This was the second time we visited twigs. Our first experience was, we had order hamburgers and instead of french fries we wanted some french fried onions on the side. We were told that was not available. We were very disappointed and swore we would not come back, because it also involved the attitude of the server, which was extremely arrogant. Then I took my mom to Mother's Day brunch. The only good thing about it was they were able to see us right away. They sat us next to a fireplace that was screaming hot when it was already 70° outside. We asked to change seats and I watched the servers argued amongst themselves. We sat down just my husband and I while we waited for my mother and her husband. We ordered drinks and it took 15 minutes to get them. I understand it was Mother's Day and it was busy so I let it go. My mother arrived and we obviously ordered the Mother's Day brunch, and we were never told that they would bring us plates eventually we were told we had to go pick up plates, which was fine. When we went to go get our plates at the buffet, there were no plates available. We had to wait at the buffet for five minutes before they brought us plates. It was very uncomfortable. When we got back to our table 20 minutes after we had arrived, we still had to ask for silverware. After that, we were never offered another drink or a refill on water or ice. There was no question offered to us in regards to how our food was and whether we were doing OK or not. And after a $75 gift certificate, I still ended up paying $280. This is unacceptable and if you're charging someone that much money, your service should be top-notch, but that is not how it turned out to be. read more

This was an okay experience. I ordered the fish tacos that came with shrimp, pineapple salsa, avacado, and ancho crema. The lime brightened the flavors and added the punch it needed. The shrimp were a little overcooked so they were tough but the fries were delicious. They were beautifully seasoned and fluffy. read more

We had a lovely dinner for my Birthday this year. It was very busy owing to the fact that it's Christmas and the weekend. So many families out and about celebrating the return of Santa to the mall as well as visit family. We had fish tacos with the pecan salad, the Kraken burger with the beet salad and the crème brûlée. All delicious. Great service even with a full house. We were too late for reservations but a table was available. Yay! We always enjoy dining at Twigs and have also visited their other locations with the same good food and fine service. The vibe is always friendly, beautifully appointed surroundings and good prices on many of the options. Each location also has a specials or fresh sheet. Had the worst experience here today. The service was absolutely horrible. We were seated and waited over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table. No one came to help us--my husband had to stop a server just to let them know we hadn't been served. The server said he would come back, but he seemed very stressed despite it being around 2:30 PM and the restaurant being fairly slow. When he did return, we ordered three drinks to start, but by the time my husband ordered his beer, the server had already forgotten what I ordered. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. About 45 minutes into our visit, we had to stop the waiter again just to ask for water. He brought a water pitcher, stared at us after I mentioned we had never received water. Throughout the entire meal, he never checked in to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing and made for a very unpleasant experience. read more

Good stuff!! Overpriced in my opinion for sure. The fish and shrimp tacos were both great and flavorful! Maybe not $19 for 2 tacos and a sad salad great, but still good :) This location is in a mall which always feels less formal to me so the prices packed an extra punch. But the mocktail felt worth it!! Got the strawberry guava without simple syrup & it was good, still sweet, so can't imagine what it would be like with the syrup. read more

While loafing around the mall in Spokane, we got hungry (of course) and stopped in for a bite. We picked this place because of the ambiance. With most of its seating overlooking the lower levels of the mall, Twigs seemed like a good place to satisfy our craving. We were seated fairly quickly, but our server didn't come around for more than 15 minutes. At some point, one of the wait staff noticed that we had been seated for a while without service. She hopped right on it and placed our orders and served us pretty fast after that. The food was good. The drinks were great! The service was slow, but rectified. And, the setting was classy/trendy. We like to order Twigs for Uber eats delivery because they make a good salad. But EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they include all plastic silverware even though we check the box that it's not needed. It's Uber Eats - you're delivering to our home - we have silverware. I've been leaving this feedback for Twigs since COVID. Meanwhile all the other restaurants in Spokane have caught on and do not automatically include plastic that's just going into the recycling bin. Pretty sure this is a Washington State law now. Used to really like going to the chain; great food and salads especially (my one true love was the Southern Fried Chicken salad). Last month they swapped the menu out, removed my beloved salad, and dramatically reduced the portion size across the new offerings while prices have stayed roughly the same. I get the ingredient expense/quality argument, but skimping on the salad leaves to the point a side is asking main meal prices is ridiculous. Salad meat is now an optional extra... just pay a premium for what's left of a protein chuck after they quartered it to meet the new ration reqs from management. Greed man... I'll check back in a few months give it one more shot, but overall I'm sad to say I'm done with the place. read more

