My dishwasher wasn't really getting my dishes as clean as they were a few months before. I called Dave and he was at my house within a day! First, he tried to save me money and gave me some tips on how to do so! Even linked me to a few You Tube videos to see if I could do it myself! I'm not so good at being a repairwoman so he came right away. David had my dishwasher fixed within the hour working better than it was before! Charged a pretty fair price and even ordred me some little clips for the dish drainer I had no idea were about to crumble! He came back a week later for free! I contacted him because he was relatively local & the reviews I read were good. Sadly, that was not our experience. He was here for 10 mins, told us that we had a problem that was too big a job for him but her referred me to another electrician that had a crew. Dave charged us $250 to tell us we had a problem which was something we knew before he came. The electrician he recommended did come by & told us he'd send a job estimate but he didn't follow up even though I contacted him several times. Finally, I asked him to just tell me if he wanted to pass on the job and he did. Feel ripped off. None of the others who have looked at the job charged us. read more

In calling other vendors to repair my washing machine, I found that they were not local and were actually more of a calling center who would seek a technician who covered my area. Can't say enough good things about Dave and his service. He is very responsive and prompt. He's there on time - even out of his normal service area. His expertise is amazing. It took about 30 seconds to diagnose the problem with my washing machine (would fill and agitate but wouldn't empty or spin). Dave had the machine disassembled and repaired in less time than it took me to type this review. He told me he's been doing this since he was 7 with his father. I believe it. i had issues with a kitchen switch for my ceiling light and also wanted to have my dryer vent checked and cleaned out. I called Dave to see if he was available and he was, he came to my home pretty quickly changed out the switch. Then checked my dryer vent and discovered the outside vent I was using was not a good choice for a dryer vent so he ordered a new vent and replaced that and reinstalled the hose from my dryer. i will definitely call him for any further electrical issues. We contacted Dave for several issues: reattaching the vent to our dryer, repairing a malfunctioning oven and troubleshooting an issue with our refrigerator. Dave responded by phone within 10 minutes of our initial telephone request. Although he could have ultimately charged us for all three problems, he texted and made multiple phone calls that same day and provided verbal instructions as to resetting the oven via tripping the circuit breaker. This corrected the oven problem and likewise resolved the fridge issue. Moreover, despite his busy schedule, Dave came by the very next morning, and within less than 1/2 hour, blew the dryer vent clean of debris and reattached it to the dryer. Notably, Dave saved us considerable money by instructing us how to fix the oven and fridge ourselves, thereby reducing his own profit by charging us less and minimizing our repair costs. Came to repair the freezer portion of our refrigerator which was holding the correct temperature but the defrost cycle was going on too often. By the time he left, the appliance was not working at all.....compressor gone. He claimed he did nothing wrong, charged us his full fee of $165, and we had to buy a new refrigerator. read more

Gave bs estimate for a repair of a couple hundred bucks for the ice maker. After 5 visits, he finally got it working, insisting we wouldn't have to pay til it was working correctly. By the time he was done, it was a $749 bill. And he said it was my fault because I diagnosed the problem as "the ice maker isn't working" which alleged led him to think that the supply line, no, the drop arm, no the electrical card, no, the whatever else wasn't working. Either get a firm price up front or call someone without a pricey divorce to fund. read more

I have called on Dave several times over the past 10 years. He has been here to fix my washer, dryer, and most recently my refridgerator. Each time he came very soon, after we spoke, there was never a delay, and he was on time. He gave me an honest opinion of the work needed, and each time, I have gone forward and gotten the job done by him. Recently my refridgerator was leaking from the auto defrost, and he suggested it may be a particular part on the phone, and scheduled appt for next day. When he started looking at where the leak was coming from, he explained it was probably a clogged drain line. He took it out, and snaked the line and put it back together. No parts, No excessive labor charges, just the original quote of the service call. It is fixed and working fine, and I didnt have to pay outrageous charges.
