I price shopped because I'm frugal, and they came out the least expensive, and had good reviews. When I agreed and went to sign the paperwork there was a one time $300.00 fee to work with Virtue 1st. I was disappointed, and felt a bit cheated, but agreed because I like to keep my business with companies I regularly work with. The second issue is that I had a really tough time communicating with the agent. I would ask a question which I felt was pretty direct or even yes/no, but the answer would be a 20 minute discussion, which sometimes left me more confused than I was before. I've been working with insurances as an Office Manager for multiple companies for over a decade, so this really threw me off. It got so bad that I actually dreaded being on the phone with the agent. My policy was set to renew in March 2020. I never received any paperwork from the agent or the carrier. After a month, I reached out to the agent to inquire about my policy. I received no response. Two urgent emails and two urgent phone calls were left. I still heard nothing. I finally reached out to the carrier and after quite a hassle, they were able to find me a new agent. I don't know if it was the carrier who dropped the ball, or the agent, but I feel like the agent should have at least responded! I do realize that many businesses have been hurt by the pandemic, but our company had 2 major projects that were negatively impacted by this lack of response. To this day, I haven't received a response.

Priscilla requested everything she needed to get a 4 month profit & loss done that was needed for our liability audit coming up. We supplied her immediately with everything she asked for and also six years of our P&L history so she can see what was being deducted in the passed and had this info to check her work to see if she has everything down. after over a month I contacted Priscilla to check in. I had to call several time to get a hold of her as she is always on the phone or to busy to take you call or answer emails. Another month passed with no contact so I contact her again and she tells me the P&L is complete but need to go threw someone else to check it. OK almost a month later I call over and over again until I get a hold of Priscilla and she tells me its complete and to come pick it up.. you would think she would of call ME but that it is obviously how she runs her business. When we finally received the P&L it had nothing on it! Priscilla has $270.00 down TOTAL for ALL our utilities for 4 months. power. water, gas. We are a manufacturing company and 2 days of power alone is over $200.00. Priscilla had no C.C. charges deducted that the company charged everything to, no gas or insurance for the company vehicles deducted, no liability insurance deducted. No lease payment for 4 month was deducted. Nothing! it was like Priscilla had no clue what she was doing! Priscilla was also told ALL our sales are online from Amazon, Etsy, Ebay etc. and not one fee from any of these sites are deducted. These are basic right offs that Priscilla could not get right that anyone that knows taxes would of known right away that these are missing and this also went threw someone else to view according to Priscilla! I contacted Priscilla regarding all her mistakes that we paid her for and she had nothing to say. Not even sorry. Priscilla took no responsibility for her mistakes and left it as it was and did not try to fix anything. We also told her she had no depreciation schedule down for over 200K of equipment that she had the list for that the incorporation purchased years ago. Priscilla reasoning for not including these deductions in our P&L was because the incorporation purchased the equipment used and we would need to go find ALL the passed Owners of the equipment we purchased used and see if any of the passed owners had a business and already wrote them off before she would give us the deductions even if we had to go back 25 years Priscilla said. And if we found that someone did wrote it off that we could not use it because they did. This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in the 25 year in business. Odiously after this remark from Priscilla we left running and never looked back! our new professional accountant could not use ANYTHING that we paid for and supplied by LH Harris CPA or Priscilla. We projected in less then 3 yrs we would of been bankrupt and out of business if we stayed with Priscilla and her accounting skills. Priscilla seemed more in helping the IRS then saving her clients on basic right offs. We would not recommend this company.

We had an audit nightmare a few years ago & Larry fought long & hard for almost a year on our behalf, all the way to appeals in SF. Because of his knowledge, finesse & diligence it ultimately worked out in our favor. We are convinced that without him in our corner, we would have had a very different result.
