Like most queen breeders worth their salt, I choose queens to breed from based on low mite counts, mite resilience, gentleness, honey production, longevity, etc. Nucs will consist of 5 frames of bees. Frames will be Langstroth Deeps made of wood (Mann Lake) with plastic foundation. All frames will be from wax drawn in 2018. Two to three frames will consist of brood in all stages, a feed frame of honey/pollen, and either a foundation frame or an empty comb frame. If managed correctly, they will give you a honey crop your first year. All queens will be grafted from my best queens of 2018, and are guaranteed to be mated and laying solid patterns. With package prices increasing yearly, a nuc is a better choice than ever. Quicker build up, bees that are guaranteed not to abscond (does happen), and a guaranteed laying queen. Bees will be sold in temporary cardboard nuc boxes. Pickup location is still to be determined. I can possibly deliver for a fee if ordering more than 10 nucs. To secure your nuc, please head over to my website to place a $50 non-refundable deposit. Email or call with any questions. If you're on social media, you can check out my beekeeping journey on instagram. I'm @statestreethoney Thanks, Todd
