They will tell you the 2nd appointment doesn't cost anything, but you WILL BE BILLED for the 2nd appt. The staff are all very nice. They seem knowledgeable which makes they practice more believably intentional. I do feel bad for the people who work here; they are as much a victim of the state of the healthcare system encouraging business processes that inflate costs for basic services through any means possible. They likely are just doing what they are told by the parent medical group with expectation to execute in their roles. Of course, sympathy for the minions of the facility doesn't mean I'll go back to pay 2x for everything. There are plenty of other BCBS docs around... try them first before succumbing to double the costs to you.
