I saw this shop coming into town to go on a backpacking trip, I was thinking about it mile after mile, eventually step by step as we got closer to the trailhead. No indoor dining. This is a food establishment with a few picnic tables outside. You pay at the booth and then you can eat outside or take it to go. It is conveniently located in town and has plenty of parking. They have a variety on the menu. The lady taking the order was pleasant enough. The lady handing out the food acted as if she didn't care if you existed. The kids cheeseburger was actually quite good and juicy. The corn dog tasted frozen. The tater tots were overly done. The huckleberry lemonade is something I could drink every day! We also had a root beer and a hot dog. The hot dog with mustard was good and the bread was soft and warm which was good. I'd say pass on the tots unless you ask for them to not be overdone. And perhaps I just had a bad corn dog. Price-it was $37!!!!!!! I didn't expect that high of a price. It seemed a lot for a kids cheeseburger, a corn dog, a hot dog, tots and two drinks. Maybe not but I've had dinner at a nice sit down restaurant for that price. And you're not given a receipt so I have no clue if we were overcharged. I'd give it another try but the next time I will try something different. read more

Food was what you'd expect from a little shack on the side of the road. They need to update their pricing. When we went, everything was $2-3 more expensive. Service was a little slow for it not being very busy when we went. read more

There food are delicious, it is greasy but in a good way. You can tell the burger is there compared to other burger places. There are less services like 4 or 5 people but that means they took type to make it perfectly. read more

Great stop if you're staying nearby or driving through. So great it had a line a few people deep every time we saw it. The food came out piping hot, watch out, let it cool off first. A fun place to stop by if you are in the area. We stopped by after a 3 day hike craving a shake and they delivered!! I got the peach shake which was so fresh and the best! Sorry to ruin the five star streak but this place is actually terrible. We waited in line half an hour (with only two families in front of us), then waited another half an hour for our food. That's an hour wait for about the most mediocre food you can get. Soggy tacos, dry burgers, watered down smoothies, frozen onion rings. They did have homemade chips and salsa which were pretty good. This place is excellent. The staff are kind and polite, and the food is exactly what you would hope it would be. People have gotten so used to commercial fast food that we forget just how pleasurable a real hamburger and hot order of fries can be. Stopped by for just ice cream and shakes. The shakes were generous size but thin enough to sip with a straw. I prefer my milkshakes to be so thick you have to eat them with a spoon. Delicious! Nothing fancy. You order from a window, wait for them to call your number and pick up at the other window. Variety of burgers, tacos, sides and ice cream. I got the mushroom Swiss burger. Really good. My husband for the Cajun burger and wished he had added jalapeños. Fries were pretty good. I read a review that said they were greasy? I didn't think they were greasy at all. Could use more salt. We also ordered the sundaes. I got the chocolate and my husband got the Irwin's. Very good! read more

A friendly little spot, and the burgers and fries were good, but it was really slow--there was one family ordering and a couple of other groups waiting for food when we arrived, and it took several minutes before we even made it to the window. The shakes came up in about 10 minutes and it was another 20 minutes for the food, which is hard to understand for 3 burgers and an order of fries. The burgers were tasty, but still basically fast food, not gourmet burgers. Fries were hot and crispy. The shakes were thick, but a little frosty and not very chocolatey. They have several picnic tables, all with some kind of shade cover, which was nice.
