Since I wrote my last review, I have seen Dr. Perry in the Orthopedic Medical Center office and he…read moredid surgery on my ankle at West Hills Hospital. The first time I saw him was in the Professional Orthopedics office across from the hospital. He has continuously fixed my ankle and foot problems. He knows everything there is to know about them and his diagnostic skills are the best I have ever seen - I went to a few other doctors before going to him and none of them were even one-tenth as good as he is. Highly recommended. He is only in this office one day a week, Wednesdays usually, but it was usually not hard to get an appointment with him. But because he is only there Wednesdays, all of his patients kind of come there at one time and you will definitely have a wait before he gets around to you. It's always worth the wait though and the staff are very nice. The office is very busy because all of the doctors there are good and really popular - it's funny they don't have more reviews on here but I think most of their patients are old and are probably not online or just not into writing reviews. If you break or sprain your ankle or foot, see Dr. Perry. He'll know how to fix it immediately and get you back up and running ASAP.

He had the audacity to ask me how long I had been a doctor to disagree and I told him I had been questioning one for 20 minutes. My auric Acid level twice were normal and they can be normal when you have gout but he stormed out of the hospital room stating I didn't want any help. Upon discharge I drove to providence Tarzana Hospital and was immediately taken in for surgery for NECROTIZING FASCIITIS, a deadly and serious infection. I almost lost my leg. But Dr. Perry, you still think you're right with the Gout. There also were no crystals found when they opened my foot. He is a pompous ass.

Amazing! My husband was in pain from a work injury for 10 yrs! He had herniated and bulging discs…read moreas well as stenosis in some of the foramen all in the vicinity of C6, C7, C8 & T1 Before allowing the orthopedist to hack my husband, we went for a 2nd opinion-he met a lady in Costco who had recent neck surgery and she recommended Dr. Taban literally called him God! It took 3 months to get into see him for consultation but we'll worth the wait! My husband was only 40 at the time and after going over his imaging and history he suggested something much different than what Dr. Grossman at SCOI wanted to do to him! (3 discectomies & fusion) holy crap! Dr. Taban said "absolutely not! You're young and healthy...You'll be back in 10 yrs for more surgery!" His recommendations were clearly what my husband needed and we scheduled his surgery w/Taban-had to wait 3 months for the date (that's how busy he is) but again we'll worth to wait! When Dr. Taban got going on the surgery he found that one of my husband's disks had ruptured, and that definitely explained why he was in so much more pain... So he cleaned up all the fragments as well as the bulges and said, there was plenty of disc remaining. No need to remove them. He also performed a Foraminotomy, and a laminectomy, as well as drilled the holes wider for the nerve roots to flow freely through. My husband was a new man within a week! Dr. Taban is amazing! My husband has been doing wonderful ever since-20 years later. He still has some soreness that he has to deal with and does see a chiropractor sometimes. We learned so much through this, and we're so grateful that we found this Dr. Taban. Do not let anyone touch your spine unless they're a neurosurgeon! Even if they're a "spine specialist" don't waste your time! Go to a neurosurgeon. Highly recommend Dr. Taban! P.S. At his office, in the lobby there's lots of reading material available which consists of hundreds of letters from patients thanking him and I can't remember how many of those letters were from people who were hacked by a different doctor and we're coming to Dr. Taban to fix/clean up their mess!
