I'll use it in a recipe or making salad dressing but right out to eat with the spoon would be a no way. I bought the dark honey at Heather Farm Maker Faire. I was stunned at tasting how good it tasted alone. The huge bonus is I have severe seasonal allergies. I've tried many local honey's before. This one works at the get go. I was having a sneezing attack from being outside. I didn't take the honey yet, but when I did my sneezing and runny nose stopped - dead on the spot! That's a wow. And the little dry jar of bee pollen I put in my hot drinks works too. They have other flavors/types too which now I'd really like to try. The trick now is to keep being able to find them to keep it in stock!

Do NOT buy bees from this 'company' Worst treatment of bees…read morethat I've seen in six years. Instead of receiving an established four frame Nuc this is what he sent. Two empty frames and two 3/4 full frames. No established brood, no stores of honey or pollen. Almost half of the bees had died in transit and the smell of decaying bees was overwhelming. Instead of being sent in a sturdy wooden box they were shipped in a single wall plastic box that did nothing to insulate or protect the bees in transit. His shipment was also delayed to five days due to poor packaging. His voice message box is constantly full and he very seldom answers his phone. Emails also goes days without being answered. So overwhelmingly sad for the bees that suffered at the hands of this company.

And the shop smells like the dog. There's dog fur on mostly all around the store and merchandise and corners of the store. I love dogs. I have two dogs myself. I still find that this type of management is not appropriate....especially the constant loud barking as we try to find the honey we need.
