She never disclosed rates, fees, or any general costs associated with my spouse or me, then said "we wont know the total until it's all said and done." After weeks of Christine "double amd triple checking" her work at my cost (which still needed my attention to detail to catch HER ERRORS), and re-creating my entire tax return (which was a burden of her system, not in my control), they charged us $1200 for an amendment. I was pressured to pay, never given an itemized bill, and was given an "it is what it is" attitude. After paying to get my amendment filed, I disputed the charge with my bank for being overcharged for services rendered. I just received a check from the IRS because the crooks rescinded the amendment out of spite. Luckily, I have my copy of everything they did so I can simply recreate the forms and mail them out with a fresh check. If you need a tax preparation service, youd be better off with a chicken pecking at a keyboard while on the TurboTax website than to ever trust Christine Caperton to touch your documents. ​
