I also checked around and was told by two different towing companies that you do not tow motorcycles and you borrow towing companies' gear all the time. Plus when you figured you weren't going to come out, you didn't call me. You shot a text with a whole bunch of misspellings. I waited around for an hour, BTW. That's an acronym for "by the way".

Everything started very positive five stars, including him saying he would be billing our insurance for us for the tow, so it wouldn't be out of pocket but then things changed. first, we were never told how much the charges would be before hooking up our car, which is required by the Oregon State Board of Towing and Oregon towing laws. Second, he said that he couldn't take the car to the body shop of our choosing that night because they don't accept after hours drop-offs. this is a lie I called the body shop, and they told me they do, especially for our insurance company USAA. Jaden said he would store our car at his yard overnight then take it to the body shop Wednesday. I agreed to store it for one night but come Wednesday it never left his yard. (it finally left the yard 12/19/25) the yard fees were $110 a day, so in my opinion getting it to the yard was the goal in the first place. On Thursday when I asked when it was going to the body shop, he said he was waiting for the insurance to contact him. This is a lie, it is his responsibility to contact the insurance to start the payment process. I feel he was dragging his feet on purpose to increase the yard fees. On Saturday (with my patience almost gone) I asked once again to take it to the body shop, and I was told once again it wouldn't leave the lot until he got paid. Only then did I find out the bill at that point was $1025.55 which in it of itself is ridiculous for a simple flatbed tow, especially since it took him 5 minutes to load my car with help from the other tow company, and the other tow company did all the cleanup. (what little there was) I don't know what the final bill was, but I was told it was considerately higher than I was informed on Saturday. This company is shady, the owner operator (which I was told has a suspended license, but I don't know for sure, I heard this third party) is slimy, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Chose any other tow company but Central Towing. If you have no other choice and you are stuck using Central Towing, DO NOT let them take your vehicle to their yard. You may never see it again. I have no doubt the owners of this company will rebut this review, but I promise this is all true and I have witness to the acts as well as text messages from Jaden to prove what I say. Please heed my warning about Central Towing. This is an added part to my previous review: The owner said $1025.55 is completely justifiable and it may be, but my insurance company informed me that he submitted a $12,000 dollar bill to them. I don't believe that bill is justifiable. This is just one more thing that proves my feeling about his character.

It had to be brought back to their yard. At that moment I agreed as it was a time of chaos and we just needed it towed from where it was but just added more stress to the morning for us. We got the bill today and a $45 yard fee was added to our quote. Turns out they have a yard fee of $45 and that is for 24 hours. Our car was there 10 minutes. We were waiting when it was pulled in. We called and got told the fee was the fee and that's that. For 10 minutes. And then it got me thinking because in the past, maybe 4-6 times working towing companies, I've never been told that we could not have it towed somewhere. Why back to their yard? Isn't it just common sense that you are hiring a tow truck for a reason. To have it towed to your preferred destination? They did half of that. Oh and we paid for that... Highest towing bill we've ever gotten. It was snowing and they were busy. So not only did they not provide the service we needed, they fleeced us for another $45 on top of a huge towing bill. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

So I would have to pay two separate shops plus travel o Bend to get the body work done then get it painted by the paint shop. Fast forward : Stopped by "Car Medics" in Prineville and meet the owner Rich and Skyler (assistant). Rich gave me an estimate to paint do the body work and showed me his state of the art paint booth . Bottom line he did all the work there no traveling and the result was excellent. The cost was half the price of the other shops! Rich is an outstanding honest person,and a perfectionist. His right hand man Skyler is the same kind of guy!

They said because DMV had us listed as the Owner that's all that mattered. We immediately notified DMV so now that record shows we didn't own the car at the time of the tow. Trac still doesn't care, they immediately sent the bill to collections and I have no clue where the car is. After much research....this is a legal practice. Does that make it right? I don't think so and I will never give this company another dime because of it. Hopefully this helps someone else though. If you sell a vehicle...notify DMV immediately! You can be held responsible if the new owners don't do their part.

Wyatt, from BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB in Prineville, was friendly and helpful right from the start, assisting us over the phone in finding a towing service. He also agreed to repair our motorhome immediately. Other repair shops in Prineville wouldn't touch this type of vehicle and turned us away. Wyatt carried out the repair to our complete satisfaction. He discovered that not only was the ignition switch faulty, but a ground wire connected to a defective relay had also been severed. He professionally replaced all the necessary parts. A few days later, our motorhome broke down again. This time, the cause was completely different: the fuel pump inside the gas tank had failed. We had ourselves towed once more--naturally to BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB, as we knew we could count on their expertise. Working with his brother Dusty, Wyatt partially drained the fuel tank, lowered it using jacks, and replaced the faulty fuel pump with a new one--an authentic Winnebago part, no less. They did all of this outdoors in 95°F heat. We highly recommend BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB; they are the best mechanics we have ever encountered. After all, we have been traveling in various motorhomes across Europe, North America, South America, and Australia since 1984 and have dealt with many mechanics along the way.
