You see...for the majority of my life, I've had chronic sinus infections (like 3 to 4 a year), and I finally made a huge decision that will benefit for years to come. Before I talk too much about the care here, I just want to shout out to the office staff at Englewood ENT. They are always accommodating, and the online appointment feature makes it a breeze to schedule things online. By the time I was through with my procedure, the staff got to know me personally - and that is something you need when going through an intense medical procedure. While all the doctors here are wonderful, Dr. Ojo is really special. Her bedside manner is calm and informative, and she patiently explains everything while you ask questions. Over the years we've gotten to know each other a little more (especially since I saw her the most this year), and not only is she an awesome doctor, but a wonderful person, too. (I know that being a great physician is top priority in every medical case, but it doesn't hurt to support someone who is genuinely awesome!) My sinus journey is a long one. As I mentioned, I grew up having chronic sinus infections - perhaps one or two per season. Most people only get one or two of them in their lives. I would fall into this pattern of seeing urgent care doctors, they would give me a z-pac which wouldn't be strong enough, and the infection would be reoccurring. By the end of winter, I would be so badly infected that I would go into Dr. Ojo's office and she would kindly and playfully admonish me on why it took me so long to get to her office. This year, she picked up on this pattern and we realized that for the past 5 years or so, I would come to her every year (nearly to the same day, around Valentine's Day) with a terrible sinus infection that's brewed all year. She's always mentioned that I should consider getting my deviated septum fixed, but I was always scared of the surgery. This year, however, I happened to have five sinus infections from November to April (plus the flu thrown in there), and Dr. Ojo recommended a CT scan to see what was going on. Turn's out, my deviated septum was way worse than anyone could have imagined - it was so bad that she asked if I got into a car accident or got hit in the nose with something. After many years of dealing with infections and antibiotics, I finally made the jump and entrusted Dr. Ojo to do the surgery - and I am so glad I did! It is an outpatient surgery (you can see my review of the place on my profile), and you will be recovering for about 10 days, plus follow up appointments in the weeks to come. Most people associate sinus surgery with black eyes and a swollen face - not so with Dr. Ojo! She has the magic touch and my post-op went great without complications. Most people couldn't even tell I had surgery, even days after it was all said and done. It is pretty amazing that she knows how to perform such an intense surgery in a compact and delicate area. I am officially 9 weeks post-op and have never felt better! I can BREATHE through both nostrils, which I've never been able to do in my life! And I am SO ready to get a common cold like everyone else! If you are consider such a surgery, I can't recommend Dr. Ojo enough. She really changed my life for the better! Not to mention, this whole thing reminds us of how important it is to see an ENT when it comes to things like colds and allergies.

This place has somewhat limited insurance options but I took a chance and paid out of pocket based on some of the positive reviews I saw and I was glad I came here as the whole place was well organized, clean and the wait time was minimal. The staff was also very friendly and well informed. My followup appointment with the audiologist was also without fuss and I was in and out very quickly and I got the results right away. This place is definitely very good so you know you'll get quality care, but just make sure you check in advance to make sure you have a good idea of insurance options just to make sure you don't end up paying more than you expect to. The folks here are very helpful with that.

Nonetheless, my surgery was prepaid in full, which the doctor requires to book the date, which is odd to me but nonetheless, guess what? Fighting to get my money back. Imagine that. I didn't have surgery yet they don't want to give me back over 20k. I have sent multiple notes to the office demanding my money back and still nothing. Thankfully I can dispute it with my credit card company. Extremely extremely disappointed in this experience.

Dr. Tadros performed a rhinoplasty and a then a revision rhinoplasty on me years ago…read more I trusted her and she gave me the exact opposite of what she promised me. She told me what I wanted to hear in my consultations, acted like the most confident surgeon ever and then had no idea what she was doing. My first surgery had poor results which she offered to fix at no cost to me. When she tried to fix it, she only made it worse. She has permanently altered my confidence and I struggle with accepting my appearance daily. In the attached picture, photo 1 is my original nose. I wanted to remove the bump and have a straight nose with no slope (as pictured in photo 2). Photo 2 is a digitally altered photo that was provided to me by a surgeon I consulted before using Dr. Tadros. Dr. Tadros was shown photo 2 as a reference and promised me that this is the result I would get and it would have "NO SLOPE". Photo 3 is the work of Dr. Tadros. She probably has forgotten all about me by now..... but I think about her every day.

I had a severe deviated septum that impeded my ability to breathe through one nostril, prompting me to schedule surgery with him. Now, a week post-operative, I am experiencing remarkable improvement. Despite being recommended by several people, my first visit with him--accompanied by my two children who are experiencing developmental delays--was disappointing. He quickly dismissed our concerns and instead launched into stories about his travels, concerts he's attended, and vacations he's planning. That should've been my cue to find another ENT, but unfortunately, I returned--both for my kids and myself. The billing department is another nightmare. I received a bill for a procedure that was never performed. When I called to dispute it, I was told the procedure had indeed taken place and that I owed $276. I think I'd remember having a camera shoved up my nose, but apparently, they insist it happened--and now I'm stuck with the bill. The wait times are just as bad. Don't expect to be seen on time, and if your appointment is later in the day, forget about making it home for dinner. Overall, the doctor comes off as self-absorbed and far more interested in chatting about snowboarding with his family than listening to your medical issues.

I had a very disappointing experience with this provider. I had taken the time to write down my…read moresymptoms and timeline because I was anxious and wanted to make sure I communicated everything accurately. Almost immediately after the visit started, I was repeatedly interrupted and the provider began making assumptions about my situation before I had the opportunity to explain the full picture. I understand that she ultimately felt I needed to be evaluated at urgent care and that some things cannot be appropriately evaluated through telehealth. I have no issue with being advised to seek in-person care. My concern was the way the conversation was handled. When I asked if I could please finish explaining so she could have the complete picture, I felt dismissed rather than listened to. When you're already anxious about a health concern, being able to speak to your healthcare provider and feel heard is extremely important. I left the visit feeling more frustrated and dismissed than reassured. I hope this is something that can be addressed because patients deserve to feel listened to, even when the ultimate recommendation is to seek care elsewhere.
