Chris, you gave me the exact materials list that needed to be ordered at Home Depot. Don't be disingenuous with I ordered the materials and did not have you paint it. You were the contractor and should have looked at my home trim and matched it. Pine wood verses hardi plank is just wrong, primer and paint or not. Did I forget that you failed to brace the framed structure, and straight line winds knocked the frame down. You were required to build the garage frame twice? So we really shouldn't go there. Chris's team did a great job in a complete interior restoration of my condo. It was torn down the studs and rebuilt like new. The entire project was well planned, executed on as committed, the craftmanship, ... could not have gone any better. It was a major task with many different phases. Wild Creek has a professional team with members in place handling their tasks so it all comes together on time, as committed and within budget. Having a very useful customer portal to see activities, progress, communications, photos, schedules, ... this is the way to view and track a project. A truly sound business model and template to follow like real project management. You get to see at what phase the project is in, and what is going to happen next. There were no surprises. When a question did come up by his team or me, it was always handled professionally and promptly. Would certainly use them again for any size restoration or rebuild project . I called Chris Haynes for a home I was interested in but wasn't under contract yet. He still accepted to come and give me an estimate on a complete kitchen remodel. He was very professional and gave clear explanation of the process we would go through if I accepted his bid. Now, I didn't end up getting that home as my offer was rejected by the seller who wanted full price even though there was a lot of fixing to do in that home. But Chris was fine with that. His quote was a bit high on purpose, because he doesn't want his customers to be shocked if unexpected additional work is necessary. I can't judge him on his actual work since I didn't go past the estimate. Still, he seems to know his job very well. read more

I really like Chris Haynes and his work. He is thorough and asks the right questions to arrive at a cost estimate that matches the work and quality needed per project. He is somewhere in between a general contractor and a handyman... He can build, remodel, paint, or repair just about anything and he has a team of subs for electrical/hvac/ and plumbing. The first client of mine who worked with Chris wanted a kitchenette added to a living area, repairs to an older hvac, and a roof replaced... an easy list for a general contractor but not so easy for the average handyman. I would not be afraid to hand him a larger, more involved project with a lot of moving parts. Chris looks like he is about 22 so my immediate thought was to ask him a lot of questions to make sure he knew the ropes. He matched my questions with some answers and more questions of his own that helped refine the scope of the project, and after 30 minutes with him, I knew we had the right man for the job. He is likeable, a straight shooter, and a hardworker. He is young, but has been doing construction projects since 2005, so don't hold his youthful exuberance against him... he is smart, and i hope he still has time for more of my projects after he get some well-deserved yelp attention. read more

Had Chris' team do some paint and electrical work at a rental property. They finished the paint job in two days and the place looks great. Chris was supposed to come back the next Monday to finish the electrical work and do some touch-up paint. He didn't show up or call to let me know he wasn't coming. Chris and team remodeled my kitchen (no layout changes tho), my stairs, fireplace, and some outdoor pieces (shutters and front door paint). You hear horror stories all the time about contractors...shoddy work, disappearing acts, delays, aggressive with payments, etc. Chris and team did none of the above and proved that there are great contractors out there. Chris was always accessible, communicated frequently on the plan and changes, and was patient with my million questions. His crews are also incredible - not only skilled at their craft, but also respectful and clean. Oh and the quote he gave at the beginning of the job didn't change one penny. I can't say enough great things about Chris and his team. Only constructive comment is it took 3 weeks longer than originally planned, but that was no big deal in the grand scheme of things. Bought a home for ~ $1M, C. Haynes Construction built a custom shower three years ago that guests actually cue up to stand in. Today, they are wrapping up a: residing, drywall, plaster, windows, slate and conventional tile install, gazebo build, gorgeous metal railing job, trim, paint, etc. The miters, joinery, fit, finish work is befitting a $2M asking price. I don't know whether to list the property or enjoy it for awhile. Those guys are level 10 and I didn't even mention the work on they did on the infinity edged pool. Super grateful to the guys for the shower. They got this job without my even considering a competitive bid. Give them the keys and trust them. It's all been good. I used C. Haynes Construction for a renovation on a house I bought. It involved renovating the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, hardwood floors, and painting. They did a fantastic job. I have a busy career and it was nice to have Chris to take care of everything. They are more expensive than others but the work is really great. There was a lot of tile work involved in my job, including building a walk-in shower and the work was done really well with super clean edges. If you want a job done well and to not have to put too much of your own time into it, I highly recommend them. read more
