The service was REALLY good. The waitress was attentive and the drinks were always full. I mentioned to the waitress that my daughter had a peanut allergy and she made sure to let the back of the house know. What really stood out was that kitchen manager or head chef walked out to deliver our food. Which gave me extra peace of mind regarding my child's severe allergy. The food was okay, it's what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. The cheese sticks were SO good! The cheese pull was 10/10. My partner and I love arcades, so when this opened in our area, we went on opening day and many, many days since. This was my first experience with a D&B, so didn't really know how to compare it to other locations until recently. We found the gaming experience fun, challenging, and addicting. If you're good at games, then you will likely get a decent amount of points to redeem for something cool. Most of the staff in the gaming area are friendly and help when certain games go down on a regular basis (stuffed animal claw machine), or get jammed (looking at you Zombie Snatcher). They also make sure the games are regularly cleaned/wiped down, along with picking up any glasses that are left behind. We haven't tried any of their food, since there is nothing for a vegan, and very limited options for even a vegetarian. As I've played games near the kitchen area, I have watched food orders sit for a very long time getting cold, while managers and staff look confused and overwhelmed. Just by that alone, I get why there's so many low reviews towards the restaurant here. Overall it's a nice place for a date night or to hang out with friends. We will definitely be regulars. Inside is fun. Lots of tables, televisions and exciting things to see. Pricing is crazy. The fact that the games are worth so many points sucks. And what's with like 10.9 or 7.7 points? Like why can't they just be whole numbers? Our waitress was absolutely terrible. She was just so bad. We sat at the table with empty plates and drinks for 25 minutes. We wanted to leave so we could go to the arcade but it felt like we were held hostage because she would not bring us our check. A lot of the games were out of order. The ribs were tasty. The experience is fun, loud, and live. The service was fast and friendly as I sat at the bar to watch Thursday night football. There are many arcade games to keep you entertained if you don't want to watch the television. The atmosphere is very loud and exciting so be prepared if you don't like loud surroundings. First time in over twenty years and we were excited. Big, beautiful building with a great vibe! Quickly greeted and sat with a party of 8. That's where the good times ended. Food order took about 30 minutes to take, and then the delivery of the meals took another 45 minutes. One meal totally forgotten, so that person waited another 20 minutes. Overall, huge menu with about 60% alcoholic choices. Cheap and most was tasty. We'll try again when the staff gets the hang of it. read more

Food is mediocre The price seemed a little high for the quality of food. Area is loud, but you can't talk. We were asked by the manager yeah everything was OK. We handed her a piece of silverware that had dried food on it. Luckily we saw it before we used it. She promptly took it, thanked us and returned with a couple of passes for the kids to play for an hour on the games. Might go back if I have family in town. Not really a date place. read more

I came back to this D&B for the first time since opening, and before I start I want to address the negative reviews. There's a common theme: slow service and bad food. But let's be real if you read the reviews and STILL chose to eat here, that's kind of on you. D&B advertises food & games, but in reality the draw here is definitely the arcade experience. The food is secondary. This location does an okay job with food service, but I personally wouldn't recommend coming here just to eat. What this place IS great for: * when it's cold or snowing and you need something fun for the kids * fair-priced games * good promos through the app * cheap drinks I've also noticed a high employee turnover, and honestly I don't blame them. I overheard a guest talking to a staff member like trash, probably drunk or in a bad mood. A reminder: don't be rude to the employees they're working hard and dealing with a lot. Recently tried D&B's for the first time. Took our grandson for his birthday and had a great time! We accidentally purchased the wrong chip card and Jerin (on site manager) was extremely helpful voiding the pass we purchased and getting us the correct one. We played for hours and stopped to have something to eat. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. In fact the entire staff was excellent during our visit. Game selection was pretty cool, plan on paying 8-12 credits per game. Bar was clean, staff was nice and restaurant/bar section large enough for large sporting event parties. Rotating food and gaming specials. They have reserved seating sections, shuffle board and darts but no pool. Check out the app for discounts. Load up your card and go nerd out while the game is on. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I booked a semi-private party table expecting at least decent service for our group, and what we got was practically nothing. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were invisible. Staff walked past us repeatedly, but not once did anyone stop to check on us, ask how things were, or see if we needed anything. We had to actively hunt someone down just to get our reserved table arranged. Throughout our entire stay, not a single person came by to offer drink refills. Empty glasses just sat on the table. Several of us went up to the bar, hoping to get service there, but we were completely ignored by the bartenders as well, who seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. It's completely unacceptable to provide this level of non-service, especially when you've made a reservation for a party. It ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday occasion. We felt completely unwelcome and neglected. Do not book a part here. You will be disappointed. read more

Incorrect charges for happy hour drinks...then couldn't correct it...so reimbursed with a gaming card after purchasing a 90 minute unlimited card with dinner...jeeze talk about not being able to read a room. So, to top it off the 90 minute unlimited card caps you at 1500 rewards tickets a day and excludes you from. Playing certain games. However - the staff was awful! we had never been in before & there were five or six host standing at the front counter, talking to each other & completely ignoring the customers that were coming in, not just my group. No one greeted us or offered an explanation for how things work. We ended up using one of the kiosks, which didn't explain anything, just had pricing & "chips" with no explanation of what that meant. Once we were seated, the server gave us menus that had all the deals explained on it but since we had already gotten our game card, they would not accommodate any of the food offers that went along with the card. Everything, no signage when walking in as to how you should get seated. Then reserved areas are not marked " Reserved ". Service was terrible. Waiter didn't go through order, so half of it never showed up. Appetizer sucked. Chips for dipping were so thin you couldn't dip without them breaking. My fiancé and I went in to check out Dave and Busters here in Spokane. From my great experiences in Philadelphia, I was excited to share this with him. We walked in at 3pm and were not greeted by anyone. There were 3 host/hostesses standing there. We took it upon ourselves to walk around and then sat at the walk up bar. Our bartender greeted us and asked if we wanted food as well as drinks. After looking at the menu, she asked what we would like to order. We asked her about the signage that was outside for help wanted, as we know someone looking for a job. She then said, " How would I know, I'm just a bartender." Then proceeded to tell us she needed to see our ID's. We are respectively 66 and 64 years old. My fiancé left his in the car and at that point from being ignored when we walked in, to being answered in the manner that we were, we decided to get up and walk out. I sure hope that Dave and Busters will be a little more discriminating about who they hire. As I know Dave and Busters to be a class act in Philadelphia, not so much in Spokane. Not just from people playing games, but each channel on the TVs and the music was so loud my partner and I had to text eachother from across the little table just to communicate. Had reservations I made a day before for 615pm. Arrived and was told it would be 715pm at earliest because manager allowed a 50 person group bump the reservations. Then when I checked at 715, they said they had cancelled my reservation. All this after we had spent $200 on game cards. Horrible service. Horrible management. Games are not that great. It feels like walking into a large warehouse with arcades on on side and tables on the other side, with massive tv's with games on. Very loud!!!! The service wasn't the greatest. We were seated and felt like we were forgotten about. Finally, We ordered drinks. Then food. our food came way before our drinks ever showed up. Our waitress showed up after our food came out and thats when I had to ask about our drinks. We were eating our meal and then our drinks finally came. Jokes on them... we usually order 4 drinks during a meal and we only got two. So we saved money. Ha. I can get good food and alright drinks anywhere though. The drinks had no prices so you don't have any idea what they cost. That's something that's nice to know. Without the cost of a drink your bill could be ANYTHING! I don't like that idea.
