i'm pretty sure this is an update of my previous review.
Stop through the drive-through because I had a bit sweet tooth craving and wanted some coffee. I already had my morning coffee, so I just wanted something very small and decaf which in Puerto Rico is pretty hard to find decaf since we are very prideful of our coffee (which if you have never tried Puerto Rican coffee, stop what you are doing and go find some).
I was going to just order a vegan chocolate chip cookie but I saw they had the seasonal pumpkin brownie so I think it was OK to make the exception just to try it. So I ordered the 4 ounce decaf oat latte which really it's more of a Cortadito, but decaf and the seasonal brownie.
The coffee was great. I've had plenty hit or miss with David's café coffee in the past and the barista today did a really good job having a great balance in a small coffee with milk.
Coming down to the seasonal brownie: I like it, but it taste more like a Blondie than a pumpkin brownie . You see, there is a distinct layer of the brownie on the bottom, and on the top you have like a pumpkin bread cookie-ish. But to me, it doesn't taste like pumpkin, the flavor of the brownie overpowers the pumpkin so it's very minimal the pumpkin flavor in this brownie.
I tasted the side of the pumpkin by itself and I really don't get the pumpkin flavor. It's not packed with pumpkin; again It's very very minimal and it's not as soft as the brownie side. It's a bit more chewy but both together taste pretty well.
The café itself on the inside as you can see in the pictures it's really cozy. You can sit down and work on your computer while you have your coffee ( more like a Starbucks feel)
But if you are on a rush go to the drive-through. In comparison with starbucks it was fast and they even validate parking ticket for you so you don't have to pay. read more
