Not knowing anyone who does this kind of work and looking online for prosthodontics in my area did not result in many recommendations. My friend, Valerie Juzwiak, recommended Dr. Beckwith, as she had gone to school with him. I called Cornerstone and spoke with a knowledgeable, compassionate woman, Linda. I explained what was happening and how upset I was about the situation; she quickly arranged for a consult with Dr. Beckwith. After scans and xrays, it was worse than expected; both bridges had failed, left and right sides, and I had a sinus infection. Dr. Beckwith had more of an idea of what he was dealing with and developed an agreeable action plan. I spoke with Linda numerous times about my anxiety and hesitation about having such a procedure and how this was so life-changing. Linda was very understanding, empathic, and caring; she took me thru all the steps I should expect and things I didn't even think of and answered all my questions. Dentistry has changed, it's not what you might remember, and this office is state-of-the-art. On the day of surgery, Linda, Lisa, and Dr. Beckwith ensured that I was comfortable and not experiencing pain. The procedures took over seven hours; it was a lot of work. Overall, the whole experience was great, from the preparation to the procedures, and while the healing process continues, it's a lot better than I was expecting.

If you are considering any kind of dental work, consider no more!! Go and do it , and do it with , CORNERSTONE DENTAL!! I had Implants and Crowns put in . My whole upper , and bottom was done !! A very big job by any means .. The Dr. sat with me , and told me straight up what he thought I needed to do , and then I told him what I was looking to do ! We agreed , the only thing I was afraid of was having a plate in my mouth that came in & out during the duration , which would be about a year . This great Dr. made me a plate for the upper teeth , that stayed in permanently until he took it out in the office . Not only did he take the fear away , he saved my dignity . He really did go out of his way to make sure I was happy every step of the way !! He is very professional , he talks to you with respect , and he LISTENED to what I wanted !! Not what he thought would look good ! I wanted Hollywood White ! Another dentist told me that wasn't natural looking!! I didn't want to look natural! This wonderful Dr. delivered exactly what I wanted !! As for his staff , you couldn't ask for better !! Every call is answered with a pleasant voice on the other end ,! The dental assistant are extremely kind and very knowledgeable. They know your nervous and they alway make you at ease .. I must shout out to Linda ! She is the women you will sit down with and talk about pricing . There was no hidden cost , no surprises at the end ! I paid as we went along , she never once asked me for a payment, ( like some places, want the money before you walk in ) As you may know , implants are a little costly , but worth every penny ! She is always smiling , answered all my questions , even when I called her personal phone by accident ! So my friends , you will not be disappointed , I was not even for a minute ! The doctor and dental hygienist were nice but unfortunately my autistic son tried to scratch them and he quickly said " I'm sorry but I can't". He does sedation dentistry but suggested another doctor Lichtenstein who doesn't accept insurance and does general anesthesia in Holmdel NJ. I wish he could've helped us but I'm sure he would've if he tried.

The office atmosphere is relaxed, yet professional. Wait times are short; I don't think I ever waited even 10 minutes to be called in. Dr. Lukenda is very knowledgeable and welcomes questions from his patients, addresses any and all concerns. He has a great bedside manner and delivers thorough and high quality care. I recently had a dental emergency while on vacation which necessitated a call to his emergency line. He called me right back and reassured me and soothed my worries. The office staff accommodated me with a quick appointment as soon as I returned from my trip. I'm so glad I found him and definitely recommend him if you are looking for a new dentist!

I chose a dentist close to me, and it was going OK for the first two years, with the same dentist every time, and then the revolving dentist door started, and they messed my tooth up so bad. I wish I never left Dr. Kubinak to be honest. But with arms wide open, Dr. Kubinak took me in right away ASAP, first appointment he could, and through two separate sessions, I got my tooth under control again. I AM SO GRATEFUL. Tooth pain is no joke. I completely felt taken care of in his hands, I trust him completely. A week later after the root canal (which btw was the most GENTLE root canal I've ever had), he said I might have some pain from all the work...but nothing at all!
