I had a great experience working with John on my speeding ticket case. From the start, he provided…read moreclear, practical advice and made the whole process feel much less stressful. He was professional, responsive, and really knew how to handle the situation effectively. Thanks to his expertise, my ticket was completely dismissed, which I truly appreciate. It's obvious he cares about his clients and puts in the effort to get the best possible outcome. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone dealing with traffic violations--you'll be in very good hands.

I found John's practice through another review here on Yelp. The review gave the impression that…read moreJohn was easy to work with, direct in nature and achieves results. After having his team represent me on a traffic violation, I can wholeheartedly agree with that assessment. Last November, I was stopped in Colma, CA for speeding. Let me first back up and state that I drive fast...sort of. I'm not excessive with my speed, but I don't dilly-dally either. In other words, I won't drive 50 in a 35, but I don't coast off the line after a red light. I accelerate to my cruising speed. When I was stopped last year, it was the first time a LEO walked up to my car and virtually shoved the radar device in my window to "show me proof" that he clocked me going that fast. It was odd enough that I challenged the validity of it with the LEO. Because I decided to fight it, I knew I needed a professional because I've never fought a ticket before. When I first contacted John, he was clear and direct as to what his team would and could do. He stated several times the hierarchy they would seek. Next, he told me how and when they would communicate with me. Now, this is the only area that gave me anxiety because I'm a stresser. I stress when I don't need to stress. So, when four months went by without contact, I started stressing a bit. Right about the time I was going to reach out, John sent me an update that everything was on track and the trial had been scheduled. Fast forward another four months and here we are. John sent me an email this morning that my case was dismissed. The bottom line is that John is worth every penny and his fee isn't very expensive to begin with. I know I could have simply paid the fine and taken traffic school, but I didn't feel like I was guilty and the cost was a wash. No traffic school and I didn't have to do anything. That's a win every day of the week for me. If you need representation for a traffic case, John is your guy!!! He is mine!!

I was searching for legal representation for a traffic infraction case in Santa Rosa Superior…read morecourt. Of the half dozen or so attorneys I reached out to, Julia was one of only two to respond. Even though the case (small potatoes) and the location is not within her geographic area or practice area, Julia went above and beyond to assist me with recommendations and referrals. This kind of concern and follow through is exactly the kind of qualities I believe are essential for effective Legal professionals to exhibit.

This will be the first time ever I've taken the time to write an online review. Julia was a Godsend…read moreand I give her permission to provide my phone number to anyone considering her services so I can tell you more. Short Story: Julia gave me great advice, explained everything clearly and concisely, proactively kept me informed, gave me shortcuts whenever possible and DIDN'T CHARGE ME a CENT! I told her I was happy to pay her, but she refused. I hope I never have to hire her, but if I, or anyone I know needs a criminal defense attorney I will hire her. I've been both providing and using professional services business for 20 years and never had such a positive experience. My story: I was arrested for a first time DUI even though I blew .06 twice the breathalizer. As a first-timer I was completely ignorant about the process. I had some pills in my purse that the CHP thought were illegal, even though the Drug Recognition Expert confirmed they were nothing. CHP arrrested me for DUI - alcohol and drugs, child endangerment because my 14 year old son was in the car and posession of dangerous drugs, which is a felony. I spent the night in jail trying to stay warm and sleep on a concrete floor while sober. Not fun. I spoke to 8 other attorneys before Julia all of whom scared the sh-- out of me. Each of them pressured me to hire them and pay a non-refundable fee ($2,500-$3,500) before the 10 day DMV request for a hearing date. I heard everything from "don't call the DMV yourself", to "child protective services could get involved", to "stop talking to anyone else", to "you should hire me before they press charges because I can influence the DA", to :this is complicated and defintely could end up in court," to "best case would be reduce felony to misdemeaor" and much more. Finally I spoke to Julia. She said the case was absolutely ridiculous, I don't need an attorney and they will probably drop the case. She checked with the DA to see if charges were filed, clearly explained the way Marin County evaluates these kinds of cases and -- without promising anything -- she immediately put me at ease. She gave me the back door number to the DMV, told me to call and request a hearing myself and told me exactly what to request (meeting far away and in person) just in case I was charged. She gave me a timeframe to expect an answer from the DA and told me to call her in a few days. Before I had a chance to call, she PROACTIVELY followed up with ME!!! Yes, gasp! Charges had not been filed, she just wanted me to know. As soon as she found out the DA didn't charge, SHE CALLED ME again to tell me the news. But wait, there's more. The DMV hearing was still looming and I had no idea how they would call it. She gave me the back door number and instructions to call records department, and I found out my blood was .03% and I blew .06% TWICE! The DMV told me unless it was .08% it would be dropped. Everything was dropped and I am home free. Nuff said.

The HOA was being very unreasonable and showed no intent to resolve the issue. I searched for and met with a few lawyers through multiple sources. Due to my lengthy involvement with the HOA, most lawyers could not grasp the overall situation very clearly, and some didn't think we had a chance against our HOA. Not only did David understand the situation after only an hour-long meeting, but he had the right spunk. David provided me with several strategies and helped write several letters to the HOA. He had a knack for calling out the situation as it was and put a spin to it. After several attempts to escalate the situation, I was able to come to a reasonable compromise with the HOA. This resulted in time and money saved because we avoided litigation, which at certain points seemed inevitable. I highly appreciate David's help during this great ordeal. David has a candor that makes working with him a pleasure. His humor also diffuses the tension of the situation. I highly recommend anyone who has to deal with an irrational HOA to reach out to David.

Highly recommend!
