Dr Anderson and Dr Elders had a new tool (Lazer?) and saved the sight. All pet owners should remember no matter how knowledgeable they are, not all procedures are successful. All of the vets there are absolutely amazing. They always have him on the road to recovery pretty fast. We have to go about 3/4 times a year for critical illness. They always have his best interest and health as top priority, so traveling an hour there is never a problem for us. The regular vet in our area highly recommends them for specialty/critical care.

The first appointment was free and first flea treatment was free. We saw Dr. Whetstone and staff. They were awsome. So awsome in fact, I'll keep going back. He told me to give Susie 2 ml 3 times daily for 1 week, then to reduce the amount to 2 ml given twice daily on the next week. But, the prescription bottle said to give the lactulose for UP TO 7 days AS NEEDED! I only gave her 2 ml of the lactulose twice daily for 3 days. While she did produce a normal cat stool, she completely stopped eating and drinking water! Needless to say, I stopped the lactulose. Then, I called Vetco Total Care in Port Orange, FL and left a detailed message. Dr. Stuart James never returned my call! Also, I need to mention that I was not allowed to go into the room where Dr. Stuart James examined my cat, Susie. I was told to stay by myself in a room & the doctor would come in to talk to me when the examination was done. I've owned cats for my entire life, (and I'm 68 years old). I have ALWAYS been beside my cats during an examination at every other veterinary I've been to. You can do better than this! I will NEVER return to Vetco Total Care!!
