Unfortunately, the laser scar revision sessions I had did not work out for me and made my skin tremendously worse and more uncomfortable. Dr. Weber didn't do anything wrong, as he just did his job. However, please be careful when doing any laser work and start slowly and with low settings. You can always go more intense later. It's better than burning your skin and turning it into intensely hot and painful redness. I've had to get psychiatric help and be medicated to help deal with the anxiety and depression. The decision to get laser surgery ruined my life and the permanent redness and burning from Dr. Weber's lasers makes living extremely hard. Please be careful. I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone is on the fence about laser work. Be careful; you probably look fine, and things can get way worse from laser work. What was once a small minor scar has turned into something infinitely worse.

My local optometrist in Wyoming examined me and said that the left lid was affecting vision. It looked bad enough to consider surgery using my heath insurance. She recommended Dr. Michael McCracken in Parker, CO, south of Denver. I drove four hours to consult with Dr. McCracken. He and his staff welcomed me to their beautiful office, and gave me a thorough exam to determine my vision limitations. They explained the process of submitting the exam results to my insurance company and also told me what to expect if I decided to go forward with the procedure. I also had concerns about my right eyelid. The doctor explained that, while not as droopy as my left lid, it was deteriorating. He recommended fixing it and balancing my eyelids. The cost of fixing the right lid was reasonable, and for me, totally worth not looking lopsided anymore! Day of surgery, I was understandably nervous. The staff and Dr. McCracken could not have been more reassuring. I took my prescribed sedative one hour before the surgery, and I was only vaguely aware of what actually happened. Recovery was a little rough because of expected swelling and bruising, but I followed directions and healed up nicely. Two follow-up visits were included, and I drove down to the Denver area and enjoyed myself after my appointments. I now have much better peripheral vision, and I look great! Highly recommend Dr.McCracken!

From the look of this it appears that this group is running a high end sell shop. Your reps make the sale or 'pitch' but have no expertise. Doctors then only choose the most renumerative cosmetic procedure. Certainly your hippocratic oath to do no harm or perhaps guide those in need is missing. My guess is that there are a lot of unhappy outcomes. In short unless you are only 8 tersted in expensive cosmetic work dont come here. I have no idea about the quality of their work but my experience has red flag all over it.

Dr. Pilkington helped me develop a comprehensive treatment plan to clear up my skin fast. Prior to meeting with her, I was on Proactiv; it took some convincing, but she eventually converted me to prescription products, which, much to my chagrin, worked much better. Then, I was switched from VitaClear (Proactiv's vitamin/mineral supplement) to Skin Accumax, another game changer. Next, I was subjected to cautery on my sebaceous glands, which was initially very painful on my skin (to me it felt like I was getting stung by wasps), but a magical buzz device made it relatively painless. Finally, I did microneedling with Tegan Ryan to attenuate my acne scars. Throughout this entire process, I e-mailed Dr. Pilkington several questions -- she always responded the very same day. Tegan Ryan is the only aesthetician I've ever had, but she is without question the best. Microneedling was a little scary to me at first (just the sound of it made me cringe). Tegan put me at ease with her calm demeanor as well as lovely conversation -- I didn't feel any pain whatsoever even though she made me look like she'd just beaten me in an MMA fight. After three sessions of microneedling, several scars have not only diminished but practically disappeared! Upon completing the above comprehensive skin treatment plan over the course of just a few months, my skin looks much more youthful, I dare say like Dr. Pilkington's and Tegan's. I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.

The first Surgeon I spoke to had been recommended by 2 close family members, he thought I was an excellent candidate for a Facelift.. I had never mentioned anything about my face, after reminding him why I was there, he said it would be no problem and recommended a leg lift. I determined that he didn't understand my leg lymphedema and I was worried about recovery. I went home and started doing my own research and found Dr Dash. She came highly recommended, her clients felt heard, felt involved, felt safe and respected. This is especially important with us Seniors, we are often not heard or seen.
