" experience! Teheran is not just your average massage therapist. He is also a neuromuscular therapist and a fitness trainer. I call him: "The man with the magic hands." My daughter and I went for a massage on this past Mother's Day (5/13/18). I figured it would be a great Mother's Day gift. Boy Did I make the right decision. When my massage was over, I felt like a new person. I scheduled my next massage before I left. Because Teheran knows so much about the body and pressure points, he was able to massage my ankle in such a way that it did not swell up the way it usually does. Both I and my doctors viewed Reiki as an important part of my treatment and healing. It helped me keep a calm and positive outlook which was necessary to stay stronger during chemo. Dana's new(ish) office in downtown Decatur is comfortable and serene. There are very few distractions in this space (compared to the old space in Candler Park), which allows both those receiving and giving the good "Reiki vibes" to really experience healing on a deeper level. I don't know what I would have done without Dana, her patience and her support over the last 9 or 10 months. While I can't credit Dragonfly Reiki for curing my cancer, I can credit it for helping keep me more grounded while dealing with it.

He practices activator chiropractic care which means that he doesn't do that whole twist and crack method. That's always been a little scary to me - waiting for someone to twist your neck around-ick! This is a little rubber tipped tool that applies pressure to the points that are out of whack. After about four adjustments with the activator, I actually heard and felt my L-5 slide back into place! Dr. David has been fantastic! He listens to all my complaints, is receptive to my ideas, and is so reasonable - $35 a session without insurance! When I went in, I was in so much pain I wouldn't sit down. After one session, I was able to move around and actually able to get in the shower again! I plan to go to him regularly now just to keep everything in order!

The moment you walk in, you're asked to sanitize your hands and take off your shoes, making everyone's safety a priority from the get-go. You'll notice a beautiful shelf of items (like Incausa incense, locally made jewelry, ceramics, etc) and a wonderfully-clean and intimate waiting area. I was led to the adjacent room, a warmly-lit area with yummy, natural fragrances in the air. The spa table where I laid down for the application was heated and felt so therapeutic on my back (a killer bonus, honestly). Marisa was super personable and informative on the lash lift and tint process and generously offered information on other services and products. Would be remiss to not add how incredibly knowledgeable and warm she was throughout the appointment, not to mention that she was triple-masked up which is an added comfort during COVID.