At first, we were left indefinitely waiting at Twigs for a kids' menu because the waiter "got sidetracked." Later, when I wanted to enjoy my wine with an appetizer, they only brought it after I had already received my main course. When my dish arrived, I had to find the waiter and call him to add pepper and Parmesan. The service was very disappointing. My appetizer was burrata with meatballs. They should call it "rookie chef's disaster!" The Burrata looked and tasted like a wooden melted mozzarella, overheated to the point of no return. You have to have a talent mess up such a delicate cheese into something you can't even slice with a steak knife! I also ordered penne in truffle sauce with Portabella, but I could only taste bacon in the cream sauce. The sauce on this dish was identical to my appetizer's, just with added bacon. I came here with my mom after doing a final fitting for my wedding dress. We were looking for a place with good food and that would also lend to a celebratory feeling. Twigs was the absolutely perfect place. We were seated right away and got a great view of downtown, our server was a little busy but brought us water really fast and took our drink orders. Our visit happened to coincide with Inlander Restaurant Week so we decided to try their special three course menu. Both of us got something different that way we could share. Our server was awesome. She brought us extra side plates without asking to make sharing easier. The first course arrived with the baked focaccia and the blta salad. Those two dishes would have been enough for a very enjoyable meal. The focaccia was warm and soft with a nice little crunch to the bread. The cheeses and the tomatoes on top of it were very flavorful but the red sauce underneath was the stealth star of the show. It complimented the bread and just made the whole dish work wonderfully. The blta salad was fresh and not overly dressed and the bits of bacon and avocado were fantastic. The dressing I was a little worried about before I tasted it but it wasn't overly salty and complimented everything really well. For our mains we got the Pork Belly Risotto and the Ancho-Coffee Sirloin. The pork belly was crispy and the risotto perfectly cooked. The charred brussel sprouts that topped the dish were crispy. The sirloin was perfectly cooked and the asparagus was fresh and crunchy. It came with two amazing crispy polenta cakes that worked really well with the rest of the dish. Both were amazing but in order to try and save room we at about half and boxed the rest for amazing leftovers. Dessert was the Caramel Apple Bread Pudding and the Peanut Butter Mousse Cake. By this time we were both pretty full but of course we had to try both. The bread pudding was warm and a nice creamy texture that the apple pieces lended a great crunch to. The peanut butter mousse was decadent and rich and glorious. We strategically finished the bread pudding and saved most of the peanut butter mousse cake for later. It was hard not to just demolish them both. I really liked the fact that during our dining experience we weren't rushed at all. The courses were spaced out so well that we didn't feel hurried to finish one thing before the next arrived. Our server was fantastic checking back on how everything was and refilling drinks. It was such a great lunch and perfect for our little celebration. I would highly recommend Twigs for anyone looking for a great lunch. I have been here multiple times and the food is always amazing along with their service. It definitely is just a nice place to come and have some good food in good company. read more

Pretty disappointing experience. They were almost completely out of everything gluten free, even though they have an advertised gluten free menu, which was one of the main reasons we chose to eat here. We decided to stay and eat anyway, and ordered our food. When we received our food it was extremely cold, and yet the steak I ordered was extremely overcooked. All things considered, we likely won't be back, and you should probably avoid eating here also, unless you want to be really disappointed. read more

I found this place online b/c it had the word martini in the title! This restaurant is located inside the River Park Square mall on the 3rd floor. We sat alongside the outside window, which was cool and different b/c we were at the restaurant, but also in the mall at the same time! It ended up being happy hour, which was a happy surprise. I got the lemon drop martini and my husband got the Orange Clove Old Fashioned . We ordered the cesar salad to share, which was tasty. It had a lot of cheese, which for me wasn't good. Our server was very nice and attentive. It did take a while for him to bring my 2nd martini, I almost thought he forgot. The drinks were good. Went to your Downtown Spokane location on 8/18 around 2:50 PM and your staff couldn't be bothered to seat us. Your bartender saw us standing by the host counter but never acknowledged us after a few minutes. Nobody else seemed to care that we were standing up front for several minutes. Your restaurant wasn't even busy. I'm happy to support other businesses who want my money but you may want to have your staff actually do their jobs if you care to keep business. I'll be telling everyone not to go to your restaurant from here on out. read more

We recently stopped by the Twigs downtown for Restaurant week. I'd like to start off by saying we've always enjoyed the ambiance at this location. It's a nice place to stop after shopping, a movie or walking around downtown. We each chose something off the restaurant week menu. The entrees definitely could have used more flavor and the presentation was nothing special, if not underwhelming. We did enjoy the beignets, though they were heavily dusted with powdered sugar, which overpowered the delicate taste. What threw us a bit was the gratuity. The bill was presented pre and post "restaurant week discount", yet the suggested percentages were off. Even pre discount, they did not add up correctly. Please tell me your Toast server machines do not calculate gratuity on tax!!?? We like to be generous, but that just isn't right. I'll be paying better attention for this going forward. It seems a bit tricky. read more

