I am compelled to share my disappointing experience with Dave's Pest Control Longwood at my apartment complex. Despite being the designated pest control service, they have failed to meet their contractual obligations, leaving me and other residents dealing with persistent pest issues. Since Daves took over our contract, the ongoing flea infestation has been inadequately addressed. To make matters worse, the problem since moving in has expanded to include snakes and various other bugs infiltrating my living space. According to my lease agreement, a monthly fee of $5 covers pest control services. Regrettably, Dave's Pest Control has consistently refused to provide effective treatment, resulting in an unsatisfactory living environment for residents. Their treatment strategy, involving a growth inhibitor and monitors, has proven ineffective and frustrating. They have demanded an additional $600 payment, which seems like an attempt to shift the financial responsibility onto residents. The treatment strategy appears intentionally designed to create obstacles and avoid necessary treatments, raising doubts about the effectiveness of their monitoring system. Despite documenting my complaints with Veer Apartments' front desk, providing detailed information about the ongoing issue, the resolution process has been slow and ineffective. I sincerely hope that this review prompts a thorough evaluation of the pest control services provided by Dave's Pest Control. As a resident, I believe my rights have been violated. read more

I have been with the company for 15 years. Any bugs seen inside are dead. Years ago I had problems with both red ants and "picnic" ants. The company kept after the problem until the ants were gone and they continue to be gone. Mark, the inside technician is personable, on time and efficient. As previously mentioned we have had no problems. He always reminds us that he is available if we need him for problems. Allen, our Senior Lawn and Ornamental Technician is also personable, efficient, and timely. We have some issues about the lawn but slowly the issues have been resolved with Allen's expert advice. We have used Dave's for three years now and are very happy. Mark Guilmette is our always friendly servicer and he is outstanding! Mark is always on time, professional, genuinely honest, and I love that he takes the time to text me the night before to remind me he's coming and verify time. Mark has helped us solve pest problems specific to our yard and location and always helpful and knowledgable in answering our questions. We moved to Port Orange a little over 9 months ago and knew we would need to have pest maintenance on a monthly basis due to the climate. Matt Conrad has been our technician during this time and we have been extremely happy with his service. He is always courteous and does an excellent job. Always asks if there are any concerns or issues. We are die hard Ohio State Football fans where he is a Michigan fan, so we have a very friendly rivalry during football season, of which we've won this year! Now they're doing a monthly pest control for my home that is extremely reasonable and affordable but what sets it apart from other companies is the team member that's taking care of my home. Anthony goes above and beyond. He's extremely courteous and friendly and on his very first visit he taught me things I didn't know. Very educational. Dave's staff that attends our property are phenomenal!! From day one when the initial guy came out to check out our property and give us the options to the regular that comes 4 times a year. Not one time have we had a bug in the year that we have had them now here since moving from the north. As much as we don't like spending money on extra things....now that we have moved to the south....this service has been a huge comfort to know you will not have a roach, a spider,....nothing!! We've been using Dave's Pest Control since buying our Port Orange home in 2011. Matt, our tech, is super friendly and always asks if we have any bug issues going on, etc. The quarterly service keeps our home pretty much Pest-free and if we do have an issue, such as 'ghost ants' last year, Matt made several trips out to take care of them.
