I was informed of the price beforehand. Safelite took every measure to assure that the cost was covered by insurance. While the repair was ongoing, I was kept apprised of the progress. Staff were friendly and helpful. The warranties are reassuring, though I hope not to have to make use of them.

Have used them in the past for a window that got shattered on my wife's car and my wife's new car had a chip in the windshield and DAG came out and changed out the windshield. Nothing but good things to say about the people and the work they do. The only gripe I can remotely say I have is with the waiting room. I'm a big guy and waiting for my truck I waited and the waiting room is pretty sparse with what seems like old school house desk chairs. Just upgrade the chairs and it would make a big difference.

Requested a replacement windshield and got an aftermarket nonconforming windshield, had to wait…read moreextra days for install as they ordered the wrong windshield originally even going by vin#, the second windshield was at least partly right equipped for a HUD but again wrong as I later found out they ordered a non acoustic windshield as is factory and they managed to break my hud projector and would not try to correct any of their mistakes. Terrible value for the services rendered. (or lack of services). To sum it all up, they ordered the wrong windshield...twice installed the second wrong one, broke my HUD and would not try to fix anything they did. Definitely cannot recommend. Worse still is that I was referred by two different dealers to them...never again.

However the guys still needed a different ladder in order to reach better. They left and said they would return in 30 minutes. 75 minutes later no return so we called the office. They tried to contact the service tech, but no answer. So we're left with a window that is not sealed and we don't have a ladder to reach that area.

They proceeded to exceed any that I might've had in my mind. Workers were friendly and the manager was "hand-on" (forgot his name). Worse than just being incompetent, they refuse to take responsibility. They destroyed my vehicle by incorrectly installing a Mercedes windshield (after trying to get over by using non-OEM generic glass), they damaged my paintjob with chemicals and the defective installation led to water damage including oxidation below the floor board, mildew of the interior and electrical failure.

The person came out and took measurements and asked about hardware color. Per this man we would have an estimate within two days. I followed up in the showroom as I had questions about style and type. I was told what I wanted would be too heavy for my acrylic tub. I asked that a suggestion be made that would suit my needs and not have this as an issue. After about a week, another follow up visit to the showroom, and a phone call or two I was quoted a handsome price for the exact model I was told would crack my tub.‍‍‍‍