My husband and I went there for happy hour and we were absolutely delighted. I had the lemon drop, he tried a mai tai but it was not very well-made, to tell the truth. He switched out the mai tai for their orange clove old fashioned, and we both just thought that cocktail was a chart topper. We ordered the Kalua pork tacos and the mezza plate to snack on. Man, I've missed Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar. I've spent so many nights here when I was attending college in the area; so when my bestie and I were in town for a long weekend, reliving our college days, we had to make Twigs one of our dinner spots. It only has improved. On a Friday night Twigs was the place to be, as the wait for a table out on the terrace was about 40 minutes. We decided to wait in the bar and have a martini until we were notified of a table, and sure enough, they let us know that a table became available much sooner than expected. Therefore, we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. My friend had a Huckleberry Lemon Drop and I had a traditional Twigs Martini with a twist. For dinner my friend ordered the Osso Buco while I ordered the Truffle Penne with Steak. My friend mentioned that for our entire trip in Spokane the osso buco was the best thing she ate! And it was amazing. I tried a bite of her meal and the meat was incredibly tender in such an aromatic marsala sauce. I also loved my truffle penne and was glad that it was abundant in truffle oil since I love truffle-flavored anything! The steak had a nice char to it, and really liked how creamy it all was. Meanwhile, the martinis were solid, so make sure you have a martini when you're at Twig's! But an absolute must to be had here is my favorite dessert in all of Spokane, the Sticky Cookie! They had Sticky Cookie back in my college days, so I was so stoked to learn that it still remains to be on the menu. It's basically a huge, soft chocolate chip cookie that is baked to perfection and comes with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauces. You're supposed to share and you really should since the portion is large and it's so sweet, but you won't want to. Get the Sticky Cookie! I love Twigs. I'm so glad to know that much hasn't changed with this wonderful restaurant in River Park Square, other than its expanded space with its bar area and terrace seating. Food is delicious, martinis are strong and the Sticky Cookies has me counting down the days 'til I'm back at Twigs again. read more

I would never go back here...I hate to give bad reviews, but this was not pleasant. Me and my mom stayed the night in Spokane because we were going to visit some family in ID. Due to COVID our options were slim and after wandering downtown we found Twigs which appeared to be a nice restaurant, so we stopped in. We sat by a large window which had a great view of the downtown area. Nick, our waiter was absolutely amazing, he is the only reason for that second star on my review. I felt terrible for sending items back, but he was kind and understanding and never frustrated with us. I hate to be a difficult guest, but I couldn't help it in this encounter. The drinks were terrible. I sent my margarita back because it tasted like straight sugary sweet and sour. I asked for a dirty martini, which then tasted like water. Nick was nice enough to get me another which then tasted normal. I ordered the Coulotte medium rare, my mom ordered the ahi tuna. Presentation was great, it looked very appetizing. My coulotte was cooked well done and the whole dish was very salty, which was unfourtinate because the flavor of the gravy with the meat would have been pleasant. My moms tuna was cooked well, but he dish was also extremely salty, to the point of not being able to eat any of the veggies. (and my mom LOVES salt). The manager never checked on our table despite the complaints, but our waiter offered an appetizer or desert, which we declined because the food was terrible and we just wanted to leave. The floor was also gross and dirty next to the table. There was also dirty rags and cleaning supplies on one of the tables right in the front of the restaurant, for everyone who checks in with the hostess to see. The server took off the margarita I gave back but we still racked up a $100 meal for TERRIBLE food. At least Nick was great! read more

Looooooved this place for a bite to eat and a few cocktails! Being able to sit by the huge window of the mall balcony area, was fun people watching time. The lemon drop martini was quite tasty! I thoroughly enjoyed our server, Keric I believe his name was. I apologize if I get it wrong. Anyways, he was very upbeat and explained the menu quite well for us. The flatbread bruschetta we had was very delicious. It was a great appetizer before we had to go off and meet others for dinner. Nice and intimate style seating in this very large restaurant. this place is good and fine I LOVED the fancy atmosphere, it made me feel fancy and grown up hehe. BUT. the mushroom grilled cheese was wayyyyy too salty. I love mushrooms very much and I love grilled cheese very much. But alas it was so very salty I didn't even keep my leftovers. I recommend editing that dish. Idk what that creamy white paste was, it was tasty but it was too much with all the other salty things in that sandwich. or maybe the prosciutto was too salty. but probably the white stuff.
