The hygienist, Paula, said it was time for x-rays. I told her that I did not want x-rays because I have had no issues and I have other concerns as well (none of their business). She was a little huffy about that and said she would inform Dr. Banks. She came back and said he was mad I wouldn't do the x-rays. The cleaning went on as regularly scheduled and when complete she went to Dr. Banks and informed him it was time for my oral exam. Dr. Banks refused to do the oral exam and told her it was because I wouldn't take x-rays. Prior dentists have informed me that if I haven't been having issues it wasn't necessary based on my dental history. Dr Banks has always been nice but now has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. I asked the dental office to have him call me....crickets. I am the customer putting money in their overpaid pockets. This isn't the first issue I have had with this office but the others were billing issues which they took care of them because of misinformation. These people are overpaid which shows by their extravagant office.

The entire office staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, especially when it comes to working around my crazy schedule because I have 5 kiddos . I also always enjoy chatting with Hunter while I'm there, which is an added bonus to my trip. Dr. Eggen has a way of making a trip to the dentist feel more like visiting with a friend. I was referred to this dentist and I was less than impressed! My cleaning was just fine, but…read moremeeting with Dr Eggen was way below what I was expecting. He walked in and didn't even bother to introduce himself, was arrogant, immediately told me he only works M-W and emergencies are handled elsewhere. My first impression wasn't impressive AT ALL! He looked in my mouth and said that I need to brush and floss better (although his hygienist told me that my teeth and gums are very healthy for my age) and asked when was the last time I saw a dentist. I told him that I have seen a dentist every 6 months since I was a child and follow through on all appointments. He pointed out that I have broken teeth, cavities and crowns that need replaced or repaired immediately. I received a quote that was absolutely ridiculous! I told him I have never had an issue with my teeth and especially the ones he pointed out and he said, "well, nobody has the top of line equipment and X-rays like mine". I told him they weren't bothering me at all. I decided to get a second opinion and when I scheduled that appointment, they requested the X-rays from Eggen Dental. The X-rays that were sent over were horrible quality and blurry (I could even tell), so I had new X-rays done. The new dentist said the "broken teeth" weren't broken at all and those were just lines in my teeth. The new dentist asked if I had issues or pain with those teeth and I said none. He said he would prefer to recheck in 6 months as he didn't see any of the issues Eggen dental said I had. I will never return to Eggen dental as I felt talked down to, felt as the dentist was arrogant and that he was just making things up about issues with my teeth. My new dentist came highly recommended and I will keep my business with a dentist that is friendly, not arrogant and doesn't make up issues that don't exist.

This place was amazing!…read more My family and I were visiting Brian Head from California when my 5 year old son got very ill. We brought him in and the entire staff was great. At first we were told it would be a 2 hour wait, but once they heard his cough, they were able to squeeze him in pretty quickly. The nurse was funny and told him exactly what was going on when she took his pulse-ox, blood pressure and temp. Dr Brooks gave him a thorough examination and told us he had congestion in his lungs, and an ear infection. His nurse administered a breathing treatment which helped immediately. Dr Brooks prescribed medications and recommended a local pharmacy since we were from out of town. All in all I was very happy that my son was able to receive care here and I would not hesitate to take him here again should he ever get sick again on our yearly ski trip! Thanks to you all, he was able to enjoy the second half of his vacation and he felt great!

She said rudely with me and then proceeded to give us attitude the whole time. Shana the lady that takes your vitals in back and takes the X- rays, was even more rude. My son kept fainting in the back due to low blood sugar, he's diabetic. Through the door I overheard one of the nurses Kevin say, I can give him some of my lunch, because of his low blood sugar. I then could hear Shana say absolutely not, you're not going to give any of your lunch to him. She has been so rude and condescending when she talks to us. This has happened over and over again, the last two times we have been there.The only bright spots there are nurse Kevin and Dr. Parson.
