Went to Dave and Buster's in Bellevue today with my daughter and grandson. Had so much fun with the games. But the restaurant experience was awful. The food is not worthy of even one star! And after waiting 40 minutes for a table we were insulted by a female member of the restaurant staff. I think she bussed tables. So absolutely rude. We won't go back! read more

The games are fun but don't expect good service at the restaurant/bar or from the hostess. Totally incompetent staff with the exception of the manager who seemed apologetic but unable to do anything to help. The servers that they hire at the restaurant should not be working anywhere in the service industry. We waited about 30 minutes, got moved between 4 different areas and finally asked for the manager. The staff just walks around and wipes the tables but does not approach you. When you ask them to help you they pass you on to their colleagues. No one seems to know their responsibilities and they all look like they don't want to be there. It is a shame because games are fun but don't give their restaurant or bar a chance . This place has got to have the worse service in the whole city you would think in the area it is the customer would at minimum be decent but it doesn't even come close me and my girlfriend went here to watch the Seahawks game and it literally took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were there and I had to go find a bartender and when I did I found 5 just standing around doing nothing and they blamed the wait on the game which I expected but when you looked around the whole place was completely empty there was maybe 5 people there tops and a little advice when someone finally comes and say something to you make sure you have your order ready because everytime they left it took 20 minutes to come back for even a drink of water that was literally sitting right in front of me and some people waited longer then me and never got there food so I don't understand what made the kitchen backed up when nobody in the bar got there food in a timely manner and when I finally got the food it was barely warm this place truly sucks read more

We had a party room reserved for my son's 11th birthday party this past weekend at the new Bellevue location. I can't begin to tell you how impressed we were with the whole staff that made our experience so great. Erik Doyle was the Manager on duty and he went above and beyond. Anytime I had a question for him or the servers, they would immediately make themselves available to help out. Our servers (Jesus, Jaymin and Briana) were awesome as well and helped with a smile anytime I needed something. Great overall experience. The reviews were low when I was checking before we went yesterday (12/21/22) and it was amazing! The games were great, it was clean. C'mon, a huge Hungry Hippo game? The Pytheon thing - so cool! The ticket/redemption people were nice. As I read the food is slow, we ordered immediately after we arrived and then started playing game - protip! They for some reason said their napkin-roller person was working on the napkins but it took a while to get some. Food was not bad, not great but pretty decent - I was surprised that the fish and chips were quite good and the fries. And the Steak Salad. So go and enjoy. And btw, Wednesday is 50% for the chips needed to use the games! Nice surprise! read more

Threw a company happy hour here. To be fair it started out great, server was attentive and fun and people were having a good time. However our 2 hours were up for seating but our server offered to stay on until we left and we had just ordered another round of food and drinks. We didn't want to be a hassle so settled the bill but We asked if we could stay where we were as folks were still eating, drinking, and playing. Otherwise we could move our stuff to the bar area. The manager stated it was fine as they weren't busy and we could leave things there. I stated we had just ordered more food and drinks but can open a new tab for any additional items. I came back regularly to check on things (every 20 minutes) and left to play another round. When we came back to eat and drink, our table was completely cleared. I spoke to the manager and she stated they thought we left and that they could give us food to go if we still wanted it. My team and I were so upset we said no and left. I'm a reasonable person and had all of our stuff not been there (jackets and purses and hats on chairs) I could see how that could have been the case. Essentially the group felt like they were just trying to kick us out. I guess once you settle the group charge and they get their money that's all the care about. It made what would have been a great experience to never wanting to host anything here again. read more

The bar service was great, super nice attentive service with great drinks. My complaint is the cleanliness. There were very random, rare to be found sanitary stations all of which were completely empty of hand sanitizer at 10:30pm. I mentioned this nicely to the person at the desk where you exchange tickets as "just so you know all your hand sanitizer stations are empty" to him sarcastically replying "at least you have your mask on". I was with a group of 12 and we all found the lack of cleanliness and even caring very gross, enough so I have never spent the time to write a review. Train your employees to do better and implement a plan for basic sanitary stations to be accessible. read more

