Super grateful for an amazing experience with Dr Bray and team. A year ago I slipped in the shower. I needed 12 stitches over my eye and broke my nose in 2 places. My breathing was impacted and my nose was disfigured. I wasn't sure what to do and wasn't sure if I could even get it fixed. I went to a couple doctors and just didn't have a good experience. One month ago I had a face and neck lift by Dr. David Bray MD. I have never had a procedure that the entire team was so excellent. Dr. Bray is a superb doctor. He has a great staff in his office. The anesthesiologist was wonderful spent a long time and reviewed my medical history to assure my safety . The surgery center was super clean, great Nurses, especially Yolanda. My surgery went well with no complications. I had consulted with several Surgeons in Beverly Hills and I chose Dr. Bray based on his credentials and became impressed as he has three board certifications. I had a routine consultation scheduled for 3:00pm for a lump in my face. Could be a cyst could be cancer. Can't tell until it is removed. The office manager called at 3:07 when I was in the PARKING LOT to ask if I was close to the office or if I wanted to reschedule. Their "protocol" I confirmed is to call and check 10 minutes after the scheduled time to check to see if the patient is near. I walked into the office at 3:10 exactly. The office lady told me that, "I will have to see if the doctor has time to still see you." After wasting no less than 10 minutes of the office manager playing go between back and forth with the doctor in the back the determination was made that either I schedule for a month out or take a referral to a new office. If you understand any doctor's office, you know that 10 minutes late isn't a reason to play with a patient's health. I wouldn't suggest a doctor with these types of ethics. He would rather have his office manager go back and forth for 10 minutes trying to decide if they were going to see me or not when it was a 10-minute consult at best. The office receptionist was nice, so that was the only positive part. I took the referral to the next office to help me remove this lump from my face. Absolutely ridiculous to think I would reschedule a month out with this doctor. It was clear I wasn't his ideal patient so he passed on a basic consultation. Shame on you Dr. Bray. Well - I will be 70 in July and I was motivated to get this work done (maybe should have done it sooner - just to enjoy the results longer)! Initially, I was quite concerned about the lower face and neck procedure, especially since I was having it done under local anesthesia. But frankly, it was not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. The healing was remarkably pain free and after 10 days, you could hardly tell there was any surgery. Dr. David Bray is an incredible plastic surgeon. I was referred by another friend who had recently gone to him. When I was evaluating which plastic surgeon to choose, Dr. Bray stood out among the crowd for various reasons - he was so different from the Beverly Hills surgeons that just "assumed" what I wanted to be done. He is also triple board certified. Over 12 years ago I got breast implants from a surgeon in Orange County. I was approaching the "10 year" mark and decided that I either needed to get my implants redone or take them out forever. I had experienced pain/discomfort for a few years and decided to get them out. From the beginning, Dr. Bray was super kind and patient. He listened to my goal, needs, wants, and laundry list of questions. After listening to me, he gave me his expert opinion and talked me through a few choices. When you explant, you have a lot of choices - only explant, explant and lift, and explant and fat graft. I assessed all options with Dr. Bray and never felt pressured to go one way. He was great throughout the pre-op process. He was timely to all of my appointments and was super professional. He never made me feel uncomfy or uneasy about surgery. I can't thank Dr Bray Jr enough! I had breast reconstruction along with my eyes done. One week post surgery and I feel great. His staff is so nice as well. Was not pleased. I went in thinking I would do a breast lift....had two consultations with other doctors and decided on an implant. Biggest mistake. For one, I feel the doctor should have encouraged me to go smaller as my breasts wound up sagging even more. Also, he did not provide me with information on what symptoms to be aware of with capsular contracture which is what I wound up having. By the time I saw him it was too late to treat with medication and he told me to wait another 7 months!? Was referred to another doctor and had them removed. Also, Rose his front desk assistant gave me wrong information at the beginning which wasted my time looking for a massage I didn't need as well as other issues I had.
