After the four of us ate and drank they automatically added a 20percent tip which was fine but didn't tell us nor gave us a paper copy only the clover pad to add another tip which we didn't know was already there. We came here straight from the airport to watch our Chiefs play in the divisional round of the playoffs. When we arrived it wasn't very busy and we found a table facing the 2 tvs that were showing the game. When Miguel realized we were there for the game he tuned all the tvs to it and put the sound up. We stayed for the whole game, ordering food and drinks. It gradually got busier, was full when we left, but Miguel took good care of us all night. This bar has the NFL ticket. My husband and I had our respective teams playing on their TVs, and another patron had theirs on another. It was great being able to see all the games within our division right next to each other. The staff were also accommodating with our food request. There were plenty of burger options but limited in the chicken sandwich selections. We asked if we could swap burger patty with grilled chicken, and they were more than okay with it. This is a great place to enjoy some pub food and drinks. Located on a really busy intersection. I would not recommend this place if you want a place with very little noise. We ordered the BBQ chicken ranch, La tripleta and the Naked one. These are some quality brick oven pizzas. The BBQ and mozzarella basil one were delicious. Great crust and plenty of toppings smothered on top. We also ordered the sampler appetizer, wings, chicken club, Boricua and brunch burgers. The wings here are a must order as well. The honey Siracha and Jack Daniels BBQ flavors were delicious. The Sriracha one was so popular we tried to order another round and they ran out. The burgers were unique in their own way. It's a thick beefy patty per burger. The bacon and sharp cheddar cheese were perfect. Service here is great. We came right before the dinner rush and they were able to seat us quickly. They also have outdoor seating with some shade as well. Drinks here are also a must as they have some nice cocktails and local beers. You get a nice variety of quality pizzas and burgers. Desperate for some food on a Thursday night, we struggled to find a place that was still operating their kitchen instead of just their bar. Fortunately for us, they quickly took our order around 1 am for a Margarita pizza. Although not a traditional pizza but rather a pita, it still tasted good enough to keep us going for another hour afterwards. The only somewhat decent thing at this place was the wedge fries I added bacon and cheese to it but hence the word "decent" I had the chicken sandwich crispy it was blah I had ranch to dip it in but that tasted old. My friend has the burger and told them well done it came back pink and the only thing she did was take out her note pad and said "I wrote it down" the service was not good the food took forever to come and then even when we asked for the check that even took a long time. Our group searched for a place to watched the NFL games while vacationing here and found this spot. Yes, the area looks different during the day if you're only used to night time partying in La Placita (LOL). It's your typical bar food but everything we had was great. Fish bites, wings, hamburger, chicken salad, and chicken sandwich, and fried cheesecake. They have TVs and the games showing. The outdoor patio was great too if you go earlier (approx 4-5pm) but it did get crowded by 6ish before we finished at left. As always, the busier it is the slower the service BUT our server was amazing and honest about the slight delay in food times because of the rush. Highly recommend this place if you want good old bar food without the crowd of going more "inland" to La Placita. read more

Came here for the first time on a late Sunday night and it was almost empty. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious but it took a little too long (given there was only one other table there) to come out. The wait was worth it though! My date and I had the Boricua burger and the fish tacos. Both were delicious!! Definitely coming back but hopefully the food won't take too long to come out this time around :) read more

I asked for a tequila soda with well tequila. they gave me casamigos and Perrier. they charged me 40 dollars for a singular tequila soda and when I told them this isn't what I asked for they started cursing at me and made me pay for it. don't ever get drinks from here. read more

We arrived at 7:40 hopping to grab a quick bite before going out waiting and watching as other guest who had come in after us had already eaten and were leaving before we even received our food. We were still charged for food we never received. And our server made her distaste for tourist known with the manger coming to her defense. I do commend our waitress for her serves to all non-white patrons to which she was very speedy, attentive and lively. Just don't be too white and you can expect good service! We placed our drink and food order at the same time (me and my guests are servers and we like to make the lives of other servers as easy as possible) We patiently waited over an hour and a half without questioning it, understanding the situation and the industry. We waited and watched as several other tables that had come in after us had already eaten and left. After an hour and a half we decided we should probably ask about our food. We assumed she probably forgot to place our food order which is understandable because like I said we work in the industry and unfortunately it happens sometimes. I asked about our food and she told us be patient shooing me away. I have never seen someone so disrespectful and keep their job. 30 minuets later I approached her a second time and as politely as possible not being one to make a scene asked "do you know how long we've been here?" She then got inches from my face screaming "THIS IS YOUR PEOPLES PROBLEM!!" Referring to the color of our skin. I found this restaurant on yelp, we tried the pizza. It was delicious! They said 15 mins but my walk was only 10 mins and it was hot and ready when I arrived. People were super nice and it was very quick from order to table. I definitely recommend the pizza here for sure! read more

Also when I arrived I said hello to the gentleman behind the bar and he simply replied, "Nothing is ready yet" and nothing else then walked away.