Our family brought a few of my son's friends for a birthday celebration - we had an early summer weekday lunch and spent a couple of hours playing games. The lunch was surprisingly good - the kids enjoyed the burgers and individual pizzas, and we enjoyed our salmon. The pretzel dogs were also tasty. Came in lastnight around 9-10pm went to the bar to order a drink. Sat for a few mins waiting for someone to acknowledge me, finally a bartender comes up and asks what I wanted. Uh sir? I don't even have a menu in my hand... so I ask for one and he said he'll be back. 5 mins pass by and no one came back. I notice there was another bartender on the other side just chatting while a girl on the corner was holding her cup at him waiting for a refill. Even she was waiting forever. When I walked thru the main doors, I noticed there was a sign stating they were short staffed and all card recharges should be done at the kiosk. I walk up to the kiosk and there was only an option to pay via debit/ credit and not cash. A worker noticed me having trouble with the machine and prompted me to try another one until I let them know I wanted to pay with cash which they directed me to the ticket/prize counter on the other side of the arcade floor for that person to help me out. They were also unable to help me recharge my card because they didn't have their log in card to operate their POS system at the moment. The worker came and checked on the situation after I walked away from the counter ready to just call it a day and go home and handed me a play card with a bit over 400 credits on it. Really made my Monday and I had an excellent time on the DDR machine for a few hours before saying thank you to them again and walking home. Servers were great and at least tried to greet or acknowledge customers. Bartenders service terrible. I understand there issue with staffing but 4 to 5 bartenders is enough to acknowledge waiting customers standing at their "service wait line" or whatever unclear system they had going on. Eat anywhere else, but here! The it was our 2nd time coming and tonight we celebrated a birthday. We spent a few hundred on food, but none of it good. Everything looks great, but there was something wrong with just about everything we ordered. If you don't like boxed Mac and cheese, dont order it there. The ribs had a really off taste and the new york steaks both had a really weird texture. They were very soft to the touch, but no pink on the inside. The mashed potatoes, French fries and kids chicken bites were good! Try it out, decide for yourself. Maybe it was an off night. They weren't short staffed, as the service was great. They've only been operating a few months now so everything is still clean and in great shape. Maybe we will try something else on the menu next time, but it's pretty hard to do, when even your local Applebee's serves better food. Fun arcade games and it was a fairly clean establishment. Only problems I have are with the servers and the prizes for tickets. First of all, the prizes are grossly overpriced. Some kids who are on the younger side (like my son and his friends) don't win often and get little tickets. The prize "store" doesn't have any young kid options that are cheap thats not the candy up front. Only bounce balls and squishys and those get boring when everyone gets a ball to bounce that they forget about in the next hour. I wish they had more things like stickers, putty, kid jewelry like chuck'e'cheese. Or just make everything a little cheaper in general. But food and drinks were okay. SERVICE though is another story. I asked for the $25 cards for my son and his 3 friends. So thats $100 i'm spending for them that I budgeted for. The bill came back and I found out I had been charged for the $45 point option. $180...$80 more than I wanted to spend and I brought this up to my server and he only said he misheard me and not even a sorry. I didn't manage to catch his name, but he had brown hair and a slight goatee and was just in a grumpy mood serving us overall. I was fine with him being a little grumpy because not everyone can be happy all the time and he was never rude to us until I brought up the bill. I asked to get a refund or speak to a manager. He said there was nothing he could do because he misheard me and it wasn't an accident on HIS part it was an accident on MINE because I said it quiet. (Its a loud place and I am not a quiet speaker). I had other things to do that day so I didn't have time to argue. But I won't be coming back and I genuinely hope that never happens to another person there. He got no tip from me. My friends and me went to Dave buster in Bellevue, WA location on June 5 around 5 pm. The host lady called probably Niemeh over there first ignore my question about when can get the table, and also gave me really rude attitude when I appropriately asked the question. When I asked the question again, she said back off and I asked me to leave my hands off the table. I feel offended already and she said Covid right to my face. I don't understand why? She showed really bad customer service first of all, also, she is rude all the time. We had a reservation at 5pm, we waited for about 20 mins and we were just asking when can we get the table, she said there is no server now and will let me know when there is a server. Later I found out, there is a server over there ready for the service. I don't understand what happened to the lady and she obviously bring the attitude to the service. Really poor communication- attempted multiple times to connect and host an event there but they never get back to you.

My boyfriend and I came at around 12:00am to eat, and immediately when we walked in we weren't greeted by anyone and were very confused on where to sit. By the time we got a table our order was taken quickly, except our food didn't come out for 50 minutes. There were around 5 other tables seated, so it was basically empty. While we were waiting for our food our waitress didn't check on us once, and the only reason we got our food is because another waiter noticed that we hadn't gotten it yet and checked the kitchen for us. I ordered the vegan burger on a lettuce wrap and it came out cold and mushy, and my boyfriend ordered the pepperoni flatbread and it was not good. I don't expect much from Dave & Busters since it's primarily an arcade, but coming from someone who has been a waitress the service was horrible and I don't understand how the kitchen could've taken so long for such a simple order with hardly any customers. We went here initially because we wanted to play in the arcade, but we were unhappy and didn't want to spend any more money here so we left. read more
