My husband and I are fans of the SLU Tapster, so we finally tried the Bellevue location on Friday evening. It wasn't super packed, but there were several groups around us, which made for a nice chill evening vibe. The first thing you notice walking in is the amazing smell of popcorn (which I liked - bonus points that it is also complimentary). The best part about this place is the "no commitment" tap wall. We were curious about a few different beers, so we would poured a tiny bit of each to taste test instead of being stuck with a full glass of something we didn't like. Loved it for Valentine's Day. Staff was very friendly, kept checking up on us with refills for the complementary popcorn snacks. The vibes are great for friend groups to reconnect or go on a date with. There's a strong selection of wines and beers for people to try branching out from their usual choices. Would highly recommend stopping by Tapster, if you're in the Bellevue area looking for a new board game and vibe area. I feel like I am so late to this spot! As a person who is so indecisive and also loves to try as many flavors as I can, this place is awesome. They give you a card that you put money on and tap it at whatever screen has the drink you want to try. I love that you can try as little or as much (depending on how much is on your card) as you want and that there aren't set pours. Each screen shows how much each drink is per oz and how much is on your card as you pour. They have a HUGE selection of drinks including hard ciders, kombuchas, seltzers, non alcoholic drinks, beers, and some random others. The people working there were so friendly and genuinely seemed like they were happy to help and recommend favorites. The place is also set up super cute! They have a good amount of seating, swing chairs, and a Photo Booth! Definitely will be convincing my friends to come hang here! read more

We came to Tapster for a group gathering and really enjoyed ourselves. The place is very casual with you getting a Tapster debit card at the front and then using it to try any and all of the tapped offerings. They have a variety of glassware to select and even an upside down glass washing device at the taps so you can reuse the same glass throughout the visit. Tapster could use a few more non-alcoholic tapped beverages like a cider as they only had a delicious root beer and Kombucha and another non-alcohol tap but everything else was spot on. I loved the selections of the rest of the taps and they even had some wine choices and a Strawberry Margartia that I tried. Most of the beer taps were local to the PNW. We had a great time visiting and taking photos on their swing chairs and pretty decor. The staff was super helpful and friendly and took the time to chat with us and ask how we liked the offerings. I also noticed a lot of board games behind the counter and am not sure if you check them out or "rent" them. I never asked. They also had some hard liquor behind the counter that you can purchase shots, I believe. There is free popcorn available at the counter and other small snacks you can purchase as well as some canned bevies in a cooler but no other food. However, this place is dog-friendly and they allow outside food to be brought in. This is a great place to meet up with friends in a central Bellevue location and you can certainly try a huge variety of beers and other beverage offerings at a casual pace. read more

I really liked this place! It's a cool concept with a refillable card to choose your own drinks. Came here with a Yelp event for a spontaneous drink and it was fun. They have a ton of options and as a newbie, I was able to basically a little of all of their options. The interior is also cool since they have swings! They also have a photo booth inside! Would recommend if you're into beer and drinks if that sort! read more

What a delightful place for experiencing many different types of brews and ciders. Stop by here with a bunch of friends and we had a great time trying all the different beers, ciders and even a few wines. My favorite was the Doppelbach, but other others really like the fruity beers. Some like the IPAs some like the ciders. They don't serve any food here but they do let you bring food from outside. We brought in some pizzas from pagliacci a few doors away. Love the way they work with a in-store "debit" card, that you load up with their cash register, then "tap and pour" as much as you want, and it deducts it from your card. Very cute little bar in downtown Bellevue! You load up a card and pour your drink choice yourself. Just a warning - they don't have any food. The only thing they provide is free popcorn and some snacks you can purchase. They are however every accommodating to bringing in outside food, dogs, games etc. They have some cute instagrammble decor and swings all around. Came across Tapster randomly one afternoon and fell in love with the place. It has a ton of drink options for you to choose from. The workers have been very helpful and fun to talk with. My friend knocked over her wine when we were playing one of the games. We felt terrible given it was our fault but the worker was super polite and offered us a free refill on that wine without us asking. Overall, it is a nice place to swing by for a drink or two while you watch a game or hangout with friends. I will note the beer prices are a little steep but the fact you can pour as much or as little as you want means you can try different beers without needing to buy full sizes (i.e. Pints). read more

Tapster is a lovely, relaxing, chill place for a good hang! I went on a Thursday afternoon and enjoyed their happy hour pricing. The people at the register were very friendly and excited to show me how their beer wall works as a first time visiter. They had a great selection of beers, enough that anyone should find one that they are happy with. I don't usually recommend this type of place for a discerning wine drinker, but there are a few non-beer options as well. Oh, and the owners dog is a super cute fixture of the place! Been here a few times now, so glad that Bellevue finally has a nice casual bar that is open late! I love the variety in drink options and also how frequently their drinks change, so you'll never get sick of their menu. There's something here for everyone, even if you don't drink alcohol. I also love the self pouring concept since you can try multiple drinks before committing to one to see which ones you like the best. The employees are also always extremely welcoming and open to chatting and giving recommendations. They also host events like trivia and paint nights - unfortunately haven't been to either but sometimes will pass by during the events and the place looks packed so they must be fun! read more

Tried this place last night for girls night. LOVED IT. Self serve beer, ciders and wine from the tap where it keeps track of how much you owe. Typical price for any beer or cider on tap. tapster was a fun & fresh experience!! inside there is a variety of swings and tables, as well as a whole row of taps for different beers. i tried the berry beer cider and it was delicious!! just the right amount of sweet & fruity & frothy. i don't like very potent alcohol so it was great for me. i went with my friends and we sat down to play different card games as well as a game of musical bingo, with the whole joint. it was a fun community activity & the staff were so kind and positive. will definitely come back! read more
