I know nothing about the scene in San Jose, but I'm betting it's the only biker rock and roll bar in the city, maybe even the only rock bar. But don't be intimidated by being a biker bar in a dark, warehouse area by the docks, it is a very friendly, chill place, where everyone seems to know each other and party together. Heavy metal seems to the main genre here, but one band was an 80s 90s pop cover band. I enjoyed 2 meals from the little but good quality kitchen, including the Papa's Loco, good bar food. I also splurged on the steak sandwich, it was good, but I'd probably just stick to a hamburger next time.

Glad we did. We love playing pool so we were happy to find this spot. We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed - only one table. But we did arrive at like 1030pm, so after we arrived some tables cleared out. Still a decent number of patrons. Quarter tables ($1 a game). Tables are decent, balls and cues aren't well kept, but it was alright. A couple of times the balls didn't drop, so we had to call the bartender. Patrons are mostly local, some tourists - mostly a younger crowd. No trouble, most kept to themselves. Beers are decently priced - no smoking allowed inside. We had a good time. The only thing I personally didn't like was the music was SO LOUD!! They could have turned it down a notch - it's not a night club!! But I'm kind of an old lady sometimes, lol. It gave us a nice view of the large open restaurant. There are tons of TVs around and, in talking to our server, they have basically any sports package you would want so if you want to watch a game, this is the place to do it. We split a club sandwich. It was huge so splitting was the right choice. It came with a side and we chose the onion rings. Again, great choice. Rings were crispy and delicious. Our server was great. Miss Gabriela came over and told us we had to move. There were several other open tables. She explained that there were people outside in line waiting for that particular table. We did not see any line, and our awesome waiter, Richard, had already given us the okay to move. As we closed out our check with him, he said someone would be by to clean the table. Well, Gabriele was not happy that we were accommodated and never sent a waiter to take our order or clean the table. We waited 20 minutes and only after speaking to the manager were we serviced. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive, and friendly. We ordered drinks and nachos, which were just mediocre. Then the game was changed to a volleyball game. Several football fans asked about the game being changed and were told that we had to watch volleyball. Many started to close out their checks and after closing mine and going to the host's desk, Miss Gabriele snatched the parking ticket from my hand and proceeded to validate my ticket. I was beyond stunned and in total disbelief. I went to speak to the manager and he was very dismissive and as I looked over, there was Gabriele laughing and flashing a heart with her two hands my way. She was very antagonistic in manner and the manager did absolutely nothing. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner as I was at this establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They had the same funny signs as the pubs in Los Angeles, but played live Puerto Rican music. This place is famous for making good long islands and the drinks are super cheap. It gets sweatingly crowded in here even though the two story pub fits a couple billiard tables, several bars, a live band on stage, a huge dance floor, and another room for more tables. This place is not a tourist spot. If you don't look like a native Puerto Rican, expect to get mean stares from the local gals as I and my group of girlfriends did. Although we minded our own business, my girlfriends experienced some harsh we-don't-want -your-kind-here stares along with lots of not-so-accidental pushes and shoves on the dance floor. With all this, I had wished we stayed in the tourist zone!
